Qin Sisi and Jiu Ge both fell silent, an eerie quietness enveloping the atmosphere.
Li Li stood by the door, her head lowered and eyes downcast, thoughts unknown.
After a long pause, Jiu Ge asked softly, "What do you like about Ye You?"
Qin Sisi pondered over it. What did she like about him? His handso deanor? His noble status? His strong mana?
It seed like all of these, yet none of them.
Finally, Qin Sisi shook her head and replied, "I can’t really explain it, it’s probably just a feeling!"
A bitter taste rose in Jiu Ge’s heart, and he unwillingly asked, "Is it because he’s the prince?"
Qin Sisi shook her head again and said, "When I started liking him, I didn’t know he was a prince."
Jiu Ge wanted to say more, but suddenly, cries of pain echoed from outside, very near Jiu Ge’s residence.
Jiu Ge looked towards the door, worry creeping in. Although he could hear so commotion when his mother went out earlier, the sounds were distant. The next second, Ye You’s figure appeared at the door.
"Xiao Hei..." Qin Sisi muttered in disbelief as she watched the suddenly appearing Ye You. After a mont of stunned stillness, she dashed forward to embrace Ye You tightly.
"Is it really you?" Feeling Ye You’s warm body, Qin Sisi finally confird she wasn’t hallucinating.
Ye You held Qin Sisi tightly, his voice hoarse as he said, "I’m sorry, I ca too late."
Qin Sisi shook her head, choking back sobs, "I’m sorry, I didn’t take care of myself and made you worry."
Ye You pulled Qin Sisi from his embrace, gently wiped her tears, and said softly, "Let’s leave here first."
"Okay." Qin Sisi nodded vigorously.
Ye You held Qin Sisi’s hand firmly, bringing her into the Invisible Bubble, leading her towards the door.
Just as they reached the entrance of Jiu Ge’s courtyard, they saw i Ji flying over. Both of them tensed, pressing cautiously against the wall to stop moving.
Though the Invisible Bubble could hide their form, people with higher magic power could sense better. While i Ji couldn’t see them, she might feel their presence.
Sure enough, i Ji stopped at the courtyard entrance, turning around to look in all directions.
She indeed felt sothing amiss, but after scanning several tis and finding nothing suspicious, she briskly walked into Jiu Ge’s courtyard.
As soon as i Ji entered, Ye You imdiately pulled Qin Sisi to run. He knew Qing Xun was hiding in the artificial lake, and he needed to et up with them. Whoever ca together must leave together.
In just a few seconds, i Ji rushed out of Jiu Ge’s courtyard. Jiu Ge and Qin Sisi were already gone, and Li Li lay fainted on the ground, clearly ambushed.
Thinking quickly, she spread her wings and flew toward the artificial lake.
Ye You shouted a few tis by the lake. The Chief Mansion was in chaos by now; nobody noticed Ye You’s calls.
Qing Xun heard Ye You’s voice and jumped out of the lake with Yun Wang.

Jiu Ge snorted, "Whom my mother marries is Changkong family matters, the prince has no right to interfere. And why should you see
whenever you want, but I need your permission to et you?"
Ye You didn’t continue the argunt, simply saying, "Jiu Ge, you should know why I’m here. I don’t wish to be an enemy of the Changkong family. I only want to leave with them safely."
With those words, Jiu Ge realized Ye You had already found Qin Sisi. Knowing Ye You had the Invisible Bubble, Qin Sisi was surely nearby, hidden within it.
Jiu Ge glanced at Ye You’s side but saw nothing, though he knew she was there.
She was finally leaving; so things, so people, were never ant for him.
"Don’t even think about leaving!" A sharp voice rang out, and the next second, i Ji appeared in front of Ye You and the others.
"You bunch of brats, you turned my Chief Mansion into this and still want to leave? Today, I’ll tear you to pieces!" i Ji cursed viciously.
At this mont, the Blood Eagles that chased Ye You into the Chief Mansion also found their targets, quickly surrounding them. Aside from the one Qing Xun had killed by luck, six Blood Eagles remained, all Sixth Order.
