Chapter 1301: Chapter 1301: Keep Her Here
Qin Sisi and Ye You were both sowhat helpless; begging couldn’t make it happen, nor could they snatch it away. The Life Divine Water was so close, yet so far away.
"Let’s leave first and talk about it later," Qin Sisi whispered to Ye You, preparing to leave Cang Ming Pavilion to deliberate further. Insisting on staying might anger Hai Cangming, making it hard to even preserve their lives.
Just as they turned to swim downstairs, Xue Mo suddenly spoke up: "Wait a mont."
Qin Sisi and Ye You paused, exchanged glances, and remained where they were, slightly apprehensive, not knowing what Xue Mo intended. Could it be she regretted pleading for them?
Hai Cangming was also sowhat surprised and asked Xue Mo, "What is it?"
Xue Mo pointed at Qin Sisi and said, "I’m too lonely here alone, let her stay with
as company!"
Qin Sisi was startled, but Ye You had already quickly pulled Qin Sisi into his arms, looking at Xue Mo with distrust.
Hai Cangming frowned and asked, "With
accompanying you, how could you be lonely?"
Xue Mo replied irritably, "Of course I’m lonely. Back at the Sea King Palace, there were all kinds of creatures everywhere—fish, shrimp, shellfish, crabs, and many people to play with. Now with you, there’s nothing; every day is cold and empty."
Hai Cangming was silent for a long ti before slowly saying, "I’m sorry, Xue Mo, I just like peace and quiet."
"You like being quiet, but I don’t. I don’t dare ask you to turn this place into the Sea King Palace, but I want a companion; is that too much to ask?" Xue Mo was quite articulate, even a bit... sharp.
Seeing their way of communicating left Qin Sisi with many emotions. In the world of love, those who love more often beco very humble, even if the person is a lofty Deity.
Hai Cangming said no more, directly addressing Ye You with a commanding tone: "Leave her here, you can go."
"She is my wife," Ye You stubbornly held Qin Sisi tightly, his purple eyes unwaveringly confronting Hai Cangming.
Hai Cangming said with a grim expression, "No matter who she is, as long as Xue Mo wants her, I’ll give her to Xue Mo. If you don’t let go, I’ll make you regret it for the rest of your life."
As he spoke, he clenched his fist, silver Magic Power seeping through the fingers.
Qin Sisi whispered into Ye You’s ear, "Xiao Hei, let
go. They shouldn’t harm . You leave first, see if there’s another way to save ."
"Sisi..." Pain flashed in Ye You’s eyes; he was once again feeling the bitterness of being unable to protect her.
Qin Sisi gently stroked Ye You’s cheek with her paw, continuing to soothe him: "With Princess Xuemo around, I will be safe. You must leave quickly, otherwise, we might both die here."
"Your wife is smart, obedient enough, ignorant child," Hai Cangming sarcastically sneered.
Ye You glared at Hai Cangming with anger, but Hai Cangming scoffed, raised his arm, and an overwhelming underwater current surged again, forcing Ye You to let go of Qin Sisi, swept away by the current.
The surging sea seed to contain endless power, and Ye You couldn’t break free despite using all his strength. Finally, he relaxed his body, letting the currents carry him wherever they wished.
When Ye You awakened, he found himself lying on a large expanse of soft fine sand, surrounded by picturesque underwater scenery, colorful schools of fish swimming by and long water plants swaying.
As he stood, a strange expression suddenly froze on his face, a look of odd brilliance in his eyes.
Not far ahead was a tall, magnificent, beautiful undersea castle. Golden walls glistened brightly; the splendid conical rooftops were topped with tall needle-like structures, ending with enormous gems. Half-circle archways and rounded windows below were full of exotic charm.
Above the castle, luminescent fish swam constantly, like stars twinkling in a deep-blue sky— sky like sea, sea like sky—as if entering a fairy tale world.
"Hey, rmaid over there, hurry up!" A burly rman suddenly appeared from nowhere, loudly calling Ye You.
Ye You hesitated for a mont, then swam forward.
"Hurry, a large group of devilfish are causing trouble in the eastern waters. The Sea King commands us to eliminate them; swiftly co to assemble!" The rman’s voice urged and swam ahead first.
Ye You paused for a mont, then followed, deciding to take things as they co.
Xue Mo claid Ye You was a mber of the rmaid Tribe, so Hai Cangming sent him near the Sea King Palace while Qin Sisi, weakened, remained at Cang Ming Pavilion.
Xue Mo insisted Qin Sisi share her room, and Hai Cangming always heeded Xue Mo’s requests on such trivial matters. Qin Sisi, being a woman, wasn’t inappropriate to live with Xue Mo.
Thus, in Xue Mo’s luxurious room, a smaller shell bed was placed for Qin Sisi’s resting place.
Looking at Xue Mo’s beautiful appearance and the room full of shimring treasures, Qin Sisi felt like she was dreaming, yet the golden bulwarks at the door and window clearly reminded her she was captive.
Thinking of Ye You swept away by the currents, Qin Sisi felt anxious. However, since Hai Cangming had promised Xue Mo not to harm Ye You, Ye You should be safe, hopefully quickly finding a way to rescue her.
But then again, Hai Cangming was a Deity with mana beyond imagination; even if Ye You practiced day and night, he couldn’t match Hai Cangming in a short ti. For them to leave safely seed almost impossible.
Furthermore, they needed to obtain Hai Cangming’s Life Divine Water.
"Are you thinking of your love?" Xue Mo softly asked Qin Sisi, who was sitting quietly on the shell bed.
She had sent Hai Cangming away on the pretext of needing rest; otherwise, she couldn’t converse properly with the new companion.
Qin Sisi lifted her head and nodded, asking, "Is Hai Cangming soone who keeps his word?"
Xue Mo thought for a mont and replied, "The things he promises should be kept."
Hearing Xue Mo’s words, Qin Sisi felt slightly reassured, composing herself. She then asked Xue Mo, "Why did you choose to keep
here?"
Xue Mo smiled, nonchalantly replying, "I ntioned it already, I’m lonely and want a companion."
Qin Sisi shook her head slightly, her eyes reflecting insight: "There must be another reason!"
Xue Mo’s behavior was strange; the unusual must signify a plot. Keeping her there wouldn’t be simply because of loneliness.
