Chapter 59: Chapter 59: The Revenge of the Orange Cat_1

Qin Sisi couldn’t understand their conversation. Seeing them ow back and forth, she thought they were discussing sothing important. Finally, she said, "We should get going. Please, take your seats."

Ye You glanced at Qin Sisi, an unspoken complaint forming in his heart. When it was just the two of them, Qin Sisi never made a point to remind him to sit properly before take-off. Why was she suddenly so considerate now that Da Hua was with them? Unhappy, Ye You dropped his head and gently bit Qin Sisi’s soft earlobe.

Startled by Ye You’s sudden action while she was focused on preparing for flight, Qin Sisi cried out in alarm, embarrassed and annoyed, she turned to Ye You and demanded, "What are you doing?"

Feigning innocence, Ye You maintained eye contact with the path ahead, casually waving it off with, "Let’s go, there’s a long journey ahead of us."

Qin Sisi bit her lip, reminded herself there was serious business to attend to, and with Da Hua by her side, tried to suppress her complicated feelings. Gathering her focus, she jumped from the window, spreading her colorful Wings of Rainbow, and flew off towards the nocturnal western sky.

Compared to the last ti, Qin Sisi had made improvents both in altitude and speed. In just half an hour, they covered the long distance.

As she retracted her Wings of Rainbow and slowly descended to the ground, an expansive factory appeared before her. Qin Sisi was worried about how to find a person’s living quarters in such a big place, when suddenly a cat’s cry echoed in the distance.

Quickly rushing towards the source of sound, she saw a calico cat darting out of a corner. The cat owed twice at Qin Sisi’s approach, then turned and ran off along the factory wall.

"Follow it," Ye You commanded. He stretched out his claws and lit the Ziwei Heaven Fire, which illuminated the surrounding area for Qin Sisi.

Qin Sisi briskly followed the cat, taking two turns in the process. The cat stopped in front of a room, owed again, then promptly jumped onto the window sill and then onto the roof, disappearing into the silent night.

Qin Sisi eyed the room, which was a simple construction made of coloured steel tiles, very shoddy, surrounded by stacks of factory materials.

Ye You’s eyes glittered coldly. "This is it."

With the cover of the Invisible Bubble, there was no worry of being seen. Qin Sisi cautiously pushed the door open and entered. Under the illumination of the Ziwei Heaven Fire, she could see various items scattered around in a cramped and disarrayed fashion, emitting a strange odor.

Qin Sisi walked cautiously to the bedside where a man was sound asleep, his deep snores echoing throughout the room. Upon inspection, she saw a man of around fifty with sparse hair, thin build, who bore a striking resemblance to the image Ye You had drawn earlier.

"Is that him?" Qin Sisi asked. Such matters needed careful handling to avoid any mistakes.

"Let

check." Ye You leaped from Qin Sisi’s shoulder onto the bed, softy placing his paw on the man’s forehead. His Magic Power surged in, beginning to extract the man’s mories.

After a while, Ye You withdrew his paw and hopped back onto Qin Sisi’s shoulder, eting the questioning gazes of Qin Sisi and Da Hua with, "That’s him." His voice held a chill.

Da Hua’s brown eyes sparked with anger as she stared furiously at the sleeping man. A low rumble broke from her throat.

Ye You flicked his paw, emanating silvery Magic Power which imbued Da Hua’s body. To the naked eye, Da Hua was quickly magnifying in size, becoming as tall as Qin Sisi’s thigh – a raging lion.

Da Hua lunged at the man on the bed, Killing him instantly – too fast for him to even open his eyes. His life ended with the sharp bite from Da Hua’s fangs.

Still, Da Hua seed unsatisfied, ripping and shredding the still-warm corpse with her open mouth. Appalled, Qin Sisi averted her gaze, feeling no sympathy for such an evil man. He deserved his fate.

Once the corpse was virtually unrecognizable, Da Hua finally backed off, panting heavily but still unsatisfied, she returned to Qin Sisi’s side.

With a flick of his paw, Ye You withdrew the Magic Power that he had imbued into Da Hua, and released Xiao Dan’s ghost from his Portable Space.

A ghostly figure took shape mid-air and gently landed onto the ground. Looking a bit lost, Xiao Dan cautiously inspected her surroundings; suddenly, she recoiled with fear – "There’s sothing over there, it’s powerful and I dare not approach it."

Da Hua tensed up, ready to leap forward and inspect, but was stopped by Ye You, "Let

handle the rest. Take her away."

Da Hua glanced at the trembling Xiao Dan and nodded. She then jumped into the arms of Xiao Dan, soothingly saying, "Don’t be afraid. It’s over now. Let’s go."

"Go where?" Xiao Dan asked Da Hua, uncertain.

Da Hua playfully licked Xiao Dan’s pale cheek, her paws hugging Xiao Dan’s thin neck tightly, whispering, "Give your Soul Power to them. In a hundred years, we will et again, Xiao Dan. Rember ."

Xiao Dan tightly hugged Da Hua, sobbing, "I will rember you, I definitely will."

Ye You shot two thin beams of light from his paw into their mouths, making them take the Spirit Gathering Pill. Then, the immaculate white Spirit Conversion Bottle was unveiled, floating calmly in mid-air.

The bodies of Da Hua and Xiao Dan gradually blurred, ultimately transforming into soft blue and yellow lights. These columns of light coiled around each other, intertwined tightly, and eventually flowed into the Spirit Conversion Bottle in the air.

Finally, all light disappeared and the ssy room was quiet once more. Only a small flicker of Ziwei Heaven Fire danced on Ye You’s claw.

Qin Sisi watched as Da Hua and Xiao Dan disappeared, feeling a sense of sorrow. All she could do was hope for their wishes to co true after the trials they had gone through.

Just as she was absorbed in her thoughts, an irate, hoarse voice echoed around the room, "What just happened? Why am I floating?"

Who else could be in the room?

Startled, Qin Sisi looked up to find a familiar figure floating toward her – an elderly skinny man in his fifties with sparse hair, ordinary features, simply wearing underwear, and exhibiting a sleazy and vulgar air.

Wasn’t this the guy who was just sleeping in the bed, the murderer of Xiao Dan? But...

Temporarily countering a jarring chill, Qin Sisi froze on the spot. He was dead, right? How did he co back to life? What was going on?
