Chapter 1360: Chapter 1360: Restoring Human Form
The Dark Witch raised her head, staring blankly at Qin Sisi, the words "continuation of life" caused ripples in her heart like an old well.
Her true form was just a tree, without the ability to bear descendants. To nurture Zi Yu’s life, she expended too much ti and energy, paying a heavy price.
However, Zi Yu was born in human form, possessing the ability to reproduce. If one day he marries and has children, with many little ones calling her "grandma" in sweet tones surrounding her, that would certainly be a very happy scene.
Unfortunately, she realized it too late.
Two lines of murky tears flowed down her wrinkled cheeks; her heart was filled with regret and despair. If she hadn’t been so selfish back then, hadn’t hard Ling Wu, Zi Yu might not have died, and the three of them could have lived happily together, with a multitude of children around them in the future.
Thinking about it now, it’s such a beautiful picture, but now she has nothing, and she will never have it again.
More tragically, such a bleak ending was all caused by her own hands.
The Dark Witch stood up, slowly opening her palm, a small, oval box appeared in her hand.
She walked to Ye You and said in a hoarse voice, "You want the Life Divine Water, don’t you?"
Ye You gazed into her cloudy eyes and nodded in response, "Yes."
The Dark Witch glanced at Qin Sisi and said to Ye You, "I want you to swear by your wife that you will always treat Zi Yu well, and treat the Dark Forest well."
Ye You hesitated and said, "But Zi Yu he..."
The Dark Witch interrupted him, "Just make the oath."
Ye You paused slightly, turned to look at Qin Sisi. He had never intended to do anything harmful to the Dark Forest, but he didn’t want Qin Sisi to suffer negative consequences because of him.
Qin Sisi said proactively, "It’s okay, make the oath. I know that even if she doesn’t ask, you will treat the Dark Forest well in the future."
Ye You gazed deeply at her for a while, then turned to the Dark Witch and said, "I swear by my wife, I will always treat Zi Yu well and treat the Dark Forest well."
The Dark Witch nodded in satisfaction and handed the small, oval box in her palm to Qin Sisi without saying another word, then turned and walked back to the side of the great elm tree.
Ye You quickly took the small box from Qin Sisi’s palm, his heart overflowing with excitent and joy. He opened the box to find a small, blue droplet inside, exuding rich spiritual power, exactly like the droplet Hai Cangming had given Qin Sisi back then.
Ye You was certain this must be the Life Divine Water. A smile appeared on his face as he flicked his fingers, releasing a trace of wind attribute magic power to lift the droplet up gently.
Qin Sisi understood Ye You’s intention and cooperatively opened her mouth.
The blue droplet slowly floated into her mouth, down her throat, and a slight coolness lingered in her throat, refusing to dissipate.
The second Life Divine Water entered her body, and Qin Sisi could feel the sowhat fuzzy magic source becoming clearer, and the magic power she could gather beca much more abundant.
Now, her physical condition had recovered halfway, and their arduous and challenging journey was already halfway successful.
The two stared at each other, overwheld with emotions, though the joyful feelings were more pronounced.
Ye You pulled Qin Sisi tightly into his arms, gently kissing her fluffy forehead.
A mont later, they turned to look at the Dark Witch, regardless, she had given them the Life Divine Water in the end, which counted as a kindness to them in a way.
At this ti, the Dark Witch stood between the great elm tree and the phoenix tree, spreading her arms wide, one palm placed on the great elm, the other placed on the phoenix tree.
Her hunched body seed very small. Her large black robe emitted a dark green glow, the light flowing like water from her body along her arms to the two trees, eventually converging into the trees’ bodies.
Qin Sisi wondered, "What is she doing?"
Ye You pondered briefly and replied, "She should be transferring her spiritual power into Zi Yu and Ling Wu’s bodies."
Qin Sisi looked at the Dark Witch in surprise. Could it be that at the last mont, she had finally awakened?
The surroundings were silent; the people of the Elf Clan remained nearby, watching the Dark Witch’s transformation curiously.
Half an hour later, the Dark Witch’s figure beca more and more translucent. After delivering all her spiritual power into Zi Yu and Ling Wu’s bodies, she vanished forever.
At the sa ti, the elm and phoenix trees glowed with green light, their outlines gradually blurring. Finally, the trees disappeared, transforming into two stationary human figures, one in white and the other in green.
After absorbing the Dark Witch’s millennium-old spiritual power, they were finally able to restore their human forms and continue living as humans.
Zi Yu remained in white clothes like snow, handso and graceful, a refined gentleman, gentle as jade.
Ling Wu’s figure was graceful and elegant, her large, lively eyes akin to dazzling stars in the night sky. She wore a jade green long dress, standing there quietly, her dark green long hair hanging down, truly captivating.
Suddenly reverting to human form, both of them appeared sowhat bewildered, looking around in confusion.
"Zi Yu, is that really you?" Ling Wu, upon seeing Zi Yu’s figure, couldn’t quite believe her eyes.
"Ling Wu, it’s ," Zi Yu replied softly, slowly approaching Ling Wu.
As their eyes t, Ling Wu smiled joyously, tears uncontrollably streaming down. She stepped forward to tightly embrace Zi Yu.
When she was turned into a tree by the Dark Witch, she thought she could never live again, never see Zi Yu again.
Unexpectedly, this opportunity arose, allowing her to return to human form and reunite with Zi Yu.
Zi Yu’s eyes reddened as well, tightly holding Ling Wu.
They had known each other for many years, and although their ti in love wasn’t very long, they both confird in their hearts that the other was their lifelong happiness.
Upon learning that Ling Wu was hard by his mother, he was anguished and overwheld with guilt. He wanted to save Ling Wu, but couldn’t, resorting to accompanying her in life and death, always by her side in another way.
Fortunately, after so much suffering and sorrow, they finally stood before each other safe and sound, with no obstacles, no worries, no concerns.
A love that has endured life and death is stronger than the hardest tal in the world, and even though they were human again, just like the two trees they once were, they would always lean on each other, supporting and entwining closely, never to part.
