Startled, Chen Yan finally realized that Qin Sisi was indeed remarkable.

Qin Sisi deliberately ignored Chen Yan’s surprised expression, and asked, "Was the man just now Chen Gang?"

Chen Yan gritted her teeth and answered, "Yes, I would recognize him even as ashes."

Qin Sisi glanced at the room where Chen Gang had entered, musing quietly, "I wonder if Liu Yuhua is inside?"

Chen Yan’s expression darkened further, she murmured, "Before I was trapped by the peachwood stake, they were together every night. I don’t know what happened after."

After a pause, Chen Yan lifted her head towards the house and coldly stated, "Whether she’s inside or not, wouldn’t we find out by just going in and having a look?"

Upon finishing, Chen Yan turned around, preparing to drift into the house.

"Wait." Qin Sisi stopped her and raised the cara that she had just taken from Ye You, saying to Chen Yan, "You wanted to expose them to the whole village, didn’t you? Let’s use this then."

Chen Yan’s eyes lit up, a cold smile appeared on her face as she took the cara. She muttered to herself, "Good, let the whole village see the shaful faces of this adulterous couple."

Cara in hand, Chen Yan, face grim, floated into the house.

Qin Sisi, lowering her head, asked Ye You, "You were forward-thinking, having bought the cara in advance."

When Ye You had told Qin Sisi to buy a cara during the day, Qin Sisi was a little puzzled about its use. Now, she finally understood why.

Ye You let out a soft laugh, saying, "She has a bone-deep hatred for her husband and her best friend next door. She definitely wants to expose their affair to everyone. A cara is the best tool for this."

Qin Sisi silently nodded, lifting her head to look at the house, unsure whether Chen Yan would be able to accomplish her goal tonight.
