Chapter 1300: Chapter 1300: The Authority of the Deity
Qin Sisi and Ye You swam to the top floor of the Cang Ming Pavilion, standing not far behind Hai Cangming. At this mont, they could only see Hai Cangming’s back.
The attire, white as snow and frost, inexplicably reminded Qin Sisi of Jiu Ge. However, Jiu Ge’s hair had turned completely white, while Hai Cangming’s hair remained ink black and was tied in a small white jade coral clip, smoothly draping down his back.
From behind, Hai Cangming’s deanor was noble and gentle like jade.
Probably hearing the sounds behind him, Hai Cangming turned around and looked at the two uninvited guests, Qin Sisi and Ye You.
Upon seeing Hai Cangming’s appearance, Qin Sisi paused slightly. In her mind, a Deity who had lived for thousands of years, even if still robust and elegant, should resemble Master Yipiao or Grandpa Chixun in so ways!
However, standing before her was Hai Cangming, who appeared to be a young man in his twenties, with features like a jade plate, tall and handso.
In his hand, he held a bouquet of exceptionally beautiful blue-purple flowers, likely the Blue Dream Flower as ntioned by Xue Mo.
The blue petals were not individual pieces but long, transparent bubbles, narrower at the bottom and wider at the top, forming a unique flower. The crystalline petals gently swayed in the seawater, clear and ethereal, dreamlike and fantastical.
Unfortunately, as stunning as the flower was, Xue Mo was unwilling to spare it even an extra glance.
"Who are you? How dare you trespass into the Cang Ming Pavilion?" Hai Cangming’s face darkened, his slightly narrowed eyes emitting a dangerous vibe, the Deity’s unangered presence causing the surrounding seawater to turn gloomy and oppressive.
Coincidentally, Hai Cangming’s first words to them were identical to those of the rmaid Xue Mo.
Ye You, feeling urgent, imdiately bowed to Hai Cangming, respectfully saying, "Deity senior, I am Jiuxi Yeyou, the Sage Ruler of the Demon Sacred Realm. My wife is gravely ill and needs the Life Divine Water to save her life; I co to seek your help."
He promptly announced his identity, hoping Hai Cangming would show leniency considering his descent from the Phoenix.
However, Hai Cangming was only slightly surprised, maintaining a cold and proud deanor as he stared at Ye You for a mont. Suddenly, he raised his arm, and formidable magic power surged forth, creating a fierce underwater current rushing towards Ye You.
Knowing Hai Cangming’s intention to test, Ye You did not resist, instead forcefully pushing Qin Sisi aside to avoid the current’s attack, and personally took the brunt of Hai Cangming’s strike.
The sea water infused with magic power was extrely ferocious, slamming against Ye You’s chest, sending his tiny body flying far away, like a withered leaf about to be torn apart by a wild storm.
"Xiao Hei!" Qin Sisi called out anxiously, intending to swim towards Ye You.
Hai Cangming coldly curled his lips, flipped his palm, and a silver beam shot towards Qin Sisi. Upon contact, he sensed that Qin Sisi’s body was indeed very fragile, with little magical power within, thus he closed his hand and the silver light vanished.
When he opened his palm again, a transparent bubble floated from his palm, which he gently lifted, the bubble drifting towards Qin Sisi, enveloping her body.
Qin Sisi floated along with the bubble, anxiously tapping the inside of its walls, but despite its fragile appearance, the bubble was unexpectedly tough.
She then gathered Gold Attribute Magic Power to attack the bubble’s inner wall; the bubble only slightly shook, forcing Qin Sisi to admit she was powerless to break it. The Deity’s authority was indeed remarkable.
"Don’t harm her!" A furious shout ca from afar, and in less than a second, Ye You’s figure was already close.
Hai Cangming’s attack not only hurt Ye You’s body but also broke his transformation. By now, Ye You had reverted to his human form, much larger in size, though his lower body was still a fish tail.
Holding the Sparrow Spirit Scepter, he glared at Hai Cangming, demanding, "Release her!"
"Do you dare threaten ?" Hai Cangming, not angered but laughing, revealed a blatant disdain in his eyes.
He was a Deity who had created the heavens and earth alongside the Phoenix, while Ye You, regardless of not lying, was only an offspring of countless generations, lacking the qualification for equal dialogue.
Hai Cangming raised his hand again, gathering formidable magic power in his palm, intending this ti to let the ignorant child threatening him pay dearly.
"Are you also from the rmaid Tribe?" An ethereal voice sounded untily, as Xue Mo gripped the golden bulwarks, her limpid eyes firmly fixed on Ye You.
Ye You lightly glanced at her without responding, his focus entirely on Hai Cangming.
Just as Hai Cangming was about to attack Ye You, Xue Mo suddenly spoke up, "Hai Cangming, he’s one of my rmaid Tribe. I won’t allow you to harm him."
Hai Cangming’s hand remained suspended in mid-air, the magic power in his palm long unspent.
Xue Mo’s voice turned cold: "Hai Cangming, I’m the Princess of the rmaid Tribe. It’s my responsibility to protect my people."
Hai Cangming turned to Xue Mo and said, "He said himself, he’s the Sage Ruler of the Demon Sacred Realm, from the Jiuxi Royal Family, not the rmaid Tribe."
Xue Mo raised her chin, replying confidently, "He claid that to save ; how could a Jiuxi Royal Family mber have a fish tail?"
Hai Cangming glanced at Ye You. Based on his own perception, although he didn’t understand why Ye You had a fish tail, he believed Ye You wasn’t lying; however, he was unwilling to clash with Xue Mo.
Seeing Hai Cangming hesitate, Xue Mo gritted her teeth and sharply said, "Let them go, or I’ll never forgive you."
Hai Cangming sighed deeply, slowly lowered his hand, and with a bitter smile said, "Xue Mo, you know, you’re the only weakness I have in this life."
Xue Mo’s gaze trembled slightly, soon regaining calm, and silently lowered her eyes.
Hai Cangming lightly moved his fingers, the bubble "pop" shattered, freeing Qin Sisi. Ye You hastened to her side, asking with concern, "Are you alright? How do you feel?"
"I’m okay." Qin Sisi softly responded, her gaze landing on Hai Cangming.
From Hai Cangming’s deanor, it was evident he wouldn’t attack her and Ye You anymore, but obtaining the Life Divine Water from him seed nearly impossible.
"In consideration of Xue Mo, I’ll spare you this ti; now leave Cang Ming Pavilion. Do not approach within ten thousand ters," Hai Cangming sternly commanded, his face icy.
Ye You and Qin Sisi exchanged a glance, realizing from that previous strike, it was apparent that Hai Cangming’s magic power far surpassed theirs, making it impossible for them to confront him directly.
