Chapter 1105: Chapter 1105: The Flying Sedan Chair

Although Qin Sisi had gone to bed quite late the previous night, she woke up early the next day. One reason was her restless sleep in this unfamiliar place, and the other was the weight of her worries.

She was concerned about Ye You’s situation while also pondering the "grand gift" Jiu Ge had ntioned. She could sense that whatever Jiu Ge had prepared was certainly no ordinary gesture.

When Jiu Ge, dressed in striking red, appeared before her with a mischievous smile, Qin Sisi blinked and asked, "Where’s this grand gift of yours?"

Clearing his throat, Jiu Ge replied, "Don’t be anxious. Here, drink this."

As he spoke, Jiu Ge handed Qin Sisi a transparent bottle. Inside, so brown liquid swirled faintly.

Qin Sisi frowned and asked, "What is this?"

Jiu Ge answered quickly, "It’s juice extracted from the Goujin Vine. Good for your body."

"Does it cure poison?" Qin Sisi asked, despite knowing the chances were slim.

"Wishful thinking," Jiu Ge lazily retorted.

Disappointed, Qin Sisi pursed her lips but still raised the transparent bottle to sip the brown liquid. She wasn’t worried about Jiu Ge harming her—he had no reason to do so. If he had intended harm, he wouldn’t have saved her back then.

The juice of the Goujin Vine tasted peculiar—not particularly pleasant, nor particularly unpleasant. After drinking it, Qin Sisi smacked her lips but felt that sothing was subtly amiss within her body. She couldn’t quite pinpoint the sensation.

Jiu Ge grinned triumphantly, raising both arms and clapping loudly. Soon, an ornate palanquin flew toward Jiu Ge.

The palanquin, of course, did not move on its own. Above it flew four massive Blood Eagles. Durable chains of golden tal connected one end to the palanquin’s corners and the other to the talons of the Blood Eagles.

When the Blood Eagles soared into the sky, the palanquin rose along with them.

The four Blood Eagles had been trained from a young age, displaying impeccable discipline.

Seeing such a spectacle for the first ti, Qin Sisi’s eyes widened with awe. Yet, the shadowy thought that these Blood Eagles were fed human flesh inevitably brought a mix of aversion and fear to her heart.

Qin Sisi took several deep breaths, calming her emotions and forcing herself to montarily forget the horrors she’d witnessed in recent days, striving to maintain an even expression.

Jiu Ge approached the palanquin, lifted its curtain, and extended an inviting gesture, saying warmly to Qin Sisi, "Please, step inside."

"You’re taking

out of here?" Qin Sisi asked in surprise. In recent days, Jiu Ge had seed intent on confining her here, but now, he unexpectedly offered to escort her outside.

"Hop in already. You’ll understand when we get there." Jiu Ge, as always, refused to divulge his plans.

Left with no choice, Qin Sisi sat inside the palanquin as instructed. Inside, there was a small window—one section of which was transparent, offering a view of the outside world. Qin Sisi leaned against the window, gazing out.

Jiu Ge unleashed a wave of Wind Attribute Magic Power, summoning a fierce gale. Riding the wind, he ascended into the sky.

The four Blood Eagles carried the palanquin behind him, followed by Li Li leading a group of guards from the Chief Mansion.

Through the transparent window, Qin Sisi admired the breathtaking scenery of Midair City while stealthily morizing the city’s terrain and features. Gradually, she realized the direction of their movent felt rather familiar. It seed she’d visited this area before.

When Jiu Ge finally halted, Qin Sisi understood. The towering and grand structure before her was none other than the Blacksmith Guild—the very place where her troubles had started.

What was Jiu Ge planning to do here?

Qin Sisi pondered briefly and intended to question Jiu Ge, but suddenly she found herself completely paralyzed. Her body lacked all strength; even raising a hand felt exhausting. Escaping the palanquin was impossible.

She wanted to call out to Jiu Ge, only to discover she couldn’t speak. Her mouth moved, but not a single sound erged.

Now she understood—the true effect of the Goujin Vine juice.

Recalling Jiu Ge’s mysterious expression earlier, Qin Sisi deduced that he had done this deliberately—to render her motionless and mute, allowing only her eyes to observe.

But what was he trying to show her?

Soon, Qin Sisi found out the answer.

Jiu Ge stopped underneath the Blacksmith Guild and raised both arms, manipulating the Magic Source with great speed, exerting all his strength to release Wind Attribute Magic Power. He altered the wind currents that sustained the Blacksmith Guild’s suspension in midair.

With the wind support destabilized, the grand structure of the Blacksmith Guild began descending slowly.

The massive upheaval surprised everyone inside, prompting them to rush out and investigate. Upon recognizing Jiu Ge of the Chang Kong family as the perpetrator, chaos erupted.

The crowd shouted at Jiu Ge, so pleading for him to stop, others cursing him for his recklessness.

Whichever response it was—requests or insults—Jiu Ge seed oblivious as he continued to alter the wind’s direction with his Wind Attribute Magic Power. The Blacksmith Guild persisted in its gradual descent.

Rong Shuo, the Guild President, happened to be within the building. Upon hearing the reports from his people, he quickly rushed out of the guild and positioned himself beneath it, confronting Jiu Ge directly.

Rong Shuo was a Fifth-level Forgemaster, originally a High-level Magic Spirit. Last month, he had broken through his limits, successfully enduring the Heavenly Tribulation to beco a Low-level Magic God.

At this mont, Jiu Ge also possessed the strength of a Low-level Magic God. However, while Rong Shuo had invested heavily in mastering forging techniques, he lacked prowess in direct confrontation or combat—traits that Jiu Ge excelled in.

"Young Master Jiu Ge, what are you doing?" Rong Shuo tempered his inner anger, striving to maintain a calm tone as he addressed Jiu Ge.

With sharp candor, Jiu Ge retorted, "Old man, your Blacksmith Guild is utterly unreasonable. You stole my friend’s belongings. Today, I’ve co to seek justice for her."

Inside the palanquin, Qin Sisi’s expression shifted abruptly. So, Jiu Ge was here to avenge her. This truly was a grand gift.

After all, her plight had begun at the Blacksmith Guild. If she hadn’t been poisoned and robbed of her potions and Magic Crystal Stones there, she wouldn’t have been ensnared in the Chief Mansion, trapped and despairing.

But how did Jiu Ge know about this?

Thinking deeply, Qin Sisi recalled how the Elderly Fourth had recognized the cloaked figure who poisoned her as a Blacksmith Guild operative when he abducted her.

This was Jiu Ge’s territory; investigating such matters thoroughly would hardly pose a challenge to him.

Upon hearing Jiu Ge’s accusations, Rong Shuo’s face beca grim. As the Guild President of the Midair City Blacksmith Guild, he prided himself on his fair and just conduct, dedicated to advancing forging techniques and assisting all Forging Masters worldwide.

He found Jiu Ge’s words to be outright slander.

"Young Master Jiu Ge, don’t sar my reputation with lies!" Rong Shuo’s eyes widened in fury, clearly incensed.
