As Qin Sisi looked at the yellow cat, it seed to sense her goodwill, and led the way downstairs with a lively spirit.
Before long, Qin Sisi ca back carrying two kittens with white bellies and legs and yellow stripes on their backs, followed by Yellow Cat and his wife.
When Qin Sisi entered through the door, she glanced at Ye You with a complex expression.
Ye You was still puzzled by Qin Sisi’s look when he spotted the white cat standing next to the yellow cat. His expression froze montarily.
The white cat was Yellow Cat’s wife, the one who once confessed her love to Ye You.
Compared to Ye You’s surprise, the white cat seed quite composed. She greeted Ye You sweetly then rubbed herself against her husband in a flirtatious manner.
As Qin Sisi cleared her throat softly, she held the two kittens and led the adult cats to the empty room she had prepared for them.
She placed the kittens on the bed, brought them so food, and then gently closed the door.
In the living room, Ye You lay on the sofa with his eyes closed in ditation.
She sneakily moved closer to Ye You and sat by his side, grinning at him.
Ye You opened his eyes and asked, "What’s so funny?"
With a look of apparent concern, she teased, "Your forr admirer is now a wife and a mother. Do you feel a bit regretful?"
Ye You’s gaze darkened, and his tone took a fiercer edge, "Qin Sisi, do you want to sleep tonight?"
Seeing Ye You’s fierce gaze, Qin Sisi shrank back a little, "I was only joking."
Ye You lood over her and said in a low voice, "Do you think I can’t do anything to you?"
A chill ran down Qin Sisi’s spine. She retreated further and asked timidly, "What do you want to do?"
Ye You moved even closer, his paw resting on her shoulder as he whispered sothing on her ears.
Qin Sisi’s face turned fiery red almost imdiately. She pushed Ye You away and reprimanded, "You’re so bad."
Relaxing his stern expression a bit, Ye You warned her with a threatening smile, "Next ti you dare to say sothing like that, I’ll do it again."
She bit her lower lip, her gaze averting Ye You’s. Her heart was a ripple of constant waves, unable to calm down for a long while.
Seeing Qin Sisi’s flustered and shy reaction, Ye You softened up a little. He caressed her head and said, "Alright, let’s get down to business."
"Yellow Cat has brought to us two pieces of information. First, there’s an old apartnt in the south of the city. Apparently, a rich man lived there a few decades ago, but after him, the tenants have reported hearing a woman singing."
"It’s possible that it’s a ghost. But we will only know for sure after we go and investigate. Even if there is a ghost, since it has been so long, it should still be there, so there is no hurry."

Yellow Cat said that one night, it saw a middle-aged woman lead a little girl dressed in red into the park. The woman left the girl on a bench and left on her own.

Qin Sisi did not like Ye You’s plan, "So we’re just supposed to wait? Wait for her to make another move, killing another innocent girl?"
