Detecting the incoming danger, the Yin-Yang Beast calmly shook its enormous head, its long mane swaying with the motion. Strands of magic energy emitting a faint radiance quickly flew out from its mane and intertwined before it, forming a shield that appeared deceptively soft.

The Hell Fire Thunder Hamr and Holy Fire Illusion Sword’s magical energy waves struck the shield in front of the Yin-Yang Beast almost simultaneously. The seemingly soft shield trembled slightly, flickered briefly, and absorbed nearly half of their energy waves before dissipating shortly after.

Ye You and Qin Sisi were shocked. Although the attack was sowhat rushed, they had still used seventy percent of their magical energy only for it all to be effortlessly absorbed by the shield the Yin-Yang Beast had ford by rely shaking its head.

A brutal gleam flashed in the Beast’s eyes. Since ancient tis, countless treasure seekers had co here, but only a scant few managed to reach its presence. Most were stopped by the two defensive formations outside—the Wood Attribute Blood-sucking Thorn Formation and the combined Wind and Earth Attribute Hurricane Sandstorm Formation.

He then rapidly summoned Earth Attribute magic energy and used his most formidable defensive skill, the Spirit of Xuanwu, to shield himself against the Yin-Yang Beast’s attack.

But the Magic Gods could never equal the Demon Emperor’s might. The ferocious water arrows struck Xuanwu’s shell relentlessly, and the Spirit of Xuanwu shattered and collapsed under the Beast’s overwhelming assault within re minutes.

And the remaining half of the Yin-Yang Beast’s water-power arrows, seeming to have eyes of their own, all targeted Ye You.

Ye You’s expression changed as he dashed into the gorge on the right side of the cave. That gorge burned with radiant orange flas, reducing the incoming water arrows to steam as soon as they approached the intense heat.

The Ziwei Heaven Fire on Ye You was both his weapon and his defense. The gorge flas, recognizing the divine fire emanating from Ye You, not only did him no harm but replenished his depleted Fire Attribute magical energy.

Qin Sisi, biting her lip in worry, finally sighed in relief upon seeing Ye You escape danger.

The Yin-Yang Beast, furious that its attack had failed to kill its opponent, began stomping angrily toward Ye You while shrieking in frustration.

Its enormous body caused the cave to quake with every step, resembling an earthquake.

Under the Invisible Bubble’s concealnt, Qin Sisi cautiously approached the spot where the Yin-Yang Beast had just been sleeping. It was the only area left unexplored. If the Water Fire Spirit Pearl truly existed within the cave, it had to be here.

The Yin-Yang Beast’s hellish fire surged forward. Ye You simply lay back and imrsed his entire body in the water.

With water and fire countering each other, Ye You utilized the cave’s unique distribution of elents to exploit the Beast’s attacks, temporarily neutralizing its ferocious assault.

The Yin-Yang Beast was utterly enraged, unable to fathom how its everyday environnt had beco a tool for Ye You to exploit against it.

At this mont, Qin Sisi, flapping the Wings of Rainbow, flew over and pulled Ye You into the Invisible Bubble. She spoke quickly and softly by his ear, "I couldn’t find the Water Fire Spirit Pearl."

"How could that be?" Ye You’s face grew anxious.

The Water Fire Spirit Pearl, being such a celestial treasure, ought to stand out. In a cave like this, it should have been easy to spot. Why was it nowhere to be found?

The Yin-Yang Beast’s furious roars drew Qin Sisi and Ye You’s attention back to it. The Beast suddenly exerted great force to blink its eyes.

Its left eye emitted a torrential stream resembling a massive, winding waterfall that shot into the cave’s right-side gorge, slowly extinguishing the flas there.

Its right eye, anwhile, unleashed a burning fire dragon that roared into the cave’s left-side gorge, transforming the pale blue spring water into dense steam that gradually drifted into the air.

Enraged by Ye You’s counterattack, the Beast resolved to destroy the springs and flas it created within the two gorges, thus leaving Ye You with nowhere to hide.
