Chapter 773: Chapter 773: Attacked_1
When the announcent of the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle ca out, the entire Demon Sacred Realm was in an uproar.
Many were angered and disgusted by Tian Xiaozi’s actions, and quite a few also sympathized with Prince Yeyou.
The commotion was quite lively, but the final outco was still as predicted by Yeyou.
The Panhu family made a high-profile statent of support for Prince Yeyou and the legitimate bloodline of the Jiuxi Royal Family on the second day after the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle announcent.
The other seven major families, however, all maintained a relatively neutral stance with justifications similar to those of the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle. They said that this was an internal affair of the Jiuxi Royal Family and it was not proper for them to interfere. It had to be resolved by the Jiuxi Royal Family alone.
However, leaders from a few families quietly sent people to the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle to visit Yeyou, telling him that they could provide covert help and support if needed.
Yeyou thanked them, but he also emphasized that he had decided to defeat Tian Xiaozi with his own power.
Yeyou did not dare to trust these clandestine visitors readily. If they could visit him in secret, they could also contact Tian Xiaozi behind his back.
Whether they were loyal or treacherous would be proven over ti.
On the other hand, after Yeyou confessed to Qin Sisi his intention to leave alone, he threw himself into the eleventh level of the trial tower, making necessary equipnt for Qin Sisi in the forging room. anwhile, Qin Sisi continued her training of the five elents magic on the fifth level.
Of course, Yeyou didn’t feel at ease with Qin Sisi training alone. But as he knew Jing Jing had to practice alchemy and didn’t want to bother her every day, and Yun Wang had to deal with matters concerning Panhu’s family and couldn’t always stay with him,
So Yeyou asked Qing Xun to take turns with Jing Jing accompanying Qin Sisi into the trial tower to practice magic, both as a tutor and healing doctor, and at the sa ti her personal bodyguard.
Qin Sisi was not familiar with Qing Xun and at first, it took her so ti to adjust to practice under his guidance.
However, she soon found out that Qing Xun was an excellent tutor as well as a very competent and professional doctor.
When Qin Sisi was stuck, Qing Xun would gently, yet pointedly, point out her deficiencies or mistakes during training and advise her on how to correct them.
The first ti Qin Sisi got hurt in front of Qing Xun, she was embarrassed and unwanting to reveal her injured skin in front of him.
But Qing Xun remained silent and started to heal her through her clothes. The whole process didn’t even touch her clothes, which surprised Qin Sisi and increased her trust in Qing Xun.
After getting more familiar with Qing Xun, Qin Sisi asked him indirectly, Jing Jing would always cover her skin with Magic Light when healing her injuries, aren’t their thods the sa?
What Qin Sisi was really interested in is whether Yeyou could heal through clothes. If he could, it ant that he had deliberately taken advantage before.
Qing Xun calmly explained to Qin Sisi, "The effect is indeed better when directly applied on the skin, both in terms of the spiritual power consud by the healer and the ti taken. Healing through clothes would consu more spiritual power and ti. If the healing technique is not so advanced, it could potentially mishandle the degree of spiritual power."
Qin Sisi nodded. So, it could be that Yeyou was afraid of mishandling the degree of spiritual power, and that was why he chose to contact the skin directly!
After answering Qin Sisi’s question, Qing Xun stayed quiet, standing aside.
Qin Sisi could feel that although Qing Xun seed to show everyone a gentle and polite deanor, his politeness also ant he kept a distance from others.
He was understandably accompanying Qin Sisi out of Yeyou’s instruction. It seed that he did not intend to get too close to Qin Sisi.
Since Qin Sisi was not an overly sociable person, she didn’t try to break the ice when she sensed Qing Xun’s distance. Apart from necessary conversations, she did not initiate any unrelated conversations with Qing Xun during their daily magic practice.
Under the instruction of Qing Xun and Jing Jing and through her own efforts, Qin Sisi made great progress in magic practice, achieving better results and greater rewards from the black toad.
From obtaining one or two low-grade spirit stones in the beginning to gaining three to five later, and half a month later, she could earn about ten for other magic skills and fifteen for her most proficient fire magic.
While Qin Sisi was busy with magic training, Yeyou was busy forging equipnt for her. Both spent their dayti in the trial tower and only t in the evening.
And Yeyou would turn into a black cat at night to avoid any intimate situations that could lead to a loss of control.
Half a month passed by really quickly. That day, Qin Sisi finished her day of practice and left the trial tower with Jing Jing.
As they were strolling along and chatting, a sudden tornado appeared out of nowhere, swirling and howling toward them.
"Watch out!" Being more experienced than Qin Sisi, Jing Jing reacted first. She shoved Qin Sisi aside, quickly conjured up her magic power, and ford a translucent shield in front of her.
The tornado hit the shield as soon as it ford, resulting in a blinding light and a loud bang. Both spells dissipated at the sa ti.
A dark figure darted past from behind the trees in the distance, glancing at Qin Sisi and the others before fleeing.
With anxiety and concern, Jing Jing quickly said to Qin Sisi, "Go back first. I will go after him."
Before Qin Sisi could say anything, Jing Jing had already jumped up and started chasing, feeling as though she had seen the fleeing figure sowhere before.
Startled by the sudden incident, Qin Sisi was at a loss for a while before she finally started walking back to her residence.
She hadn’t gone far when she felt a sudden chill from behind.
Subconsciously turning around, she saw a figure in black standing a few ters away. The figure was clad in black with their face concealed. Only the pair of eyes were visible, emitting a chilling light.
"Who are you?" Qin Sisi shouted as she started to gather the power of magic in the palm of her hand.
The figure in black didn’t say a word, but lifted the longsword in their hand. With a slight exertion of power, the blade shone uniformly with a magical pale blue light.
The figure in black lashed out at Qin Sisi with the sword that was charged with magical energy.
"teors Rain of Fire!" Qin Sisi shouted, and directed her palm forward, releasing the attacking magic that she had practiced the most.
