Chapter 501: Chapter 501: Sisi’s Battle with the Captain_1

The captain hadn’t expected his own move to be reflected back at him, causing his face to change color as his eight-limbed body swiftly floated upwards.

Seeing his two dangling legs about to be swallowed by the black smoke, the captain quickly moved them, his legs disconnecting from his thighs and floating upward, moving parallel to his thighs to avoid the reflected black smoke.

Only once the black smoke’s attack passed did the two little legs return to their original position.

Qin Sisi was secretly amazed. This was the first ti she had seen such a tactic. The eight limbs could act as a single body or function independently. It was a grotesque sight, but its flexibility was indeed flawless.

Though the captain had deftly evaded the reflected skill, the two headless ghosts behind him were not so lucky.

One of them frantically dodged left and right and barely escaped, while the other, a little slower, retreated a few steps but was still engulfed by the captain’s black smoke, instantly vanishing. It probably t the sa fate as its previous companions - their souls scattered!

Seeing his own awe-inspiring move not only failing to defeat the opponent but also hurting his own side, the captain cried out in anger. However, fearing that his long-range attack would be reflected back again, he didn’t dare to act rashly.

After a brief mont of thought, the captain raised his arm, and a shiny large blade appeared in his hand.

If long-range attacks didn’t work, he would go for close combat.

The captain, wielding the large blade, swung at Qin Sisi.

Ye You was about to make a move, but Qin Sisi pushed him aside, saying hastily, "I’ll do it."

As she spoke, she raised Divine Dog’s Fury in one hand while secretly gathering magic power in the other, ready to release a fireball at any mont, charging towards the captain.

When Ye You had used the Water Light Shield earlier, Qin Sisi clearly noticed his body trembling. Considering his severe injuries, she was worried that intense fighting would exacerbate them, so she pushed him aside.

anwhile, she wanted to test her own combat strength. She knew that if she was in danger, Ye You would certainly intervene, so she had no worries.

Ye You was montarily stunned, then quickly understood Qin Sisi’s intention. His eyes flickered a few tis, but he didn’t step forward to stop her. Instead, he watched closely as Qin Sisi engaged in close combat with the captain.

With the enhancent of the Magic Source, Qin Sisi’s movents beca increasingly agile. She adeptly dodged the onslaught of the large blade while searching for opportunities to attack the captain with Divine Dog’s Fury.

However, the captain indeed had so skills. He could sense the power of the black long whip and firmly avoided its contact with his body.

Every ti Divine Dog’s Fury struck, he was able to deflect it with his large blade. Despite the whip’s tip coming close to the captain’s body following its spinning trajectory, his freely moving limbs ensured that Divine Dog’s Fury could never touch him.

Compared to the captain, Qin Sisi’s agility and stamina were lacking. Her repeated attacks had no effect as she dodged the captain’s large blade. She was already beginning to feel exhausted.

"Fireball Technique!" Since Divine Dog’s Fury couldn’t harm the captain, Qin Sisi decided to concentrate on using her well-practiced fire magic.

The captain sneered, swirled his large blade and deflected the fireball that Qin Sisi had fired, causing it to strike the wall.

Qin Sisi refused to give up, summoning all her magic power to relentlessly fire fireballs at the captain.

However, most of these fireballs were blocked by the captain’s large blade. Any that reached his limbs were dodged as the limb moved on its own. In the end, all fireballs either hit the wall or fell to the floor.

Qin Sisi was now panting heavily, her spiritual power nearly exhausted while the captain defended with ease, showing no sign of stress.

Even though under Qin Sisi’s barrage of fireballs, the captain was too preoccupied with defense to counterattack. But if this went on much longer, she would eventually run out of energy, and then the captain would seize the opportunity to overwhelm her. She was bound to lose.

Qin Sisi sighed inwardly. She still lacked enough strength! But having held out for so long was not all in vain. At least she had depleted much of the captain’s spiritual power which would make Ye You’s task easier next.

Just as she was about to retire from the battlefield to let Ye You take over, she suddenly heard him call out loudly, "Sisi!"

When Qin Sisi turned around, she saw Ye You flick a paw, releasing a green vine. The vine shot towards one of the captain’s legs.

At first, the captain didn’t take it seriously, manipulating his leg to dodge the vine’s attack.

But the vine Ye You released was also mobile, and even more flexible, relentlessly chasing after the captain’s leg.

Before long, beads of sweat appeared on the captain’s forehead.

Ye You’s eyes flashed, and he tossed the lighting Ziwei Heaven Fire onto the wall with a flick of his other paw. The wall imdiately ignited with purple flas.

The paw that Ye You had freed imdiately released another vine, chasing after the captain’s other leg.

Unable to multitask, the captain dodged Qin Sisi’s fireballs while also controlling his legs to evade Ye You’s vines. He was overwheld and couldn’t manage both ends.

Not much later, one of his legs was entwined by Ye You’s vine and immobilized.

Understanding, Qin Sisi imdiately launched a fireball at that leg, and the captain, occupied with dodging Ye You’s other vine, failed to pay attention.

The entangled leg was directly hit by Qin Sisi’s fireball.

Although the fire released by Qin Sisi wasn’t a Unique Fire, the fla, which was infused with magic power, was much more powerful than ordinary fire. The captain’s leg instantly erupted in flas.

The captain couldn’t help but roar in anger. As he tried to free his leg, another one got entangled.

At the sa ti, Ye You’s vine had already let go of the burning leg and began chasing one of the captain’s large thighs.

The captain had no choice but to abandon his rescue effort and quickly focus his mind on protecting his thigh.

Taking advantage of the situation, Qin Sisi launched another fireball at the captain’s other entangled leg. Just like before, this leg also burst into flas, turning to ashes with its brother.

The captain, having lost two limbs in a row, finally grew anxious. But the more anxious he was, the more chaotic his mind beca, making it harder for him to control his dispersed limbs.

In close cooperation between Qin Sisi and Ye You, the captain’s two large thighs were also turned into ashes.

When Ye You’s two vines began chasing the captain’s two arms, he was filled with intense fear.

Without legs, he could still float in the air, but without arms, he would completely lose his ability to fight, only left with the option of being exterminated.
