Chapter 200: Chapter 200 Black-clad Witch_1
The night deepened, shrouding the earth in darkness. It was December in the solar calendar, and the chill of the night air was getting increasingly intense.
Having experienced falling ill the last ti, Qin Sisi realized that she should bundle up properly when going out at night.
To stay warm, Qin Sisi bought a mask, specifically choosing a black one to match the thermal coat that Ye You had given her.
Furthermore, her head seed cold, so Qin Sisi bought a hat.
She originally wanted to buy a common baseball cap, but she rembered what Ning Hao had once said, that witches on TV always had a black cat.
Thus, a witch and a black cat should be the perfect match.
Qin Sisi flashed a playful grin and bought back a black, pointy witch hat.
At the mont, Qin Sisi, wearing her coat, mask, and the witch hat, had only her bright eyes exposed, like the two brightest stars in the night sky.
The complete black attire, paired with the pointy witch hat, made Qin Sisi look icy cold and mysterious.
A satisfied smile crossed her face. She turned to Ye You and asked, "How do I look?"
A gleam flashed across Ye You’s eyes as he boldly declared, "Excellent, you’re becoming more and more like ."
Qin Sisi pouted, arguing coquettishly, "I’m nothing like you, I’ve always loved black."
Having said that, Qin Sisi turned away a little bashfully, but she had to admit to herself that Ye You was right; she was indeed becoming more like him.
Qin Sisi confidently walked onto the balcony, opened the glass window, and with a forceful kick against the wall, leapt out of the window.
"Wings of Rainbow!"
As Qin Sisi gently commanded, a pair of brightly coloured wings opened behind her. Amid the dark night, it was as though a massive, colourful fla was blazing in mid-air.
Ye You stood on Qin Sisi’s shoulder, silently activating the Invisible Bubble, hiding her and the bright Wings of Rainbow.
Qin Sisi’s flight speed had recently improved. It was now almost as fast as Ning Hao’s driving speed. However, flying presents a straight path, and it bypasses traffic lights, thereby making it much faster than driving.
Forty minutes later, Qin Sisi arrived at the office building.
This was her third visit there. Her previous two visits were for Ning Yue; this ti, it was for the mysterious Grandma Ghost.
According to Ning Yue, Grandma Chu lived on the top floor of the building. Qin Sisi looked up at the building which seed to have about thirty floors.
She had never ascended such heights before, and felt uncertain. However, she was also not willing to take the elevator.
Seeing Qin Sisi’s dilemma, Ye You encouraged, "Give it a try; if you don’t succeed, I’m here for you."
Qin Sisi shot Ye You an appreciative look. He always encouraged her to challenge her limits and stood behind her in protection every ti, allowing her to try fearlessly without any worries.
Taking a deep breath, Qin Sisi piloted her Wings of Rainbow and slowly started to ascend.
"Try manipulating the magic power within you to control the Wings of Rainbow; it’ll be more effective," Ye You softly advised from the side.
Qin Sisi followed his advice, trying to invoke her internal magic power. The Wings of Rainbow evidently felt lighter.
Qin Sisi focused and exerted her full effort to ascend. Seeing that she was nearing the top, she breathed a sigh of relief.
However, this slight let-up resulted in her magic power montarily faltering, leaving the Wings of Rainbow devoid of sustaining strength to support her body.
Qin Sisi stumbled to the side, seemingly about to fall, but she wasn’t scared even in the slightest.
Just as she expected, a semi-transparent silver sphere reliably supported her.
Qin Sisi retracted the Wings of Rainbow, looked at the empty void hundreds of ters below, took a breath, and said, "Thank goodness you’re here."
Ye You chuckled lightly, and said confidently, "I created the problem, so of course it’s up to
to solve it."
Qin Sisi blinked her eyes, feeling that there was more to Ye You’s statent. After so contemplation, she asked, "Am I one of your problems too?"
Ye You let out a sigh, gently kissing Qin Sisi’s ear, he murmured, "You’re sothing I brought upon myself, but you’re not a problem, you’re my blessing."
Qin Sisi lowered her head, her cheeks flushed red beneath her black mask. Nevertheless, a sweet smile appeared on her lips.
The semi-transparent silver sphere quickly arrived at the top floor of the office building. Qin Sisi opened the window and, along with Ye You, jumped in.
It was pitch dark; she could barely see her own hand in front of her.
Ye You recalled the silver sphere and the Invisible Bubble, extending his paw to light the Ziwei Heaven Fire. A small bundle of purple fla danced on the black cat’s paw, appearing magical and eerie.
With the help of the light from the Ziwei Heaven Fire, Qin Sisi cautiously moved ahead.
At first glance, the place did not look like a typical office split into compartnts; instead, it was a spacious hall supported by a few sturdy pillars.
The hall was divided into several areas, each cramd with miscellaneous items, such as cardboard boxes.
This scenario was not unexpected for Qin Sisi.
Before heading here, she had looked up events related to spirits in this office building on the local news site.
As expected, there were quite a few posts about the top floor of this office building being haunted.
In the past, companies that operated here reported hearing strange noises and seeing strange images at night. Employees working late would sotis feel like they were being watched when they went to the restroom, which gave them the chills.
Not just one individual had reported these experiences, causing an uproar amongst all the employees.
So when their lease ended, the company imdiately moved elsewhere.
People had heard about the ghost sightings on the top floor of this building, and no company wanted to rent this floor. The companies leasing the floors beneath agreed to rent this floor for a lower price and use it as a storage facility.
As a storage facility, there was no need for anyone to be there at night. During the day, a few employees would be sent to transport items and nothing unusual would occur.
Qin Sisi walked around the hall while observing the area with the light of the Ziwei Heaven Fire. However, she didn’t notice anything unusual after making a complete round around the hall.
Qin Sisi felt puzzled. Why couldn’t she see or hear anything strange when the employees who had worked here previously reported hearing strange noises and seeing strange images at night?
Qin Sisi stopped in her tracks, lost in thought for a mont, before a location suddenly ca to mind – the restroom.
