Chapter 1036: Chapter 1036: Flaming King Snake

Qin Sisi imdiately realized that her Water Magic power was insufficient to block the rapidly incoming fireball, so she instantly gathered her Fire Attribute Magic Power and unleashed the magic skill of Holy Fire Illusion Sword.

A golden fla ford a huge Longsword, charging towards the incoming fireball. The two types of magical flas collided mid-air, creating a thunderous roar. The energy from the collision expanded outward with a howling force, forcing Qin Sisi to retreat dozens of ters.

Minutes later, as the energy gradually dissipated, the two magic flas neutralized each other’s energy and vanished together.

Qin Sisi was inwardly shocked; the Holy Fire Illusion Sword was among the more formidable magic skills within Fire Magic, and its power had greatly increased due to her possession of Divine Fire.

Yet, such a formidable skill resulted in a draw against the assailant, indicating that the opponent was difficult to deal with.

She maneuvered the Wings of Rainbow to lower her altitude, her gaze swiftly scanning the vicinity, eager to locate the culprit behind the sneak attack.

The mont a pair of red eyes appeared in her view, Qin Sisi tensed up. Before she could react, the adversary released another gigantic fireball, launching an attack towards her.

Qin Sisi had no choice but to deploy the magic skill of Holy Fire Illusion Sword once again, choosing offense as her defense to temporarily avert the imdiate danger.

This ti, the fireball seed even more ferocious, and the Holy Fire Illusion Sword was unable to completely neutralize its energy, allowing the remnants of the fla to spray towards Qin Sisi.

Qin Sisi dared not take this lightly, hastily unleashing the most formidable defensive skill she had learned – Copper Iron Wall – conjuring a sturdy magic shield before her, which finally blocked the second fireball.

However, this ti she was clearly at a disadvantage. The opponent had used only one move, while she, in a flurry, had to utilize two skills just to hold on. It seed the opponent’s magic power might exceed hers.

With a grave look in her eyes, Qin Sisi gazed over, encountering a Flaming King Snake of over ten ters in length, with a body thickness of about one ter, covered with hard scales that emitted a gloomy dark light.

It was called the Flaming King Snake because of the red fla patterns covering its body and its fiery thod of attack – a big gaping mouth that could release a fireball as thick as its body.

If one failed to dodge in ti, or if their strength was insufficient, they would be imdiately incinerated by the fierce flas.

Furthermore, it had a fleshy comb on its head, also red in color, resembling a burning fla as well as a majestic crown.

These reasons were why it got this rather vivid na, and its character had quite the sense of ruling and dominating. It held a strong concept of territory, showing no rcy to any intruders, quickly killing them off.

Qin Sisi flew over its head without any attempt at concealnt, as the Flaming King Snake liked to coil itself around tree trunks, and with the cover of tree leaves, it was difficult to spot from above.

However, the Flaming King Snake was very dissatisfied with the audacity of this intruder, and thus opened its gaping maw wide to launch a fireball attack at Qin Sisi.

Through her Divine Sense, Qin Sisi could see a faint red glow emanating from the Flaming King Snake, revealing that it was a Fifth Order Demonic Beast, one level higher than herself.

However, she wasn’t too afraid since Master Yipiao dared to place a Fifth Order Demonic Beast in the Illusion picture scroll; he believed that they had the strength to defeat such a beast.

But it was clearly unwise to confront it head-on. Though the attack power of the Flaming King Snake was strong, it was rather limited. Only by relying on a variety of different magic skills and taking Spirit Pills to ensure sufficient magic power, did she have a hope of winning.

Just as Qin Sisi had co up with a battle plan, the Flaming King Snake spat out its third Fireball and started to climb towards the top of the tree, wanting to close the distance between itself and Qin Sisi.

At this mont, the Wings of Rainbow added quite an advantage to Qin Sisi. She did not want to get too close to the Flaming King Snake, otherwise, the power of its fireballs would only beco more formidable and harder to deal with. Thus, she controlled the Wings of Rainbow to lift upwards, distancing herself from the Flaming King Snake.

The Flaming King Snake could not do anything about this, as it lacked the ability to fly and could only spit fireballs at its airborne enemy.

Qin Sisi resorted to her old thod for defense, and when she felt fatigued, she would take a Spirit Revitalizing Pill to maintain her magic power.

After dozens of rounds, the Flaming King Snake finally started to show signs of fatigue, while Qin Sisi was also in a sorry state, with her clothes singed and tattered by the remnants of the flas.

But because she had been continually taking pills, her overall condition was much better than that of the Flaming King Snake.

Thinking that those Spirit Pills could be sold for a good amount of money, Qin Sisi felt a bit of pain in her heart, but there was no way to save money at the mont. To secure a victory, she had to keep throwing down Spirit Pills, which is to say, spending money.

After waiting for the right mont, she saw the Flaming King Snake’s fireball spitting slow down, and she knew her opportunity had arrived. During the pause of the Flaming King Snake, she cast the magic skill, Phoenix Fire.

Phoenix Fire is the most powerful skill in Fire Magic. It condenses nearly all of her Fire Attribute Magic Power to summon the remnants of a Phoenix’s spirit that lingered in the mortal world to join the battle.

The red Fire Attribute Magic Power swirled around Qin Sisi, gradually taking the form of a Phoenix’s image. That image was engulfed in golden flas, its brilliant feathers glimring with light, dazzling and stunning. However, the image was quite faint as it was only an illusion, not a real Phoenix.

The Phoenix’s illusion circled elegantly around Qin Sisi, its graceful posture beautiful. It let out a clear and lodious cry, then flew towards the Flaming King Snake at a speed beyond imagination.

The Flaming King Snake felt the strong force and spiritedly spit out two fireballs to block the Phoenix’s approach, but due to the prolonged battle, the power of the fireballs it spat had considerably diminished.

The Phoenix scattered the two fireballs from the Flaming King Snake and continued its advance, and as the Flaming King Snake spat out another fireball at close range, the Phoenix encountered two more fireballs. The imnse attack power was finally depleted, and the image of the Phoenix gradually faded away.

The Flaming King Snake had just breathed a sigh of relief and raised its head, ready to continue the fight, when suddenly it heard the sound of a beautiful and soul-stirring zither. Then, a group of colorful butterflies fluttered by, dancing around the Flaming King Snake.

The vision of the Flaming King Snake was obstructed, and it opened its huge mouth to spit smaller fireballs to attack the butterflies that disturbed it.

However, the butterflies seed not to know fear, many being consud by the Flaming King Snake’s fireballs, followed by countless more butterflies flying in from all directions, surrounding the Flaming King Snake in their midst.

The Flaming King Snake, overwheld by the annoyance, could only continue to spit out fireballs to engulf and chase away the butterflies, but their numbers did not seem to diminish at all.
