Chapter 633: Chapter 633: Should he live or die_1
After so contemplation, An Ran had to concede that Qin Sisi was right. She had died indeed and had no chance to resurrect. No matter how regretful, sorrowful or angry she was, it was all in vain.
Having co to this conclusion, An Ran no longer had the strength or the mood to argue with Qin Sisi. She recalled Qin Sisi advising her to plan her next life and found herself speaking with a bitter smile, "The next life? Is there another life for ? Even if there is, what power do I have to decide the fate of my next life?"
Qin Sisi had been waiting for this, and replied without hesitation, "I can help you. Whatever kind of life you want in your next reincarnation, I can help you achieve it."
"You?" Just like the many ghosts she had encountered before, An Ran displayed an expression of disbelief. She would not accept that Qin Sisi would be capable of such a thing.
Seeing An Ran’s reaction, Qin Sisi knew she did not trust her and harbored deep suspicion towards her.
After a mont’s thought, she turned to address Ye You, asking, "Can she see the Spirit Conversion Bottle?"
Most ghosts, after interacting with them, or after their wishes had been fulfilled in the present, were usually willing to relinquish their Soul Power.
On encountering particularly mistrustful ghosts, Ye You had even unveiled the Spirit Conversion Bottle before, showing them the multitude of diverse spirits contained within it as testant to their imnse power. This inspired respect and fear within the ghost and usually resulted in them agreeing to their bargain.
To let the collected ghosts appear, even if only for a very short ti, drained a significant amount of Spiritual Power, hence Ye You would refrain from using it freely.
It was clear that An Ran, riddled with resentnt, harbored deep distrust for Qin Sisi, compounded by the fact that Qin Sisi had forcefully taken her away from the costic surgery hospital. Without any concrete proofs, verbal promises alone would probably not be enough to persuade her.
Being fully aware of the current situation, Ye You contemplated briefly, nodded his consent and summoned the Spirit Conversion Bottle with a flick of his claws.
The pure white Spirit Conversion Bottle, shimring with silvery light, slowly rotated above their heads as countless images of spirits began to materialize in mid-air. So were soaked with fresh blood, others were dismbered, so were captivatingly beautiful won, and others were fierce and terrifying creatures.
The images flickered and vanished in regular intervals. An Ran knew that they were all under the control of Qin Sisi.
Although it had drained Ye You of massive Spiritual Power, the final effect was genuinely impressive.
An Ran was completely stunned by these diverse spirits and began to acknowledge the formidable abilities of Qin Sisi. The young woman before her was not to be underestimated.
An Ran’s most profound wish was to continue living, to stay by her family’s side, to live a life of happiness and joy. But since the dead can’t be resurrected, it was certain that her wish was impossible to grant.
After so thought, An Ran decided to take the next best option and seriously discuss it with Qin Sisi.
Ye You did not cause all the collected ghosts within the Spirit Conversion Bottle to manifest, he simply observed, noting An Ran’s expression shift from shock to peace, realising his objective was accomplished, before retrieving the Spirit Conversion Bottle.
Qin Sisi turned to An Ran and said, "Now do you believe ? All of these are ghosts that have offered their Soul Power to
because I can help you fulfill your dreams, be it wishes from this life or the next."
After thinking for a while, An Ran spoke in a grave tone, "My wish in this life is to make those who caused my death pay with their lives. My wish for the next life is to et my mother, my husband, and my child again, allowing us to live together happily just as we did in this life, without any misfortune."
Qin Sisi’s eyes flashed briefly as she replied, "I can help you with your wish for the next life, but I can’t make soone pay with their life for you."
"Why not? The hospital only cares about profit! The doctors don’t value life. Don’t they deserve punishnt?" An Ran argued, clearly upset.
In a low, clear voice, Qin Sisi replied, "They indeed deserve punishnt, but you have to admit that you, as an adult, blindly trusted the doctor’s word to undergo an unnecessary operation. That in itself is irresponsible."
"You!" An Yan was both angry and annoyed, blurting out, "I know nothing about costic surgery. Of course, I listened to the doctor. I just wanted to perfect my figure. Is it wrong to pursue beauty?"
Indeed, there seed to be nothing wrong with pursuing beauty.
Qin Sisi was suddenly reminded of Xia Ruoyan, whose costic surgery had failed miserably, deforming her instead. Unable to bear the disparity between her expectations and reality, she committed suicide by jumping off a building.
She then waited until she had gathered enough Spiritual Power to kill the husband-and-wife owners of the beauty clinic, ultimately getting her revenge.
Without Qin Sisi’s intervention, perhaps An Ran’s fate would have resembled that of Xia Ruoyan!
Should the doctor who perford the breast augntation surgery on An Ran die?
Faced with this conundrum, Qin Sisi was at a loss, unsure of what to say to An Ran.
At this mont, Ye You whispered in Sisi’s ear, "It’s not clear whether An Ran’s death was due to a natural disaster or man-made. We need to investigate."
This made Qin Sisi realize—right, there are many people nowadays who undergo breast augntation surgery, and it’s generally safe. Why did sothing go wrong in An Ran’s case? Was the doctor guilty or not? How much was he at fault?
They didn’t know the answers to these questions, so they had no way to give An Ran a definitive response to her request.
Qin Sisi organized her thoughts and addressed An Ran, "I need to investigate the cause of your death. If it was an accident, I cannot help you kill anyone. If your doctor did indeed cause your death, then I can help you."
Upon hearing this, An Ran hesitated for a mont before eventually agreeing. After all, she wanted to find out the cause of her death too. How did so many others undergo the sa procedure without any complications, while sothing had gone wrong in her case?
"What’s the na of your primary doctor?" asked Qin Sisi, after she confird An Ran’s agreent, she began to inquire about details related to her death.
"Mao Xiaolu." An Ran reached inside her for the mory and began recounting the procedure of her breast augntation surgery in detail to Qin Sisi.
From her account, besides sensing so degree of coercion from Doctor Mao Xiaolu, Qin Sisi couldn’t glean any other information.
She didn’t expect to uncover anything valuable from An Ran’s account because An Ran herself didn’t know how she died.
Afterwards, through probing into An Ran’s mory, Ye You was able to recall what Doctor Mao Xiaolu looked like.
The next day, Qin Sisi, along with Ye You, visited the costic surgery clinic again, this ti seeking an appointnt under the pretense of desiring costic surgery under Mao Xiaolu.
In a very clean office room, Qin Sisi ca face to face with An Ran’s primary doctor, Mao Xiaolu.
This office seed a little odd for Qin Sisi; it was too clean. The office was stocked with professional office furniture, a treatnt bed, file cabinet, and others of superior quality compared to those in other doctors’ offices in their mory.
Qin Sisi shook her head slightly. Perhaps Doctor Mao Xiaolu holds a high position and also demonstrates sowhat of a fixation on cleanliness!
