Following the guidance on the tablet, Long Yi and Ai Lin hesitated not and delved deep into the core.

Long Yi only went to the warehouses, avoiding fighting the Golems whenever possible. When he reached the warehouses, the strength of the Giant still allowed him to open the doors.

"All mine!" Long Yi bellowed, not caring what was inside; he stuffed everything into his personal space first. Exiting one warehouse, Long Yi turned directly into another. He and Ai Lin acted separately because Ai Lin also possessed the strength of the Giant and could therefore open the warehouse doors. Unfortunately, Ai Lin’s personal space wasn’t as large, so she only picked a few smaller items to take, leaving the rest to Long Yi who followed shortly after.

When Adaman and Lou Aran arrived, the first thing they saw was many opened warehouse doors, with Long Yi and Ai Lin constantly shuttling between them. But that wasn’t the most eye-catching sight.

What truly drew the attention of those who arrived later was the long line of Golem guards following behind Long Yi, Ai Lin, and Little Zi.

Actually, Adaman and Lou Aran always had an ominous premonition, believing Long Yi and his group would easily gain entry here. However, they still harbored a sliver of hope that the Golem guards of this place, which were extrely powerful, would hinder them. They, as Ancient Powerhouses, might not care about one or two Golems. But if the numbers grew, even they would find them troubleso.

Therefore, they believed that even if Long Yi and Ai Lin made it inside, they would end up trapped and waiting for them to arrive.

But now, they had arrived and the scene before them was completely different.

Long Yi and his group hadn’t fought at all! Instead, they were fleeing! Little Zi weaved among them, constantly casting spells to lure the Golems away!

And this was exactly the tactic that Adaman and Lou Aran wanted to use this ti!

Seeing that Adaman and his group had co, Long Yi crawled out from a warehouse, "You’ve arrived, huh? Don’t just stand there like idiots, join in the fun!"

As Little Zi flew at high speed, she giggled and flew straight towards them. And behind her, the Golems also soared in pursuit! The intelligence of these Golem guards wasn’t high; they didn’t know to attack those opening the warehouses but instinctively chased after the nearest target that caused them the most damage. As Long Yi and Ai Lin were far from them and hadn’t made a move, all Little Zi had to do was hit a Golem guard with a spell missile and then lead them in circles. Whenever a new Golem guard appeared, Little Zi would hit it with a spell missile, drawing away its hostility.

In fact, the Golem guards following them weren’t rely chasing blindly; they were constantly casting spells, firing Light Cannons. But Little Zi was no longer the Little Zi of before; reborn from the Cosmic Stone, she was greatly transford and her Mana alone could challenge even Long Yi. Being a Master of magic, she far surpassed everyone present in magical proficiency, except for Ai Lin.

Therefore, neither Light Cannons nor spells from behind stood any chance of harming her.

But!

Adaman and Lou Aran couldn’t manage!

As the Golem guards charged at them, Adaman and Lou Aran were the first to get nervous. But despite their anxiety, they shouted loudly, "Don’t panic! They won’t attack you if you don’t cast any spells! Don’t even cast defensive spells!"

Before the words fell, a loud bang was heard as a Golem guard broke through a magical shield. It was a soldier from The Divine Auffa Empire, who was too nervous, despite having heard the words of Adaman and Lou Aran.

In an instant, the surrounding Golems changed targets, and a sequence of Light Cannons bombarded them.

Directly attacked, the soldiers had to defend themselves, more shields were erected, and so soldiers, terrified, began to retaliate.

"You fools!"

Adaman cursed loudly, but he dared not make a move. The mont he did, it would surely inflict greater harm on the Golem guards, and he would imdiately beco the target.

"Hold on here for now; as soon as I obtain the supre inheritance, I will return imdiately to save you!"

Lou Aran reacted the quickest, dashing out first with Adaman following closely behind.

At this point, almost all the Golems had been left behind, and although Adaman was annoyed by the stupidity of the soldiers, it gave him a great opportunity.

"The supre inheritance is mine!"

Long Yi suddenly burst out of a warehouse, forgoing the ones not yet opened, and headed straight to the forefront. At the end stood a securely sealed gate, seemingly the place of the supposed supre inheritance.

But soone was a step ahead of Long Yi!

Ai Lin burst out of the warehouse ahead, laughing lightly, "Stop fighting over it—it’s mine!"

Little Zi, beside Long Yi, suddenly sped up while a powerful Mana blast hamred towards Ai Lin. Ai Lin’s entire body was covered by a flashing Array, forming a special Mana shield. The Mana blast, instead of harming her, increased her speed even further!

"You idiot!"

Adaman bellowed.

"Who are you calling an old loser?!"

Long Yi retorted at the sa ti.

Anxious, Adaman couldn’t afford to let Ai Lin, who was aligned with Lou Aran, get there first. That might an the supre inheritance would fall into Lou Aran’s hands! Though irritated, he no longer said anything and instead accelerated even more.

Suddenly, Ai Lin was already at the gate!

In front of the main gate was but a tal platform engraved with an Array.

Just as Ai Lin was about to step on it, Lou Aran threw a golden disk from his hand. The disk absorbed Lou Aran in an instant, then overturned to emit a beam of light that struck the tal platform squarely. Almost at the mont of impact, Lou Aran appeared out of thin air on the platform.

"Hahaha! After a hundred years, the supre inheritance is ultimately mine!" Lou Aran laughed wildly as his figure vanished within the Array. Ai Lin raised her hand and fired a deadly spell, which, however, passed through Lou Aran and struck the wall.

The Array then dimd down, and Ai Lin, stepping on it, elicited no response.

"One minute,"

Adaman spoke, his tone icy cold. He had never anticipated that Lou Aran would have prepared such a move. With this developnt, he was truly at a loss. However, the strongest legacy was incredibly dangerous, and even if Lou Aran entered first, he might not necessarily obtain the true legacy.

At this ti, Adaman stood in the middle, with Long Yi, Ai Lin, and Little Zi arrayed around him. When Adaman snapped back to his senses, he suddenly realized that neither Long Yi nor Ai Lin seed to be on his side.

But Adaman wasn’t worried. If he had refrained from taking action before only because he wanted to vie with Lou Aran for first place, now he no longer had that concern.

He glanced at the progress of the Array beneath Ai Lin’s feet, half a minute remained.

Once the Array finished recharging, he would imdiately act to force Ai Lin off it!

That’s what Adaman thought to himself.

But at that mont, Ai Lin walked down from the Array on her own accord.

"After you, Adaman," Ai Lin said with a smile.

Adaman was startled; he hadn’t expected Ai Lin to yield her place to him.

"Foolish girl! Have you gone mad?" Long Yi shouted.

"Haha! I don’t really care about this so-called strongest legacy. But as long as you don’t get it, I’m happy!" Ai Lin said, clapping her hands.

"Fine!!"

Before Adaman teleported away, all he saw was a figure rushing toward Ai Lin.

After Adaman was teleported in, he saw Lou Aran not far from him, desperately maintaining a magical shield!

"How are you..." Adaman began, but Lou Aran imdiately roared to interrupt him, "Don’t talk! Quickly activate your shield!"

An alert Adaman imdiately activated his shield. Almost at the sa ti, he felt an imnse invisible pressure coming from the front! It wasn’t until then that Adaman took a proper look at Lou Aran and saw that one of his arms was gone!

Soon, the pressure faded, and both of them deactivated their shields.

Only now did Adaman truly have the ti to look around.

They were in an extrely vast and spacious hemispherical space, brightened by the luminescence of runes. In the center of this space on the ground, a golden ball floated silently.

"Is that the strongest legacy?"

Adaman asked.

"That should be the strongest legacy,"

Lou Aran said, his voice sounding sowhat weak.

Adaman approached Lou Aran, only to see that his face was pale, an arm along with the sleeve was gone, and the golden disc he always carried with him was now only a fraction of its original size.

"When I arrived, I saw the strongest legacy and tried to rush toward it, only to be blown away by an invisible energy. Not only that, but I lost an arm, and even the Golden Hamr, which is also a Giant legacy, got shattered,"

Lou Aran said, gasping for air.

Adaman’s brow furrowed deeply. Was Lou Aran deceiving him? His current pitiful state seed genuine, but thinking about his usual cunning manner, and the fact it involved the strongest legacy, he couldn’t believe it!

"Then let try!"

Adaman roared as the Golden Hamr in his hand surged with an imnse Giant power, and Adaman himself swelled in size once more, his entire body turning a dark golden color!

Once in this state, Adaman could absorb various energies; no matter what was hurled at him, he was unafraid!

He gripped the Golden Hamr tightly, advancing step by step. He even completed half of the journey without anything happening.

Could it be, this ti I will succeed?

Adaman’s heartbeat suddenly accelerated.

As he took the next step, he felt a terrifying energy blasting from the golden ball!

Adaman imdiately shouted and planted his feet, intending to bear the energy head-on. But the instant the energy touched his skin, he realized he couldn’t withstand it!

"Damn it!"

Boom!

The shield was deployed, and the energy forced Adaman back, all the way to the edge, before it finally stopped.

When the energy vanished, Adaman looked down and saw that his shoulder was cleanly sliced off, as if by a knife, missing a section! And the wound was completely cauterized, with not a drop of blood flowing out! (To be continued.
