Chapter 119: Chapter 119: Moving House_1
The house was located in a mid-range residential complex, the environnt was quite nice. Following the staff mber, Qin Sisi entered one of the buildings and took the elevator up to the tenth floor.
The staff mber opened the door with a key and said to Qin Sisi: "Go on, have a look inside."
Qin Sisi politely nodded with a smile and stepped in. As soon as she entered, she felt a cold and eerie aura.
The light in Qin Sisi’s eyes flickered slightly, there were indeed ghosts in this house.
Perhaps it was because nobody had lived here for a long ti, the eerie feeling was lingering even in daylight.
Qin Sisi exchanged a glance with Ye You, then began to carefully examine the interior of the house.
Overall, the house was consistent with its description on paper. The location was good, the house fulfilled all her requirents, and the interior decor looked quite new. The furniture and ho appliances were also quite complete.
A house this good for only five thousand a year was definitely a big win.
Qin Sisi decided on the spot to rent it, indicating to the staff that she was willing to sign the contract and pay the deposit imdiately.
"Young lady, you must think this through. Once you pay, there’s no refunds, and if anything happens in the future, you can’t cause trouble for our company," the older woman said hesitantly.
Qin Sisi responded confidently: "Rest assured, if I have made the decision to stay, I will not back out."
The staff mber’s face softened a bit, and asked in a low voice, "Young lady, are you truly not afraid?"
After thinking for a mont, Qin Sisi asked back, "They say it’s haunted here, what does the ghost look like?"
The staff mber laughed helplessly and said, "Young lady, you’re quite the joker. Who can actually see ghosts? They just said that there were strange noises in the house at night, and objects which were well-placed on tables during the day would be found on the floor the next morning."
Qin Sisi continued to ask, "Apart from the initial incident, any serious happenings in this house?"
The staff mber shook his head, "No, not really. It was rented out twice, but the tenants moved out after a few days. Even though the rent is cheap, no one wants to stay as soon as they hear of the previous incidents and rumors of impurity."
Qin Sisi said calmly, "If nothing else happened, then maybe there’s no problem at all. People might be scared because a murder occurred previously."
Having made her intent clear to rent and promising no regrets, the staff mber didn’t say anything else. Riding an electric bike, the staff mber took Qin Sisi back to the real estate agency and quickly signed the contract.
While signing the contract, she specifically pointed out a line of fine print at the bottom of the contract and reminded Qin Sisi to read it carefully before signing and getting her fingerprints on it.
Qin Sisi took a careful look. The line read, "The tenant is aware of all the accidents that have occurred in this house and confirms they can accept it."
Qin Sisi nodded and signed her na, pressing her fingerprint onto the contract.
The staff gave Qin Sisi one of the two copies of the contract, and asked, "Young lady, do you want to pay a deposit first and pay the rest upon moving in, or would you like to settle the entire rent now?"
Qin Sisi thought it over and asked, "Can I move in right after paying the rent?"
"Of course, you can get the keys as soon as you’ve paid," the staff mber replied affirmatively.
Qin Sisi looked at Ye You, who made a low sound.
Understanding Ye You’s aning, Qin Sisi told the staff mber, "Since I’ve decided, let’s settle the rent now. I’d like to move as soon as possible."
The staff mber was more than happy to oblige, agreeing imdiately.
Qin Sisi paid the rent with her bank card and received the keys to the house from the staff mber.
The staff mber also kindly gave Qin Sisi two business cards of a moving company. Qin Sisi took a look and put them in her pocket.
After saying goodbye to the staff mber at the real estate agency, Qin Sisi took a taxi back to her current place. Looking at the various items in the room, Qin Sisi said with a bit of worry, "Even though there aren’t many things, I still need to pack properly."
Ye You asked, "Is everything in this room yours?"
Qin Sisi shook her head, "No, the furniture and appliances belong to the landlord. Most of my things are clothes, bedding, pots and pans, and those books."
As she said this, Qin Sisi rolled up her sleeves and began to pack, "I’ll start organizing today, and contact the moving company tomorrow."
Ye You blinked, "Why bother with a moving company? With , that’s enough."
Qin Sisi laughed and said, "Stop joking, can you carry all these things?"
Ye You didn’t speak, and walked over to Qin Sisi. He placed a paw on a stack of books that she had just packed, and then the stack of books suddenly disappeared.
Qin Sisi was taken aback for a mont, then quickly realized and joyfully said, "I almost forgot, you have a portable space."
Ye You chuckled, "Just hand
anything you want to take with you."
Qin Sisi nodded and replied, "Ok, but is your portable space big enough?"
Ye You’s eyes rolled around, "It’s not too big, but it’s enough for moving your things."
Qin Sisi happily hugged Ye You and murmured, "Xiao Hei, thank you."
Ye You rubbed Qin Sisi’s forehead with his fluffy head, whispering, "You don’t have to thank , it was
who asked you to move. It’s only right that I help you."
They gazed at each other at close range, their eyes soft.
Feeling slightly embarrassed, Qin Sisi put Ye You down and said, "Well, I’ll go pack my things then."
"Ok." Ye You responded, his gaze never leaving Qin Sisi.
Qin Sisi organized all the things she planned to take with her. The items she no longer needed were thrown directly into the trash bin. Ye You collected all the items Qin Sisi organized into his portable space.
Once she finished packing, Qin Sisi called her current landlord, informing them that she would be vacating the house and requested them to co inspect it and take back the keys.
At first, the landlord was cautious, because according to the rent Qin Sisi paid she still had two months left. The landlord thought Qin Sisi wanted a partial refund of the rent. But once he realized that wasn’t the case, his attitude imdiately ward up. He indicated he would be on his way as soon as possible.
After the call, Qin Sisi began cleaning up.
Although she had just cleaned the day before, the results of the previous day’s work were pretty much gone after her packing efforts. Even though she was moving out soon, Qin Sisi didn’t want to leave the landlord a dirty and ssy house.
Fortunately, the house was small and there wasn’t much stuff. Even with cleaning and packing, it didn’t take too long.
