Having tad the ghosts of Da Zhuang and Liang Jiuni, Qin Sisi returned to her parents’ graves to bow in farewell. She then summoned the Wings of Rainbow and, concealed by an Invisible Bubble, she flew with Ye You to S City.
A new moon shone, reflecting on the frosty earth.
The moonlight was hazy, the snow color light, in the dark places without light, who knows how many secrets are hidden.
After an hour and a half of flight, Qin Sisi and Ye You returned ho.
After removing her cotton boots and coat and washing up, Qin Sisi fell weary onto the bed holding Ye You.
Although tired and sleepy, Qin Sisi couldn’t help but say, "Da Zhuang is so good to his wife!"
Ye You, lying next to Qin Sisi, his purple eyes unblinkingly watching her, his deep voice with a hint of allure, "Am I not good to you?"
Qin Sisi paused, bit her lip shyly, she avoided Ye You’s gaze and deliberately lightly said, "It’s okay."
Ye You raised an eyebrow, "What does ’okay’ an?"
Qin Sisi was a bit wishy-washy, she replied, "Just... a little bit."
"What’s missing?" Ye You stubbornly pursued.
Qin Sisi, who was originally facing Ye You, tired of his incessant questioning, she rolled over to lie flat, firmly closed her eyes and said, "I’m so tired, I’m going to sleep."
But Ye You wouldn’t let it go. He lightly jumped over to Qin Sisi, laid down on her chest, his fluffy head rubbed against her chin, and he softly said, "Tell , what’s missing, I’ll change."
Qin Sisi’s heart skipped a beat, her breath quickened a notch, she paused for a mont before replying, "Nothing, I was joking, you go to sleep."
With his love so near, Ye You wouldn’t let go so easily. He chuckled lightly, a mischief flickered in his eyes. After lingering on Qin Sisi’s delicate neck and soft lips for a mont, he reluctantly let go.
Qin Sisi’s cheeks were flushed as she adjusted her bedding, stealing a glance at Ye You before turning her back to him, closing her eyes.
"Sisi, if I ever do sothing that’s not good in the future, you must tell ," Ye You’s deep voice ca from behind, like a gently rippling spring.
"Mmm," Qin Sisi responded quietly. Even though her face was still flushed from embarrassnt, her tired body quickly drifted into sleep.
When they went to bed, it was already the early morning hours, they wanted to sleep late, but early in the morning, they were awakened by a ’ow’ and the sound of sothing hitting the glass.
Ye You also opened his eyes, their eyes t, both were a bit bemused.
However, they quickly rembered sothing, their eyes lighting up.
Qin Sisi hurriedly got out of bed, rushed to the window, and pulled back the heavy curtains.
As expected, on the narrow outside window sill, there was a yellow cat owing.
Qin Sisi recognized the cat. It had been one of several cats that had helped them capture the ghost of Zhuang Qin.
The weather outside was very cold, and Qin Sisi could see that the cat was shivering slightly.
She quickly opened the window, brought the yellow cat in, and took it straight to the living room. She placed it on the sofa, then brought so ham sausage for it to eat.
The room was warr, and after the yellow cat had eaten a bit, it seed to perk up.
At this point, Ye You nonchalantly walked up to it.
The yellow cat imdiately jumped off the sofa and bowed to Ye You, owing as though it were telling him sothing.
After the yellow cat had finished speaking, Ye You hesitantly said to Qin Sisi, "It says the weather has been very cold recently and it has been snowing. So of their companions have frozen to death. There are four of them in their family now, they’re asking if we can shelter them for a while. They’ll leave when the weather warms up."
Ye You inquired Qin Sisi’s opinion, he didn’t really care, but he didn’t know if Qin Sisi was willing to take in four stray cats.
Without hesitation, Qin Sisi said, "Sure, don’t we have a spare room? They helped us at one point, let’s consider it a payback."
With Qin Sisi’s approval, Ye You, after so consideration, addressed the yellow cat using the cat language, "In return for helping you, you should do sothing for us, right?"
The yellow cat nodded imdiately, "Yes, yes, I understand. In fact, I’ve already gathered so information, and I’ve co looking for you twice, but you were not ho. I finally see you today, so I’ll give you the clues now."
Only then did Ye You nod in satisfaction, he pointed to the door of the empty room, telling the yellow cat they could live there.
After the yellow cat reported to Ye You the information about the ghosts that it knew, Ye You allowed the yellow cat to bring its family over. He also made an agreent with the yellow cat that it could reside in the empty room, and should not interfere with their normal lives.
The yellow cat agreed and thanked Ye You, then jumped out the window to fetch his wife and child.
Based on the yellow cat’s behaviour, Qin Sisi had guessed what was happening. She asked Ye You, "Do we need to prepare so cat-specific items for them?"
Ye You shook his head lightly and said calmly, "No need, they can take care of themselves."
Thinking things over, Qin Sisi walked over to the empty room to take a look. There was only a small bed and a wardrobe in the room, with a bamboo mat on the bed.
She returned to her own room to grab a quilt and spread it on the small bed, making sure it was tidy and neat.
