Chapter 350: Chapter 350: The Female Ghost Under the Peach Wood Nail_1
After getting off at the train station in this town, Qin Sisi took the public bus towards C City.
When she arrived in C City, it was still before noon, Qin Sisi found a fast food restaurant and filled her stomach with Ye You, then she dialed Mi Xian’s number.
Mi Xian was very delighted with Qin Sisi’s call. When he found out that Qin Sisi wanted Master Huang’s contact information, he imdiately sent Master Huang’s phone number to Qin Sisi.
Qin Sisi thanked Mi Xian and imdiately dialed Master Huang’s number.
It was just a coincidence that Master Huang’s phone was lost in the vegetable field in Mixian Village. After he got ho, he rushed to replace his SIM card and bought a new phone. Just as he was done, Qin Sisi’s call ca in.
After the call connected, Qin Sisi introduced herself, and upon hearing this, Master Huang greeted her respectfully, "Oh, Ms. Qin, Master Qin, what brings you to ?"
Qin Sisi laughed to herself and said directly: "I rember you ntioned that I had once helped a family by nailing a peach wood nail into their graveyard."
Master Huang responded, puzzled: "Yes, that did happen. It was successful, that family stopped having nightmares, and their child stopped crying."
Qin Sisi said calmly, "Take
to that tomb."
Master Huang, confused, said, "Ah," and asked, "Master Qin, what do you plan to do?"
Qin Sisi replied firmly, "You just need to show
the way. You don’t need to worry about the rest."
"Alright then." Master Huang agreed reluctantly. While he was unwilling, he had seen Qin Sisi’s abilities and was sowhat afraid, he dared not disobey.
Master Huang asked Qin Sisi to wait for him near the bus station, and he would soon drive over to pick her up.
Qin Sisi agreed and then hung up the phone to wait on the side of the road. She was surprised that Master Huang actually had a car.
A half an hour later, Master Huang finally arrived, and it was then that Qin Sisi saw that his car was a jujube red tricycle.
Master Huang, laughing like a Buddha, waved his plump hand to greet Qin Sisi.
Qin Sisi walked over, with a wry smile on her face, asked, "This is your vehicle?"
Master Huang responded sheepishly, "Yes, it may not be high class, but it’s still a vehicle!"
Qin Sisi was lost for words, and simply held Ye You as they sat in the back of the vehicle. She and Ye You exchanged a look, each with a sense of helplessness.
Then, Qin Sisi rode on Master Huang’s tricycle for over twenty miles, first on wide main roads, then on reasonably flat country roads, and finally on bumpy dirt roads.
Just as Qin Sisi thought she was about to throw up, Master Huang finally stopped by a field and breathed a sigh of relief, "We’ve arrived."
Qin Sisi also exhaled longly, holding Ye You with one hand while using the other to steady herself as she jumped off the tricycle.
There were four or five graves spread out in the field, both large and small, possibly due to different burial tis.
Master Huang pointed to a relatively new grave not far away and said, "That’s the grave."
Qin Sisi stomped her foot hard to shake off the numbness in her legs, then followed Master Huang towards the grave.
There were no tombstones on the grave. Qin Sisi asked, "Who is buried here?"
Master Huang replied, "A young wife from this village."
A young wife?
Qin Sisi pondered for a mont before asking, "How did she die? Did she fall ill or was it an accident like a car crash?"
Master Huang frowned, "I believe she had a botched abortion... I’m not too sure about the specifics."
Qin Sisi also frowned slightly and continued, "Was it her family that found you?"
Master Huang nodded, "Yes, it was her husband."
A glint of confusion flashed through Qin Sisi’s face, "But if it was a dical malpractice, wouldn’t her resentnt be directed towards the doctor? Why would she haunt her husband and child?"
Master Huang stamred, "How would I know?"
Qin Sisi couldn’t help but glare at Master Huang, scolding, "You knew nothing and yet you nailed a peach wood nail into the grave. What if she died wronged?"
Master Huang shrunk back and replied timidly, "Regardless of how they died, they are all ghosts, right? We are asked to exorcise the ghost so that the family can live in peace. I didn’t do anything wrong!"
Qin Sisi said angrily, "What if the ghost is good and the humans are bad?"
Master Huang gathered up his courage and said, "Bad people are still people, they can pay."
Qin Sisi was so angry that she couldn’t speak. She glared at him, and Master Huang noticed that she seed genuinely angry. He lowered his head and stepped back, not daring to say anything else.
However, upon further thought, Master Huang had limited skills and was just making a living. He was paid to dispel disasters, from his perspective, he couldn’t be said to be in the wrong.
Qin Sisi sighed and said, "Forget it. Just find the peach wood nails for ."
Master Huang’s eyelids twitched and he asked, "Master Qin, are you planning to remove all the peach wood nails?"
Qin Sisi nodded, "Yes."
Master Huang turned pale with fright and hastily said, "No, you must not. The ghost inside already harbors resentnt. After being trapped by the peach wood nail for several months, its resentnt will be even stronger. What if..."
Qin Sisi saw Master Huang’s panic and softened her tone to comfort him, "You don’t have to worry. Just help
find the peach wood nails and you can leave. I will handle the ghost."
Master Huang pleaded again, "Master Qin, please think this through again."
Qin Sisi confidently said, "I’ve thought it through. I must et this ghost."
Seeing Qin Sisi’s firm attitude, Master Huang had no choice but to close his mouth.
Master Huang walked around the grave a few tis, at the four directions of southeast, northwest, he marked a few small holes with stones and told Qin Sisi, "These are the positions of the four peach wood nails. They were nailed quite deep, you will need help to pull them out."
Qin Sisi looked at Ye You. Ye You owed lightly, aning, "No need."
Qin Sisi nodded slightly and said to Master Huang, "No need. I have my own way. You can go now."
Master Huang was eager to leave, but now that Qin Sisi was asking him to, he hesitated for a mont and asked reluctantly, "Master Qin, are you sure you can handle it alone? Do you really need help?"
Qin Sisi blinked, looked at Master Huang and asked tentatively, "Would you like to stay and help? Aren’t you afraid that the female ghost will take revenge on you when she cos out?"
Master Huang shivered and waved his hands quickly, saying, "No, no, no, I have decided to retire from this world and no longer interfere with the affairs of the underworld. I have already bought several sacks of soybeans, I am going ho to make tofu."
