Chapter 1151: Chapter 1151: Yin-Yang Beast

Qin Sisi and Ye You exchanged a glance, tightened their grip on each other’s hands, and slowly stepped into the pitch-black mountain cave.

At first, there was only darkness ahead, so dark that one couldn’t see their fingers even when stretched out. Ye You’s extraordinary eyesight could only discern extrely faint shapes.

The two walked very slowly. After about a hundred ters, the surroundings suddenly beca much brighter.

On both sides of the cave, the rock walls emitted a faint glow. The left wall radiated a pale silver light, akin to the luminous moonlight; the right wall shone with a brilliant golden light, resembling the dazzling rays of the sun.

The once completely dark cave was now illuminated by the glowing rock walls on either side, though not as bright as daylight, their vision was no longer hindered.

They carefully observed the scenery around them and noticed that both sides of the narrow cave had a half-ter deep and half-ter wide trench running along them.

In the trench on the left, clear, light-blue water flowed—the sa water quality as the blue lake they’d encountered outside. Upon skin contact, pure Water Spirit Force surged into their bodies, making them feel refreshed.

In the trench on the right, there was a flowing fla. The orange fire resembled a torrential river of fire, ceaselessly surging outward. As they approached, they could feel the intense Fire Spiritual Power within the flas.

If not for their pressing need to find the Fire Spirit Pearl and Water Spirit Pearl, these pure and abundant Water Spirit Force and Fire Spiritual Force wouldn’t have been left to waste.

"This cave is so strange," Qin Sisi couldn’t help but remark.

Ye You explained, "Left is Yin, and right is Yang."

Qin Sisi blinked in realization.

The Yin-Yang Cave: left for Yin and right for Yang, water aligns with Yin and fire aligns with Yang.

Hence, water flowed through the left trench, while flas surged through the right.

The abundant spiritual forces of water and fire must be related to the Water Spirit Pearl and Fire Spirit Pearl.

Steadying their minds, the pair continued deeper into the cave, as the sound of strange noises grew increasingly distinct.

"What’s that sound?" Qin Sisi asked softly, her voice tinged with worry.

Ye You paused to think, then replied in a low voice, "Let’s move closer and investigate."

They tread cautiously, quieting their footsteps as they ventured forward. The strange noise grew louder and very rhythmic.

When they got close enough, Qin Sisi and Ye You realized almost simultaneously that they were hearing snores—soone, or so creature, was asleep and snoring.

Realizing the source of the noise, Ye You’s mood eased slightly. If this peculiar and loud snoring belonged to the guardian beast of the Water Fire Spirit Pearl, it indicated that the beast had not yet noticed their presence.

If they could stealthily take the Water Spirit Pearl while the guardian beast remained asleep, it would be a stroke of great fortune; if not, battling a half-awake guardian beast might still give them an advantage.

With these thoughts in mind, the guardian beast’s snoring grew louder and louder. Following the illuminated path of the cave, after about an hour, Qin Sisi and Ye You finally reached the cave’s deepest point, where the slumbering guardian beast appeared before them.

Qin Sisi tightened her grip on Ye You’s hand suddenly—the guardian beast’s appearance was too fierce and terrifying.

Its overall look resembled a gigantic lion, with long mane sprouting from its head and thick fur covering its four massive paws.

The beast was enormous, asuring ten ters in length—a true colossus. Its body was covered in hard scales, clearly indicating formidable defensive power, and atop its head grew two sprawling antler-like horns that resembled branches.

Moreover, its appearance was peculiar. The left half of its body was blue—blue mane, blue scales, and blue horn.

The right half of its body was red—red mane, red scales, and red horn.

"Yin-Yang Beast," Ye You murmured softly, recalling what Master Yipiao had once taught him.

Standing beside him, Qin Sisi heard the na and felt it was fitting—left blue and right red, perfectly aligning with the Yin-Yang pattern.

Yet, seeing this massive, peculiarly shaped, and ferocious guardian beast, she couldn’t help but feel intimidated. If they could silently retrieve the Water Spirit Pearl while it remained asleep, it would be ideal.

Ye You’s thoughts naturally mirrored Qin Sisi’s, so the two began to search the cave carefully, their steps light as feathers.

Although the cave was large and long, it was surprisingly clean, with nothing out of the ordinary except for the formidable Yin-Yang Beast.

They had even examined the clear water flowing in the left trench and the flas surging in the right trench. Qin Sisi stepped into the pale-blue water, feeling the abundance of Water Spirit Force flowing into her body. She could even sense her Magic Source slowly boosting her Water Attribute Magic power.

This delighted her, though their failure to locate the Water Spirit Pearl left her anxious.

Ye You, on the other hand, entered the flas in the right trench. The orange fire flas brimd with rich Fire Spiritual Force, which absorbed into his body effortlessly without him needing to guide it. Given Ye You’s innate mastery of Fire Attribute Magic, the influx of this force didn’t create any significant changes for him.

After a fruitless search, their gaze eventually fell upon the slumbering Yin-Yang Beast.

Since the Yin-Yang Beast was the guardian of the Water Fire Spirit Pearls, it must be responsible for safeguarding them. It was possible the pearls were hidden beneath its body while it slept.

Master Yipiao had ntioned that others had co seeking treasures before, and the Yin-Yang Beast was known to be particularly vigilant.

Ye You shook his head helplessly. The purple glow emitted by the Yin-Yang Beast marked it as a Seventh Order Demonic Beast, equating to the power level of a High-level Magic Emperor. Furthermore, its aura was incredibly dense, suggesting it might already rival the strength of a High-level Magic Emperor.

He himself was rely an Interdiate Magic God, and Qin Sisi was only a High-level Magic Spirit—they were far from being a match for the Yin-Yang Beast. Even with the combined powers of the Phoenix Scepter and Wings of Rainbow, they might barely be able to hold their own.

However, such a battle would undoubtedly leave them exhausted, and they still had a greater challenge ahead—the quest to secure the Water Spirit Pearl.

The path ahead was fraught with peril, but it seed they had no choice but to continue forward.

Ye You leaned into Qin Sisi’s ear and whispered, "Later, I will distract it while you search for the Water Fire Spirit Pearl. Once you find them, do not touch them directly. Place them in a container and store them in the storage ring. Do you understand?"

Ye You’s expression was stern and serious. Qin Sisi responded equally solemnly with a nod, "Understood."

She didn’t fully understand the reasoning behind Ye You’s instructions, but she trusted him nonetheless.
