Chapter 61: Chapter 61: Like or Dislike_1

As Qin Sisi spoke, she couldn’t help but laugh, yet ultimately she sighed deeply, "This is what you call reaping what you sow, right?" Those who do evil cannot live well eventually.

Then Qin Sisi realized that the bloody corpse that was originally sprawled on the bed had also disappeared. It seed like what Ye You had previously said was true: after a soul has scattered, both the soul and body will completely disappear. From then on, through endless lives and cycles of reincarnation, this person and this soul will never reappear.

That’s for the best, to prevent more harm from a reincarnated scumbag.

Although the events this evening were a bit complicated, they were resolved quite quickly. When Qin Sisi returned ho with Ye You, the invisibility bubble’s effective ti had just expired, which was perfect timing.

Qin Sisi had taken a shower, put on her long-sleeve pajamas and was ready to sleep, only to find Ye You poised at the edge of the bed. Thinking of Ye You’s inappropriate behaviour in front of Da Hua earlier, Qin Sisi felt so embarrassnt.

So Qin Sisi sat down and said abruptly, "You need to sleep on the sofa."

Ye You raised his head and blinked his purple eyes, "Why?"

"No reason." Qin Sisi pouted, turning her head to one side in a sowhat haughty manner.

After waiting for a long ti and noticing that Ye You didn’t respond or move, Qin Sisi said, "if you won’t go, then I will."

As Qin Sisi attempted to stand and leave, Ye You suddenly hooked his claw around her arm and gently said, "Sisi, I apologize. If you dislike it, I won’t act that way in the future."

Qin Sisi felt a slight shiver in her heart, she montarily didn’t know how to respond.

Did she like it? She couldn’t articulate it, but she definitely didn’t dislike it. She was utterly disgusted when Wang Ji’an casually placed his hand on her shoulder and Xiao Liu gave her a small hug. However, Ye You’s occasional closeness didn’t make her feel repulsed. Instead, she felt a small hint of shyness and pleasure.

Seeing that Qin Sisi didn’t speak for a while, Ye You gently turned Qin Sisi’s body to face him. Qin Sisi was surprised, she didn’t expect Ye You, who was in his cat form, to possess such strength.

Ye You quietly gazed at Qin Sisi for a mont, then asked gently, "Is this okay?"

Qin Sisi was deeply affected by the gentle concern in Ye You’s eyes. His purple eyes seed to possess a magical quality that was irresistible.

Qin Sisi’s cheeks were tinged with a touch of blush as she timidly lowered her head, and her forehead brushed against Ye You’s furry head. There was a soft, ticklish sensation that blocked her train of thought.

Ye You chuckled lightly and said, "If you don’t say anything, it ans you agree."

"I..." Qin Sisi was stunned. While she thought to put on a disgruntled expression, the corners of her mouth twitched, her smile slightly showing.

Seeing this, the eyes of Ye You also showed a lively sparkle. Seeing Qin Sisi’s unconsciously revealed true affection, he seized the opportunity to ask softly, "So tell ... do you like

that way?"

Qin Sisi’s heart skipped a beat and she stamred in response: "You... I... it’s very late, I’m going to sleep now."

After saying this, Qin Sisi quickly lay down, pulling the covers over her body, including her head. Only after performing these actions did she finally let out a sigh of relief under the covers. But her heart continued its wild thumping rhythm.

Ye You looked at Qin Sisi, who was covered from head to toe, and a wide smile spread across his face. However, worry soon crept into his eyes. He looked up at the sparse stars in the sky and let out a soft sigh.

The next day, Ye You sent two cats to track Yu Ping and find out her ho address. On the other hand, Ye You also assigned a task to Qin Sisi.

"To sell it?" Qin Sisi asked in confusion, glancing at Ye You before looking back at the mahogany-colored Buddha beads in her hand.

"Since it’s a powerful artifact, why don’t we keep it on hand? It might be useful!" The golden glow that these Buddha beads emitted when they ca into contact with the ghost the night before left a deep impression on Qin Sisi.

Ye You explained, "Although it is a good artifact, it still falls short compared to your mahogany bracelet. There’s no use in keeping it. You’re short on money right now, it might be best to sell it."

After thinking about it, Qin Sisi agreed with Ye You’s reasoning and decided to sell.

Therefore, Qin Sisi and Ye You went to the antique market together. Qin Sisi had never been there before and was filled with curiosity at the sight of the ancient, leisurely streets and quaint shops. On the other hand, Ye You seed familiar with the place and pointed out different shops and roads to Qin Sisi.

Qin Sisi found it strange at first until she saw the mahogany bracelet on her wrist and realized that this bracelet was acquired by Ye You from the antique market. Although he had made it sound easy, finding such a powerful yet overlooked treasure was definitely not a simple task.

Thinking of this, Qin Sisi rembered sothing and said to Ye You, "After selling the Buddha beads, lets also pay for the bracelet."

Ye You looked at her briefly. Qin Sisi thought he might refuse, but Ye You simply said, "If it makes you happy."

A smile, brilliant as sunlight, blood on Qin Sisi’s lips. She gently ran her hand over Ye You’s silky soft fur.

Ye You rested quietly against Qin Sisi, his head on her chest, listening to the rhythm of her heartbeat. If it made you happy, how could I care about such small sums of money? I just don’t want you to struggle or feel aggrieved.

Following Ye You’s instructions, Qin Sisi stepped into an antique shop called "Ju Ya Zhai". The red and black sign was classy and traditional. The interior was lined with redwood cabinets of various sizes, filled with exquisite and modest wood carvings and jade artefacts. Below were transparent glass counters displaying smaller items like bracelets, wooden combs, and Buddha pendants.

In the middle of the shop was a red Eight Immortals Table surrounded by four chairs of the sa color and material. A man in his forties wearing glasses sat on one of the chairs reading a newspaper, which seed to be a less common sight in recent years.

The man put down his newspaper and stood up, greeting Qin Sisi with a smile as she entered, "Miss, what are you looking for?"

Qin Sisi returned a polite smile and replied, "Hello, sir. I have an item that I’d like you to appraise."

Upon hearing this, the shop owner’s professional instincts kicked in as he took a good look at Qin Sisi. Although her age and attire didn’t seem to fit a typical antique aficionado, as a business veteran, he knew that appearances could be deceptive, especially in an antique market.
