Chapter 673: Chapter 673: The Forever Loyal Husband_1

Qin Sisi was having trouble breathing. Although she was hidden inside the Invisible Bubble, she felt as though Luo Wei could see her.

Luo Wei stood there motionless, and so did Qin Sisi.

After a long while, Luo Wei finally uttered a single word, "Who?"

This one word let Qin Sisi breathe a sigh of relief, confirming that Luo Wei could not see her at all.

Qin Sisi sidestepped slightly. As expected, Luo Wei’s gaze did not follow her movent, which implied that Luo Wei hadn’t actually seen her but was just unable to sleep and ca to investigate the sound of the door opening.

Han Zhenjiang was simply standing there by then, his eyes firmly fixed on Luo Wei, his expression complex.

He hated her for robbing him of his life, but could not sustain his resentnt amidst the pleasant mories of their youth, the tenderness she displayed while kissing his sculpture, or their whispered sweet nothings during their nightly confessions of love.

Even he himself didn’t know whether he should love her or despise her.

Just as Qin Sisi was trying to figure out how to approach Luo Wei, she noticed Luo Wei staring blankly at the closed door, saying in a ghostly voice, "Ah Jiang, without you, I can’t sleep alone."

A sharp pang of pain surged through Han Zhenjiang’s heart, his emotional state growing even more complicated.

Finishing her piece, Luo Wei went straight to the bedside table, opened the drawer, and retrieved a set of keys.

Without bothering to change clothes or put on shoes, she opened the door and went out directly.

Qin Sisi, in shocked disbelief, quickly followed the oddly behaving Luo Wei, and Han Zhenjiang quickly trailed behind them.

Her long, pure white nightgown fluttered with her movents. Barefoot, she walked down the deserted hallway.

In the silence of the late-night hours, so quiet you could hear a pin drop, only her wandering figure could be seen. Her bare feet stepped on the cold, hard floor, making no sound.

As Qin Sisi trailed behind her, she scrutinized Luo Wei’s back figure and felt a strange sensation, as if Luo Wei seed more like a ghost than Han Zhenjiang.

Luo Wei entered the elevator, Qin Sisi, and Han Zhenjiang slipped in after her, and Luo Wei pressed the floor where the art museum was located.

Qin Sisi’s heart went "thump," was Luo Wei heading to the museum? Wouldn’t the broken sculpture, "My Love," be discovered?

Should she stop Luo Wei?

Qin Sisi hesitated montarily but quickly decided to let Luo Wei discover the broken sculpture. This would give her the perfect opportunity to probe Luo Wei’s true feelings.

Exiting the elevator, Luo Wei walked to the entrance of the museum like a specter. She shot the two sleeping security guards a cold glance, then used her keys to unlock the museum door.

Pushing open the door, she stepped into the museum, intending to turn on the lights. In that instant, both Qin Sisi and Han Zhenjiang slipped in behind her, and swiftly shut the museum door behind them.

At that mont, the room was suddenly bright. The museum lights had been turned on.

The sudden brightness made Qin Sisi instinctively shield her eyes. Shortly after, a sharp scream pierced her eardrums.

Startled, Qin Sisi quickly dropped her hand, squinting at the scene that greeted her eyes. There Luo Wei stood, in front of the shattered "My Love," frozen as a statue, her face paler than a ghost’s.

Qin Sisi turned to Ye You and said, "Call off the invisibility bubble. I’ll go handle her."

Ye You nodded, gesturing with a claw to remove the invisibility. Although Luo Wei was behaving erratically, she was just a normal human, and Qin Sisi should be able to handle her.

Luo Wei continued to stare blankly at the shattered sculpture, seemingly unable to accept what was happening before her eyes.

Finally, after a while, she abruptly knelt on the floor. Shimmying a bit forward on her knees, she cradled the torso of the sculpture, the only part remaining intact, murmuring, "Ah Jiang, this isn’t true, right? You’re just playing a joke on , right?"

Qin Sisi slowly walked over to Luo Wei and said out loud, "He’s not joking around. He’s really broken."

"Impossible! I don’t believe it. He said he would love

forever, stay with

forever. He can’t lie to !" Luo Wei retorted Qin Sisi, her expression frantic and fierce.

All her attention was on the shattered "My Love." She did not notice the sudden appearance of Qin Sisi, nor did she care who had broken it. All that mattered to her was that her sculpture was in pieces.

Noticing Luo Wei’s unstable ntal state, Qin Sisi mustered her thoughts and continued calmly, "He indeed loved you very much, but he didn’t receive the sa love in return. So he left."

"No, who said I didn’t love him? I do love him. I love him so much I’m going insane!" Luo Wei’s words ca out in a biting, gnashing manner, her expression indeed show signs of going mad.

Qin Sisi casually glanced at the tension-ridden Han Zhenjiang and continued in the sa provocative tone, "You loved him? I don’t believe it. How could anyone bear to kill the person they love?"

Bluntly Luo Wei replied, her gaze icy, "What do you know? There are many ways to express love. Ordinary folks like you only know how to savor the present. Yet, I’m different. What I pursued was eternal loyalty, inseparability."

At a loss for words, Qin Sisi blinked, unable to grasp Luo Wei’s language.

Despite Qin Sisi’s silence, Luo Wei, hugging tight to the remaining torso of the broken sculpture, went on babbling about her one-sided love, "Ah Jiang is very handso. He is the most perfect man in this world. The way he bursts forward when he starts a race, full of power and grace, is my favorite."

"I have always wondered if there’s a way for Ah Jiang to stay forever perfect? Humans grow old, and one day, Ah Jiang will beco old and lose his perfection."

"He said he would love

forever, but what if he falls in love with soone else one day?"

"Since the day we got married, I have been racking my brain every day, finding a perfect solution, a way for Ah Jiang to always love , always stay young and perfect."

"One day, I wanted to make a perfect sculpture, but I could not find inspiration. Yet, that day, I saw Ah Jiang smiling and waving at , running towards

after his morning practice. Suddenly it struck . I found the perfect solution to capture him in a sculpture and let him be forever loyal, forever young."

As Luo Wei was narrating her thought process, her facial expressions gradually beca calr, and her voice was softer, more like a feather’s touch.

Her mory brought her back to that day she would never forget - the swift, deadly poison, a large amount of embalming fluid, a red string to trap his soul, a robust, running figure, the sculpture material solidified on the skin...

The most magnificent piece of her life was born. At the sa ti, she had succeeded in having a husband who would remain forever faithful, forever young.
