Chapter 620: Chapter 620 Emotional Awareness Transfer_1
Qin Sisi’s night vision wasn’t very strong, unable to clearly see the faces of the two girls on the bed. Afraid of confusing them, she quietly asked Qiu Huxi for help.
Although Qiu Huxi could see clearly, she too was afraid of making a mistake. She purposefully approached and took a closer look. Finally, she confird with certainty to Qin Sisi: the one on the inside was the elder cousin, and the one on the outside was the younger one.
Qin Sisi nodded, gently tapping the paw of Ye You, who was seated on her shoulder, signaling him to take action.
Once the target was determined, Ye You gave Qin Sisi a few instructions, asking her to relay them to Qiu Huxi.
Qin Sisi spoke to Qiu Huxi: "Stand by your younger cousin, close your eyes, and do not move. You might feel slightly uncomfortable in a mont."
Qiu Huxi nodded her head and positioned herself next to her cousin. In a deep voice, she said, "I understand. I can tolerate this. Go ahead!"
Ye You raised his paw, a ball of blue light gradually taking form within his hand. With a wave of his paw, the blue light shrouded Qiu Huxi’s head.
Qiu Huxi’s brain started to feel a tingling sensation, as if tiny currents were coursing through her mind.
A few minutes later, an object radiating pink light was drawn out from Qiu Huxi’s brain by the blue light.
As if sothing closely connected to her body was being stripped away, the sensation caused great pain. Qiu Huxi furrowed her brows, clenching her fists tightly, struggling to endure the discomfort.
Soon, the pink strip-shaped object was completely drawn out, encased by Ye You’s blue light, and gradually moved towards Qiu Huxi’s younger cousin.
Afterwards, the pink strip-shaped object was slowly transferred into her cousin’s brain.
The barrage of intense emotional consciousness flooding her mind caused the younger cousin to feel extrely uncomfortable. Her head unconsciously twisted from side to side, her breathing beca faster and she let out several painful moans.
Although struggling herself, due to the presence of the magic light, the younger cousin did not wake up. However, her elder sister lying next to her could sense her discomfort and suddenly opened her eyes.
However, since her elder cousin was facing the other side, just as she was about to turn around to check on her sister, Ye You completed the transfer of emotional consciousness. He pulled back the magic light with one claw and established the invisibility bubble with the other.
The elder cousin turned around but did not notice anything unusual about the room. She rely shook her panting younger sister, asking with concern, "What’s wrong? Did you have a nightmare?"
The younger cousin vaguely opened her eyes upon being shaken by her sister, murmuring uncertainly, "I don’t know, I just have a headache."
"Does it still hurt? Should I wake our parents up to check on you?" The elder cousin continued to ask gently.
The younger cousin angled her head to gauge her condition. It didn’t seem to hurt as much, there was just a slight discomfort in one region of her brain. She thought it wasn’t a big deal, so she whispered back, "It’s late, don’t wake them up, it’s nothing. It’s probably because I’m not used to sleeping in a different place."
Seeing that her younger cousin said it wasn’t a big deal, the elder cousin was relieved. After comforting her sister with a few words, the two girls fell back into slumber.
Watching them finally calm down with steady breathing, Qin Sisi went over to Qiu Huxi, whispering softly, "The job is done."
Qiu Huxi nodded, turned to squat by the bed, she gazed at her younger cousin with her brows furrowed in sleep, whispering, "Cousin, I’m counting on you from now on."
After saying this, Qiu Huxi reached out to hold her cousin’s hand, even though she knew her cousin wouldn’t feel her grip even if she were awake.
Then, Qiu Huxi stood up, looking sowhat worried, she asked Qin Sisi, "Will there be any side effects? For instance, would her improving relationship with my parents affect her relationship with her own parents?"
Ye You blinked, quickly ’owing’ a few tis into Qin Sisi’s ear.
Qin Sisi gently replied, "No, it’s only an increase in emotional consciousness. She will still love her own parents, and at the sa ti, she will love your parents just as you do. However, things or people that you particularly despise will also affect her."
Qiu Huxi considered this, then asked, "What if she inadvertently encounters those despicable man and woman in the future?"
Qin Sisi replied, "She will loathe them and reject them without any reason."
Qiu Huxi fell silent for a mont before saying, "That’s fine too, those two are no good anyway. It’s better for my younger cousin to keep her distance from them so she won’t be hard."
Qin Sisi gave a small laugh and said, "The world isn’t that big, nor that small. Whether she’ll encounter them is still unknown."
Qiu Huxi slowly nodded. After contemplating for a while, she asked, "Can I stay another day? I want to see how my cousin gets along with my parents."
After thinking for a mont, Qin Sisi agreed. After all, it was hard to convince soone with such an incredible event based solely on her single account.
Hence, Qin Sisi allowed Ye You to draw another talisman on Qiu Huxi’s forehead because the previous one was about to wane.
Just as Qin Sisi was about to leave, Qiu Huxi suddenly asked, "You’ve already helped
fulfill my wish. Aren’t you afraid that I’ll take this opportunity to run away?"
Qin Sisi smiled briefly and responded, "I believe you won’t."
"Why?" Qiu Huxi was curious about Qin Sisi’s serenity and confidence.
Qin Sisi said, "If I can transfer your emotional consciousness into your cousin’s brain, I can remove it just as easily."
Qiu Huxi blinked, and said, "That makes sense."
The two girls locked eyes, and suddenly, they both broke into laughter.
"See you tomorrow." Waving at Qin Sisi, Qin Sisi left with Ye You.
The next day, Qiu Huxi carefully observed her cousin’s condition, noticing that she seed much more natural than the day before.
Her behavior had been rather polite and cautious the previous day. Today, she didn’t have that feeling anymore.
Moreover, it seed that she had beco much more familiar with Qiu Huxi’s parents. She even cracked jokes with Qiu’s father and snuggled against Qiu’s mother. Those were things that would have never happened the day before.
Even Qiu Huxi’s aunt and uncle, the younger cousin’s parents, were surprised by their daughter’s behavior. But their hearts were filled with joy. They thought their daughter had matured suddenly and learned to be more considerate.
So, Qiu Huxi knew that Qin Sisi had not deceived her, it really worked as she had intended.
When night fell again, and all her family mbers had fallen into a deep sleep, Qiu Huxi entered her parents’ room, hugged her parents one last ti, wiped away her tears, left her ho, and drifted towards Qin Sisi’s place.
"You’re back." Qin Sisi, who was browsing through her magic notes, looked up to see Qiu Huxi’s arrival. She smiled and got to her feet.
Qiu Huxi nodded, exhaled deeply and turned her gaze to the window. The deep-blue night sky had the first quarter moon hanging on the edge of the western horizon, not far from setting.
