Once the coffee was finished and the cup set down, Leng Jian had completely lost the patience to probe the purpose of Qin Nanyu’s visit and bluntly initiated the conversation.

After a long mont, all he could squeeze out was, "Let go!"

Qin Nanyu suddenly beca agreeable and took the initiative to release Leng Jian.

Qin Nanyu was calm and unhurried, not eager to explain, simply sitting quietly in his chair, allowing himself to be scrutinized.

"Is there sothing special about the Luo Xinyan case that requires President Qin to discuss it with personally? If I rember correctly, in this defamation case, the evidence is conclusive; there’s really no room for defense."

Qin Nanyu today was incisive with his words, laying traps with every turn, seemingly testing sothing. Yet, if you really challenged him, you would find that he was just having a normal conversation, leaving you with no leverage or clarity about his objective.
"I don’t know her; I just don’t want so clueless people to hurt Weitian and Yaoyao because of President Qin."

Luo Xinyan was indeed a stranger to him.
Yet her actions targeting Ji Weitian made it impossible for him not to be defensive.
Leng Jian’s concern was reasonable.
Qin Nanyu nodded in approval and didn’t delve deeper into the matter, continuing.
"Actually, it’s nothing much. I’ve heard that the Luo Xinyan case hasn’t been sentenced for a while now, and I’m not sure if there’s been so issue. As you know, the dia has been following closely; it’s fine when I go to ordinary places, but if I visit the police station, I’m afraid the attention the matter gets might change."

"The reason I ca to you today is to ask a favor, actually. I’d like to ask you to make a trip for and find out exactly what’s happening."
