Chapter 1313: Chapter 1313 Ghost-Faced Paddle Crab

Qin Sisi touched the soft fur on her body, feeling nothing. While she was puzzled, a string of lodious notes rang in her ears, followed by a prompt sound: "Shrimp Soldier Armor has been bound to your body."

Only then did she feel at ease, thinking to herself that this armor was really nice. Wearing it felt like nothing; it wasn’t uncomfortable nor too heavy to hinder normal movent.

Then, following the earlier prompt, she began searching for the entrance to the next level. The rewards for winning in the Sky Scar Labyrinth were so generous that she definitely wanted to challenge the next level.

But this ti, she found herself in a real secret room. The walls, floor, and ceiling were all smooth without any protrusions or gaps. Where could the entrance be?

Qin Sisi discovered several numbers on the floor: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.

Was it asking to combine numbers? But these numbers could be combined in any way. Without any hints, what kind of combination would be the correct answer?

She frowned, pondering deeply. Suddenly, she wondered why there were seven numbers instead of nine. There are nine single-digit numbers in total, so if numbers were to be combined, all nine should be shown, right?

A clever idea struck her. She humd a sequence according to the musical notes: do re mi fa so la ti do.

That’s right, in music, there are exactly seven notes. Could it be that it’s not about combining or arranging numbers, but instead playing music?

Qin Sisi felt a bit excited and carefully recalled the process of arriving here. Finally, she rembered that when she equipped the Shrimp Soldier Armor, a short piece of music had played in the prompt sound.

She desperately tried to recall and slowly humd that piece of music, forming the music sheet in her mind. Then, following the lody of that short music piece, she stepped on the numbered tiles on the floor in order.

Sure enough, with her actions, beautiful and lodious music echoed from the floor.

Qin Sisi’s eyes lit up, knowing she had guessed correctly, and she happily continued stepping on the notes.

When she stepped on the last note, before the music stopped, Qin Sisi felt a void beneath her feet, and her body surged downward along with the seawater.

Qin Sisi didn’t struggle; she knew she had successfully found the entrance to the second level.

Soon, the light brightened again, and the prompt sound echoed once more: "Welco to the second level, Ghost-faced Crab."

Qin Sisi gripped the short sword in her hand, warily watching her surroundings. At so point, a gigantic crab had stood before her, finally appearing as the boss of the second level.

True to its na, the Ghost-faced Crab had a devil-like face. Its bluish-green shell was covered with slightly lighter bumps, and its small bubble-like eyes were embedded on the bluish-green face. As it opened its mouth, rows of sharp fangs sent chills down one’s spine—a perfect example of what could be called green-faced and sharp-toothed.

In stark contrast, the backside of the Ghost-faced Crab’s hard shell had red-colored bumps, resembling the spots on a ladybug, hence the na "Crab."

This ti, Qin Sisi did not hesitate, seizing the opportunity to raise the short sword infused with magic power to attack the Ghost-faced Crab.

Her short sword was aid directly at the Ghost-faced Crab’s face. Just as it was about to pierce its body, the Ghost-faced Crab suddenly raised two large pincers, clamping onto the incoming short sword.

Its strength was imnse; Qin Sisi couldn’t compete against it.

With a slight exertion by the Ghost-faced Crab, the short sword, made of tal and infused with magic power, surprisingly broke into two useless pieces of scrap tal.

Qin Sisi was startled. The pincers of this Ghost-faced Crab were truly formidable; clearly, she couldn’t engage it in frontal combat.

Thinking this, she discarded the broken half of her short sword and pulled out another short sword from her storage ring, continuing with the earlier tactic.

First, avoid its edge, dodging its powerful attacks, then seize the opportunity to launch a surprise attack from behind.

However, the hard shell of this Ghost-faced Crab was much tougher than the Bird-tail Mantis Shrimp’s shell. Qin Sisi’s nurous swings failed to inflict any damage.

After pondering, Qin Sisi no longer dwelled on this issue. Since the shell of the Ghost-faced Crab was too hard, she decided to start with the softer areas.

In the ti that followed, she targeted the eight legs of the Ghost-faced Crab, which should be the areas with the weakest defensive power on its body.

She consud a Spirit Revitalizing Pill, took a deep breath, and continued using the Magic Lightning Shield to block the Ghost-faced Crab’s attacks, running to other directions to launch surprise attacks.

After dozens of attempts, Qin Sisi finally chopped off the eight legs of the Ghost-faced Crab. Now, only a round, massive, hard shell remained, incapable of causing any more threat.

Amused, Qin Sisi used the short sword to flip the Ghost-faced Crab over, curious to see if it could turn back over.

If it still had its eight flexible legs, it could easily flip back. But now, with only a shell left, it couldn’t exert any force, helplessly wriggling its body, looking particularly comical.

Qin Sisi focused all her magical power into the short sword, aiming for the seam where the upper and lower shells joined. With a slight smile, taking advantage of the Ghost-faced Crab’s lack of attack capability, she forcefully stabbed into the intersection of the two shells.

The Ghost-faced Crab’s body violently trembled for a long ti until it finally lost all signs of life.

The prompt sound chid in: "Congratulations on passing the second level. You have obtained the pincers of the Ghost-faced Crab. Please find the entrance to the third level yourself."

Qin Sisi looked up. The Ghost-faced Crab’s body had disappeared, leaving two gigantic crab pincers in its place, bluish-green and appearing imposing.

She picked up the pincers of the Ghost-faced Crab. In front of her sprang forth glowing words prompting a choice: "Ghost-faced Crab’s pincers can enhance weapon attack power by forty percent. Equip them?"

Qin Sisi hesitated briefly. The Sparrow Spirit Scepter had been given to Ye You, and the short swords she currently used were quite ordinary. Binding the Ghost-faced Crab’s pincers seed like overkill.

So, she chose "No."

No special events occurred. The large pincers of the Ghost-faced Crab still lay quietly in front of her, and Qin Sisi stored the pincers into her storage ring, planning to bind them to the Sparrow Spirit Scepter later.

Now, having passed the second level, it was ti to challenge the third level. But just like in the second level, she needed to find the entrance herself.

Qin Sisi once again found herself in a secret room. This ti, with more experience, she first carefully observed the walls, floor, and ceiling.

Sure enough, one of the walls was densely filled with numbers—single-digit, double-digit, and triple-digit numbers.

Staring at those dense numbers, she fell into deep thought.
