Chapter 368: Chapter 368: Qin Sisi Breaks up the Pair_1

Seeing the surprised look on Ding Jiawang’s face, Qin Sisi knew she was right. Ding Jiawang was indeed bewitched by the female ghost and had no idea that his soul had left his body.

Upon hearing Qin Sisi’s words, Jin Zhu beca nervous, clutching Ding Jiawang’s arm anxiously, "Mr. Ding, don’t listen to her nonsense."

Qin Sisi gave Jin Zhu a cold glance and continued loudly, "Ding Jiawang, look down. Can you see your shadows under the moonlight?"

Jin Zhu flinched and shot Qin Sisi a horrified and resentful look.

Ding Jiawang hesitated, and finally looked down. The moonlight was bright, he and his companion held hands, yet there were no shadows underneath them.

Ding Jiawang blanched with fear. He hurriedly pulled his arm out of Jin Zhu’s embrace, took a few steps backward, and looked at the woman beside him with trembling lips. "You...I..."

Ding Jiawang was so startled that he was incoherent.

Jin Zhu didn’t care about Qin Sisi and moved nearer to Ding Jiawang, "Mr. Ding, I truly love you. You must believe ."

Ding Jiawang looked into Jin Zhu’s tender eyes, his heart softened. After much hesitation, he asked Qin Sisi, "What’s going on?"

Qin Sisi replied solemnly, "What stands here is not the real you but your soul. Your soul has been enticed out of your physical body which is still at your house. If your soul doesn’t return to your body soon, in seven days your body will die. You will beco like her, a wandering ghost."

"G...ghost?" Ding Jiawang shuddered and backed away fearfully, "You...are a ghost?"

Jin Zhu, having her true identity exposed by Qin Sisi, glared at Qin Sisi angrily but remained silent.

"How could she have no shadow if she’s not a ghost?" Qin Sisi reminded while pointing to Jin Zhu’s hairstyle and clothes, "Do they look like sothing from our era?"

Ding Jiawang finally snapped out of it. Overco with fear, he ran away from Jin Zhu towards Qin Sisi.

"Mr. Ding, how could you be so cruel?" Jin Zhu cried behind him. Her quiet and sad voice sounded like a hellish death knell in Ding Jiawang’s ears, making him hasten his steps.

However, he didn’t get far before a white ribbon chased from behind and wrapped him up in no ti.

The other end of the ribbon was in Jin Zhu’s hand. She looked desolate as she yanked Ding Jiawang back to her side with a jerk.

Jin Zhu raised her soft, delicate palm, gently stroked Ding Jiawang’s face, and softly said, "Mr. Ding, this hairpin of mine that you picked up is a symbol of destiny. You can’t escape it. You must stay by my side."

Ding Jiawang was pale with fear. He threw his head back and shouted to Qin Sisi, "Help! Save ! I don’t want to die."

Qin Sisi looked stern. She walked up with a cold expression. It seed the female ghost wouldn’t give up unless forced to, so she decided to rescue Ding Jiawang by force.

"Let him go!" Qin Sisi commanded, pointing the Divine Dog’s Fury at the female ghost, Jin Zhu.

"Why are you trying to break us up?" Jin Zhu looked deeply sad.

Jin Zhu frowned as if she and Ding Jiawang were a truly devoted couple, and Qin Sisi was the evil Fa Hai, notorious for breaking up lovers.

Qin Sisi was speechless, and said patiently, "Human and ghost belong to different paths. Ding Jiawang is human, you’re a ghost. By forcing him to stay by your side, you’re putting his life in danger."

Jin Zhu lifted her chin and replied sternly, "What difference does life or death make? Ding and I are in love, we’d happily be ghostly lovers, and what’s it to you?"

Was this female ghost blind? Qin Sisi pointed to the trembling Ding Jiawang and asked Jin Zhu, "Are you sure he’s willing?"

Jin Zhu turned her head to Ding Jiawang, cradling his face in her hands. She kissed him gently on the lips and said adoringly, "Mr. Ding, tell them that you’re willing to give up your life and wealth to be with

forever."

Ding Jiawang shook his head vigorously, "No no, I don’t want to, please let

go!"

Jin Zhu’s face changed dramatically. The ribbon tightened around Ding Jiawang’s body, almost leaving him breathless.

Jin Zhu cried out sadly and angrily, "How can you not want to? You picked up my hairpin, it’s our destiny. You’re the gentleman I’ve been waiting for over a hundred years, how can you treat

like this?"

His face turning blue from lack of oxygen, Ding Jiawang couldn’t utter a word; he just kept shaking his head.

"I will return your hairpin on his behalf. Let him go." Qin Sisi offered, pulling out the golden hairpin from her pocket and tossing it to Jin Zhu.

Jin Zhu caught the hairpin and looked at it briefly. However, she put it back in Ding Jiawang’s pocket, saying earnestly, "Mr. Ding, you belong to . I won’t let you go."

Qin Sisi gritted her teeth. This woman was simply unreasonable!

She raised the Divine Dog’s Fury high. The light from the Ziwei Heaven Fire glowed on Qin Sisi’s face, making her look solemn and serious.

Jin Zhu was taken aback and hastily pushed Ding Jiawang aside. She used the ribbon in her hands to block the Divine Dog’s Fury.

However, how could a ghost weapon with little spiritual power stand against a supre magical weapon of Demon Sacred Realm?

The white ribbon disintegrated as soon as it encountered the Divine Dog’s Fury. The pieces scattered and then disappeared into the darkness.

Having destroyed the ribbon in Jin Zhu’s hand, Qin Sisi raised the Divine Dog’s Fury a second ti and swung it in Jin Zhu’s direction.

Unless Jin Zhu learned her lesson the hard way, she wouldn’t stop.

Seeing the Divine Dog’s Fury coming at her, Jin Zhu knew she was in danger and hastily stepped aside.

Her slender and nimble form allowed her to evade the attack.

Qin Sisi pressed her advantage, took a few quick steps forward, and again raised the Divine Dog’s Fury.

This ti though, Jin Zhu wasn’t going to dodge. Instead, she rushed towards Ding Jiawang, hugged him, and cried, "Mr. Ding, I’m afraid I’m going to leave you first. If there’s a next life, please don’t let

down again!"

Jin Zhu knew she was no match for Qin Sisi. But she chose to die rather than to let Ding Jiawang go, even if it ant her soul would scatter and die for her lover.

Looking at Jin Zhu, who had been waiting for hundreds of years only to find a man who did not love her and yet was willing to die for him, Qin Sisi ultimately if slowly, lowered her Divine Dog’s Fury.
