Chapter 239: Chapter 239: A Drama of Three Won_1
For most people, a day passes by in a blink of an eye.
But at this mont, Shao Fangfang was growing restless, each minute and second seed to pass agonizingly slowly.
With an hour left until the end of the workday, Shao Fangfang’s mind was already filled with images of Gu Liang accompanying her to Guiyuan Building later.
Gem-encrusted jewelry, fine clothing, branded handbags...
He’d generously splurge on her, drawing the envious gazes of the salespeople.
While Shao Fangfang was daydreaming, Jiao Yan had just gone to the bathroom.
She freshened up her appearance in the mirror—the beauty she relied on for her living could never be neglected.
Suddenly, Jiao Yan felt a wave of dizziness wash over her, causing the reflection in the mirror to blur.
Jiao Yan instinctively leaned against the washbasin as she slowly lowered her head.
When she lifted her head again, her beautiful eyes appeared less flirtatious but now carried a touch of coldness.
"Jiao Yan" looked at herself in the mirror, and, satisfied, softly touched her hair, revealing an eerie, cold smile.
anwhile, over at Guiyuan Building, the highest-end ga-store in S City, Mrs. Gu was shopping with two of her best friends. They had already bought lots of stuff and were chatting away rrily.
Suddenly, Mrs. Gu’s phone rang, "The most romantic thing I can think of..."
"Hello..." Mrs. Gu answered the call.
A cold voice from the other end of the phone rang out, "Mrs. Gu, don’t you feel lonely having fun by yourself every day?"
Slling sothing fishy, Mrs. Gu asked gruffly, "What do you an by that?"
The voice on the phone continued, "I an nothing. I just feel sorry for you. You’re all alone while your husband is having fun with other won in the office!"
"That’s bullshit!" Mrs. Gu spat out angrily.
The woman on the other end of the line responded calmly, "Is it bullshit or not? Why don’t you co over and see for yourself?"
Before Mrs. Gu could say anything else, the call had already been disconnected.
Mrs. Gu’s face paled with rage, her friends quickly expressing their concerns.
Between sobs, Mrs. Gu relayed the contents of the phone call to them. They discussed briefly and hastily decided to go to Gu Liang’s office to catch the mistress.
If it was a rumor, they could put their minds at ease; if Gu Liang did have a mistress, her two friends promised to help Mrs. Gu to let off steam.
Back in the won’s restroom at Gu Liang’s office, Jiao Yan put down her phone, a smug smile on her lips as she anticipated the imminent drama.
Jiao Yan casually picked up a stack of docunts and walked towards Gu Liang’s office. The clicking of her high heels on the hard, polished floor, drew side glances from colleagues.
Gu Liang had just finished processing a large stack of docunts and was feeling a little tired. He was leaning back in his leather chair, rubbing his temples.
Then, a few clear knocks on the door sounded.
"Co in," Gu Liang commanded with a low voice, simultaneously sitting upright. He was accustod to maintaining the dignity of a superior in front of his subordinates.
Jiao Yan swayed in lodiously, putting a stack of papers onto the desk in front of Gu Liang, her voice as sweet as honey, "President Gu, you need to look at these docunts."
However, Gu Liang’s gaze did not shift towards the docunts. Instead, his eyebrows raised slightly as he asked Jiao Yan, "Is there sothing?"
Jiao Yan’s job didn’t intersect much with Gu Liang, theoretically speaking, there was no need for her to personally deliver any docunts.
Jiao Yan flashed a flirtatious smile, and gliding step by step to the back of Gu Liang’s chair, she began to massage his temples.
Soft fingers accompanying perfectly tid pressures eased the tension in Gu Liang’s mind. He relaxed comfortably against his chair, tilted his head slightly, and went with the flow of Jiao Yan’s movents.
After massaging for a while, Jiao Yan’s delicate fingers started to slide down, unbuttoning Gu Liang’s shirt.
Gu Liang felt agitated, the enticing scent coming from Jiao Yan making it difficult for him to resist.
He pushed her gently, joking with a mischievous smile, "You little demon, go lock the door."
As it was nearly closing ti, there shouldn’t be anyone disturbing him anymore.
Though Gu Liang understood doing such a thing during working hours was risky and could stir up trouble, the strong physical response he had towards this little demon, Jiao Yan, made him eager to vent out his pent up desires.
With a seductive smile, Jiao Yan sauntered over to the door, locking it with a twist. But as she turned back, she quickly unlocked it once again.
Jiao Yan lowered her long eyelashes, hiding the coldness in her eyes. When she looked back at Gu Liang, she resud her delicate and captivating persona and sashayed towards him.
Just as the two started getting into it, Zhu Zihao’s ghost abruptly left Jiao Yan’s body, casting a cold, mocking smile at the entwined couple before passing through the walls without a backwards glance.
Jiao Yan blinked open her eyes, bewildered. She looked at Gu Liang, who was on top of her, confused. She had been in the bathroom just a few monts ago. How did she end up in Gu Liang’s office? And what was happening?
But since they’d already started, she couldn’t randomly stop. She relied on this man above her for her livelihood after all.
Therefore, Jiao Yan quickly dismissed her uncertainties and enthusiastically engaged with Gu Liang.
A sweet-looking young woman with a ponytail knocked on the door of Shao Fangfang’s office, politely saying, "Director Shao, President Gu would like to see you."
Shao Fangfang’s heart leapt with joy, but she kept a calm expression on her face. "Okay, I got it. You can go now."
The young girl left Shao Fangfang’s office, heading down the corridor.
In an empty corner of the corridor, a gust of wind swept across with a rustling sound.
The girl wobbled slightly, her eyes wide and dazed.
What just happened? Why did I get dizzy? Wasn’t I going to get a cup of water? How did I end up here?
Feeling befuddled, she shook her head, swished her ponytail, and quickly walked away.
After hearing the ssage that Gu Liang wanted to see her, Shao Fangfang was grinning from ear to ear. She hastily primped herself in the mirror, tidied her clothes, and then happily strode to Gu Liang’s office in her high heels.
As she approached Gu Liang’s office door, she was about to knock when she suddenly heard a strange sound coming from inside.
Shao Fangfang was puzzled so she pressed her ear to the door for a closer listen, and the noises left her shaking, as if she’d been struck by lightning on a clear day.
Shao Fangfang felt lightheaded, her mind filled with rage as she shoved open the door to Gu Liang’s office.
