Chapter 1119: Chapter 1119: Can You Not Leave?

Yun Wang looked up, the rapidly spinning hurricane resembled a massive mouth capable of devouring everything. It pulled in nearby trees, rubble from collapsed buildings, sand, dirt, and even the corpses of guards slain by the Blood Eagles.

Yun Wang’s face paled with shock. This power was too overwhelming for him to resist. Hastily, he unleashed his Earth Attribute Magic Power and burrowed into the ground.

i Ji’s Fury Wind Star Burst arrived in the blink of an eye. Everything in the spot where Yun Wang had previously stood was swept high into the air by the violent wind. Yun Wang only narrowly escaped by diving underground in ti.

i Ji let out a cold snort and unleashed another Fury Wind Star Burst, aiming directly at the patch of earth where Yun Wang had burrowed.

In an instant, that region of land was torn into a massive pit. Mud, sand, and stones flew wildly, and the unfortunate guards who hadn’t managed to escape beca collateral damage.

After diving underground, Yun Wang quickly tunneled a short distance to the side, avoiding the brunt of the Fury Wind Star Burst. However, he still couldn’t escape its attack range entirely.

The hurricane churned up even more dirt and debris, the pit growing larger and deeper until Yun Wang was finally forced out of the ground.

Thankfully, by then the Fury Wind Star Burst’s power was waning. Yun Wang wasn’t flung too high before being pushed back by the winds, tumbling disoriented for several hundred ters before plunging into an erald artificial lake with a massive splash.

i Ji imdiately flew to the edge of the lake, but Yun Wang’s figure was nowhere to be seen.

"You brat! I’ll wait right here for you. Let’s see how long you can hold your breath," i Ji cursed under her breath, preparing to stake out the lakeside like a patient hunter.

The higher one’s magic power, the longer they could hold their breath underwater. However, even the strongest could only last a few hours at most, except for the Zhulu family, whose intrinsic attribute was Water. For other families, the limit was roughly the sa.

i Ji was certain that the troubleso youth was from the Panhu family. There was no way he could hide underwater for too long.

She was unwilling to dive in to search. Like the Blood Eagles, she was poor in water combat. The skies were her strongest domain; in water, she was like a bird with soaked wings, unable to truly soar.

Just as i Ji resolved to wait here and vowed to tear the troubleso intruder from the Chief Mansion limb from limb, she suddenly noticed the corpse of a Blood Eagle, drifting lifelessly on the water’s surface.

i Ji’s face darkened. Though she’d attacked harshly just now, she hadn’t intended to kill her contractual partner, the Blood Eagle. So how had it died?

Frowning in thought, she flipped her palm and summoned a wisp of Wind Attribute Magic Power, drawing the Blood Eagle’s body toward her. Its feathers were soaked, and its forehead had been split open, revealing a small cavity—empty inside.

It was clear. Soone had killed the Blood Eagle after she wounded it, carving its forehead open to take the Magic Crystal Stone inside.

Yet she hadn’t sensed anyone performing this act. If an attack had co from the air, she would have noticed. Unless... that person was underwater.

i Ji’s body trembled with fury. So the Zhulu family was here too! These ddleso, foolhardy families—she vowed to root out all the intruders and make them pay dearly for their interference.

Her eyes were locked firmly on the water’s surface. The expansive artificial lake was devoid of even a single ripple or splash. The boy who’d been flung in just monts ago had disappeared without a trace. The eerie silence was unsettling.

Suddenly, a thought struck i Ji. Why exactly had these people co?

Could it be just to cause trouble? Breaking a few buildings and killing so guards wouldn’t even scratch the foundation of the Changkong family. Youthful recklessness didn’t equate to stupidity.

Reanalyzing the situation, a suspicion began to form in her mind, and her thoughts inevitably turned toward Qin Sisi.

Qin Sisi was Ye You’s fiancée. If Ye You knew she was here, he would surely co to her rescue. And the Panhu family, being the most loyal to Ye You, would undoubtedly stand by his side and act with him.

At this realization, i Ji clenched her silver teeth and abruptly turned away from the lake. Wind currents lifted her into the air as she soared toward Jiu Ge’s residence. When she had left, Qin Sisi had still been there.

After i Ji hurriedly left with her guards, Jiu Ge and Qin Sisi exchanged a glance, both feeling like they had narrowly escaped disaster.

Though nothing serious had occurred, the mory of i Ji’s oppressive presence left Qin Sisi trembling with lingering fear. In Jiu Ge’s presence, however, she felt awkward and instinctively moved a little farther away from him.

Jiu Ge’s dark eyes glanced at her deeply. Taking out a Level Five Jade Fusion Pill from his storage ring, he handed it to Qin Sisi, lowering his head to say, "Take it."

Qin Sisi looked at Jiu Ge with surprise. She had been eagerly longing for a Jade Fusion Pill, nearly to the point of madness. She’d assud Jiu Ge would stubbornly refuse to yield, but now it had been handed to her without struggle or condition.

"Hurry, don’t wait until I regret it," Jiu Ge urged impatiently.

He knew he’d regret letting her go, but if keeping her here would only bring her harm, he would regret it even more later.

Qin Sisi, desperate to leave this place, quickly reached out to take the Jade Fusion Pill from Jiu Ge’s palm. Just as she clasped it in her hand, Jiu Ge’s fingers suddenly closed, enveloping her hand in his own.

Startled, Qin Sisi tried to pull her hand away. Yet no matter how hard she struggled, Jiu Ge’s grip remained unyielding.

"Jiu Ge, let

go," Qin Sisi said, her expression darkening.

"Qin Sisi, can you not leave?" Jiu Ge raised his eyes to look at her. His gaze burned with intensity as he stared at her.

Qin Sisi froze, staring back at Jiu Ge in bewildernt, her mind unable to process his words for a mont.

"Qin Sisi, I’ll take you sowhere quiet, where it’s just the two of us. Whatever Ye You can give you, I can give you too," Jiu Ge said, his eyes filled with longing, threads of affection visible within.

Qin Sisi’s emotions churned in chaos as she finally understood. Jiu Ge was confessing his feelings.

The realization left her stunned, her mind reeling. She couldn’t comprehend why this was happening or how it had co to this. She had never imagined Jiu Ge would say such things to her.

She had heard countless tales of Jiu Ge’s reputation—his charm among won, yet never truly falling for anyone. Was his confession genuine?

Drawing in a deep breath, Qin Sisi composed herself. To her, it didn’t matter whether Jiu Ge’s words were sincere or not.

"Jiu Ge, let go of

first," Qin Sisi said, her tone calm and asured.

Jiu Ge’s gaze darkened briefly before he slowly released her hand. A feeling of reluctance surged in his heart—would this hand be sothing he’d never hold again?

Qin Sisi swiftly withdrew her hand, imdiately swallowing the Jade Fusion Pill. Taking a step back, she looked at Jiu Ge and said, "Thank you for your kindness, but I’m sorry."

Those two simple sentences were enough to send Jiu Ge’s heart plumting into a frozen abyss. She had apologized.
