Chapter 201: Chapter 201: Hidden Ghost_1

Soone once posted online that they always felt like sothing was watching them when they went to a bathroom at night, which gave them the creeps.

Having surveyed the entire hall without finding any anomalies, there was no choice left but to inspect the washrooms.

Determined, Qin Sisi slowly made her way down the hall, finally locating the washrooms at the northwest corner of the room.

Adjacent to the hall was the washroom area, where entrances to n’s and won’s facilities were on either side, and a long sink with a row of faucets lined the wall.

Seemingly due to long-term disuse, the sink was covered in a thick layer of dust, with rusty faucets.

Of them, one faucet was not tightly closed, releasing drips of water into the sink, producing a manifestly clear "drip-drop" sound in the silent darkness.

Aside from this sound, the only other one was the soft footfall of Qin Sisi’s flat shoes on the floor.

Qin Sisi glanced nonchalantly at the gloomy and capacious washroom, exchanged glances with Ye You, and their eyes simultaneously landed on the wooden door of the won’s washroom.

Since Grandma Chu was referred to as "Grandma," that indicated she was a female, and if she were truly in the washroom, she was more likely to be in the won’s washroom.

Slowly, Qin Sisi approached and pushed open the partially discolored wooden door, which creaked as it swung open.

As the door moved, traces of dust from the top of the door sprinkled down, muddled with a damp, musty sll of the washroom that rushed into her nostrils.

Qin Sisi scrunched her eyebrows, grateful that she hadn’t taken off her mask yet.

Directly opposite the door was a long open area ending in a glass window.

Illuminated by the Ziwei Heaven Fire, Qin Sisi vaguely saw her witch-like figure mirrored in the glass, seeing herself as quite eerie.

To the side, wooden panels divided the area into five small compartnts, each containing a toilet. But at this point, all five compartnt doors were tightly closed, stirring one’s imagination about their contents.

The shape of the long area was clear, revealing nothing unusual, except the secrets possibly concealed behind the five firmly closed toilet doors.

Qin Sisi approached and slowly pushed open the door to the first stall. The soft sound a door makes as it opens caused a hint of nervousness in Qin Sisi’s heart.

However, when the door swung open, other than a dust-covered tank and the toilet, there was nothing else.

Qin Sisi slightly lowered her gaze and moved on to the second door. The situation was the sa as the first stall.

Then the third, the fourth, the fifth...

The five door-closed spaces that appeared mysterious and secretive were eerily empty. Not even a single insect was found, let alone a ghost.

Disappointed and bewildered, Qin Sisi took a few steps back, crossed her arms, leaned back on the wall, and thoughtfully gazed at the ceiling.

Everything seed normal with her warm coat on, but when her head slightly tilted back, her witch’s hat gently touched the wall.

Instantly, an icy chill traveled from her scalp throughout her body.

Startled, Qin Sisis instantly turned and took a few steps back from the toilets, her eyes wide and staring at the wall.

This chill was too strange. Even if it was the middle of winter, even if this place had been vacant for a long ti, a common wall shouldn’t invoke such a feeling.

Ye You noticed the anomaly in Qin Sisi. Jumping from her shoulder, he walked to the edge of the wall and stretched out his paw to lightly touch it, imdiately understanding the situation.

No wonder they had not detected any changes in the air. The powerful ghost had managed to hide its formless spirit within the wall. With no escape of spiritual energy, they naturally couldn’t find any traces in the air.

Ye You snorted lightly and let out a low "ow" next to Qin Sisi’s ear, advising, "Courtesy before force."

Grandma Chu appeared to be highly respected in Ning Yue’s heart, considered an expert among the spirits. Showing her so respect was likely to be more effective than being forceful.

So, Qin Sisi took off her mask and loudly addressed the wall, "Grandma Chu, I, Qin Sisi, have so questions to ask. Please show yourself."

The space echoed with a slight reverberation of Qin Sisi’s voice throughout the entire washroom.

However, after a long wait, there was not a single movent from the wall.

Qin Sisi gave Ye You a sowhat helpless glance.

Ye You’s gaze darkened. If they wouldn’t partake in a toast of goodwill, they would have no choice but to serve a penalty drink.

On Ye You’s cue, Qin Sisi said loudly to the wall, "Grandma Chu, I apologize for this."

As her words fell, Ye You waved his paw and a golden light wave burst forth.

The semicircular light wave radiated rapidly through the air and penetrated the wall opposite them.

In Qin Sisi’s line of sight, the entire wall seed to tremble under the light wave.

In reality, it was the refraction of light in the magic field that deceived the human eye.

After the intense magic fluctuation, a blurry shadow floated out from the wall.

Qin Sisi looked cold, staring unwaveringly at the shadow.

After a mont, the shadow began to clarify, transforming into an elderly woman dressed in deep blue, with weather-beaten features.

The old woman was wearing a deep blue cross-collared jacket and her white hair was plaited into a braid that trailed behind her. A brown walking stick rested in her thin hand.

This pale, shiny walking stick seed to have been fondled regularly, reflecting light brightly.

Her outfit was unusual, indicating that she ca from a ti quite distant from the present.

This must be the Grandma Chu that Ning Yue had referred to.

A small curve lifted the corners of Qin Sisi’s mouth. She declared aloud, "I’m grateful for your willingness to show yourself, Grandma."

Leaning against the wall for support, Grandma Chu sighed, "Young lady, we originally had no quarrel, why must you press

like this?"

Thinking it over, Qin Sisi replied, "Grandma, there’s no need to worry. I’m just asking a few questions. I wouldn’t dream of forcing you."

Grandma Chu gave a cold laugh. "Young lady, you’ve already forced my hand."

Qin Sisi’s face reddened. Indeed, Grandma Chu had plainly shown her intention to hide, but they had forcibly coaxed her out.

Ye You’s violet eyes flickered ominously, while it softly owed next to Qin Sisi’s ear.

Qin Sisi looked towards Grandma Chu and asked aloud, "I simply don’t understand, why would Grandma Chu need to hide away? Are you concealing sothing hard to speak of?"

As Ye You slightly owed, Grandma Chu’s gaze was drawn to it. Thinking back to the magic light wave that had just forced her out of the wall, she was increasingly startled and wary of the cat.

People naturally assud that a witch and a black cat were companions, and that the black cat was the witch’s pet and subordinate. Grandma Chu was no exception.
