Chapter 774: Chapter 774: Troubleso Man in Red_1

The Fire Attribute Magic Skill released by Qin Sisi seed like a roaring ball of red fla, charging fiercely towards the black-robed man with a sword.

In Qin Sisi’s perspective, this man was likely collaborating with the one Jing Jing was chasing. Since they dared to ambush, they must possess real abilities and would probably be difficult to deal with. Her goal was simply to buy as much ti as possible until Jing Jing returned or the others discovered what was happening.

However, to Qin Sisi’s surprise, the black-robed man did not dodge her Magic Skill, instead, he braced himself against it.

The next second, the black-robed man had been blasted twenty or thirty ters away by Qin Sisi’s "teors Rain of Fire," falling heavily to the ground, writhing weakly.

Qin Sisi incredulously looked at her own palm. She hadn’t expected the enemy to be so easy to deal with. For that mont, she felt her courage surge and she slowly approached the black-robed man.

The black-robed man seed considerably injured. He struggled backwards, pushing against the ground with his foot, as if he greatly feared Qin Sisi.

Seeing him fear her, Qin Sisi’s courage grew even more. She took a large step forward, reaching out her hand in an attempt to seize the black-robed man.

To her surprise, driven to desperation like a cornered dog, the black-robed man evaded Qin Sisi’s move, rolled up from the ground onto his feet, and without a mont’s hesitation ran forward. He ran clumsily, limping as he went.

Qin Sisi was not willing to let this man escape from her sight. Curious about who wanted to harm her, she chased after him upon seeing the black-robed man stumbling.

However, it was strange, even though the black-robed man was not running fast, every ti Qin Sisi was about to catch him, he could always escape from her hands in an uncanny manner, continuing to flee in another direction.

By the ti Qin Sisi realized sothing was wrong, she had already traveled a considerable distance from Tiandan Mountain.

Qin Sisi stopped in her tracks. If she continued chasing, she would shift farther away from Tiandan Mountain. If sothing happened to her, neither Ye You nor the others would know, nor could they co and save her in ti.

She couldn’t act rashly. Perhaps, things were not as simple as they seed. Qin Sisi decided to stop chasing and return to Tiandan Mountain instead.

Just as she was about to give up on chasing the black-robed man, a person suddenly appeared not far in front of her. A bright red cloak fluttering in the wind caught her attention imdiately.

Struck with a sudden idea, Qin Sisi tentatively shouted, "Hey, you in the red cloak, stop that black-robed man!"

As she yelled, she resud her pursuit. If soone intercepted him, maybe she could capture the black-robed man.

The young man in the red cloak seed to hesitate for a mont. By the ti he responded, the black-robed man had already rushed towards him. Subconsciously raising his arm to block, the black-robed man’s longsword slid across his arm.

"Ah! Help! Murder!" The man in the red cloak collapsed onto his bottom in panic, screaming in fear.

As Qin Sisi caught up, she saw fresh blood gushing from the arm of the young man in red and could not help but halt, watching helplessly as the black-robed man vanished into the dense woods.

Qin Sisi sighed helplessly and squatted down. Speaking kindly to the man in red, she asked, "Are you okay?"

The man’s face was pale. Pointing to his bleeding arm, he whined dramatically, "It’s bleeding. It hurts so much!"

Qin Sisi couldn’t help but frown. This man, he was such a drama queen!

"Let

help you heal it," said Qin Sisi. She gently lifted the red-clothed man’s arm, carefully rolling up his sleeve to reveal the wound beneath.

Despite the poor impression, the man was injured because he tried to stall the black-robed man for her.

He had a deep sword wound on his arm. Qin Sisi, after briefly examining it, relieved to find that it was a flesh wound. It hadn’t hit any tendons or bones.

Qin Sisi channeled her magic power, condensing a faint green glow in the palm of her hand, which she then applied onto the man’s injured arm.

She was using the Wood Attribute Healing Magic Skill, "Grass Shines Sunshine." Although she was not very proficient and her control over the spiritual power was not precise, she had no other choice but to give it her best shot.

Half an hour later, Qin Sisi slowly withdrew her Healing Magic and wiped the sweat beads on her forehead.

While Healing Skills seed simple, they required rigorous control of magical power. Using them was quite draining.

Qin Sisi did quite well. Now the wound on the man’s arm had mostly healed, leaving only an ugly scar.

The man, seeing the ugly scar, frowned discontentedly, complaining, "Sister, your Healing Skills are awful. How can I show my face with this unsightly scar?"

Qin Sisi’s brows furrowed even more. How can he show his face? Did he think he was a stunning beauty who lived off his looks? Furthermore, that scar wasn’t on his face!

However, considering that everything started because of her, Qin Sisi patiently said, "I apologize, my Healing Skills are indeed poor. If you aren’t satisfied, you can ask your teacher to heal you. They could surely do better!"

The man in red glanced at Qin Sisi and considered for a mont before saying, "Alright, but you’ll have to co with . If my teacher asks, you’ll need to explain to him, or he’ll scold . You wouldn’t want

to get scolded, would you?"

Qin Sisi wanted to retort, but she held back. She hesitantly said, "Could you go on your own? I’ve been gone for a while now. I have to get back imdiately, or else my friends will get worried."

With a wronged expression, the man remarked, "You’re so heartless. I got hurt because I helped you, and now you’re just going to leave

here."

Still flabbergasted, Qin Sisi was at a loss for words. It seed like she had run into a tough spot.

Seeing her reluctant face, the man sighed and said, "Forget it, I won’t trouble you anymore. But, I was terrified earlier and my legs have gone weak. You should at least escort

to the foot of the mountain. That’s the least you could do!"

As he spoke, he leaned against a tree, trying to stand. His legs were actually trembling a bit.

Qin Sisi couldn’t find the words to refuse. Looking at the foot of the mountain, it didn’t seem that far, probably only fifteen minutes away.

"Alright then, I’ll escort you down the mountain," agreed Qin Sisi, noting to herself that once he was safely at the bottom, she would imdiately head back to Tiandan Mountain. By then, Ye You should have already returned.

"Thanks, beautiful sister," the man in red said, grinning. "Hey, support

a bit. My legs are weak," he continued, extending his arm towards Qin Sisi.

Qin Sisi was at a loss for words. Begrudgingly, she grabbed hold of his arm and assisted him down the mountain.
