"What’s the matter?" Long Yi asked.

"The Forgotten Ones invading the Heaven Realm suddenly surrendered, and more than a dozen of the high command, including both the new and old Prophets, have all disappeared," Belle said.

By the ti Long Yi and Elsa rushed to the planet that had previously been occupied by The Forgotten Ones, it was already taken over by the Crystal Demons. All of The Forgotten Ones had disard, with their armor neatly placed to one side. The frail, one-eyed White-skinned riders, on the other hand, gathered on the other side, shivering uncontrollably.

In charge of commanding here was an Avatar loaded with the main consciousness of Belle. Naturally, her real body was within the Crystal Demon Plane, and unlike the Avatar that had entered The Forgotten Plane before, this one held more information and was more powerful.

"What in the world happened?" Long Yi asked the Belle in front of him, and the Belle who had been following by Long Yi’s side imdiately disintegrated into nothingness.

"I don’t know what happened now either. Our war has been ongoing without a stop. But a few days ago, during our routine attack, they suddenly announced their surrender, and their acting Commander told that the Prophet and the other high-ranking officers around him had all disappeared," Belle said.

"What about Gulu!" Elsa imdiately asked. Gulu was one of The Forgotten Ones who had been under Elsa’s control, and he had always followed close to the Prophet.

"Gulu has also disappeared; it looks like he was taken away," Belle said.

Long Yi furrowed his brow and pondered for a mont before finally speaking out, "This is bad."

Elsa thought for a bit and asked, "Do you think these Worms already know we have control over the Hive?"

Long Yi nodded and said, "The influence of the Hive spans across Planes, but that is supposed to be only the great Planes created by the gods. Perhaps the Hive’s signal has leaked?"

"That shouldn’t be the case. If the Hive could influence this place, then those Worms should have appeared before us to obey the command imdiately," Elsa said.

"I don’t know, but anyhow, these fellows have fled."

Long Yi thought carefully for a while, then imdiately took out the Hive.

"I must activate the Hive right away; there’s no ti for them to react!"

The Hive was activated again, and this ti Long Yi did not bother to think of any excuses; after all, once all the Worms in this last Plane are dealt with, the entire three major Planes would be entirely safe.

Through the Hive, Long Yi ordered all the Worms to imdiately head to this planet to et with him.

So in the days that followed, the Worms identified by the Hive continually converged here, and were constantly swallowed by the Serpent. With the signal of the last Worm disappearing, the very last Worm of the entire Plane was gone.

But, Long Yi’s frown deepened.

The imposter deity ensconced on Dragon Star did not appear, nor did the Prophet.

"The worst case has happened," Long Yi sighed, "These Worms have chosen to integrate their consciousness with their hosts."

Usually, Worms would not make such a choice, because once fused with the host’s consciousness, it ans they have beco the host. Any injury suffered by the host ans they themselves are injured, and the death of the host also signifies their own death. The only reason they would make such a choice is that they already knew of the existence of the Hive!

Now, on Dragon Star.

Inside an absolutely sealed chamber, the shape of the imposter deity Simu had just recovered from a state of extre fear, and so had several of The Forgotten Ones by her side. Not long ago, they had just witnessed a Worm of their kind suddenly stop responding to everything around it, and at any cost wanted to leave this place. In their consciousness, there was only one thing: to head to that planet, to et with Long Yi.

"Indeed, I guessed right; Long Yi has already taken control of the Hive!"

One of The Forgotten Ones said, which was once the old Prophet, but now it was nothing more than a down-and-out refugee.

"That bastard!" Simu fud with fury, her divine might rippling at any mont, throwing The Forgotten Ones around her into disarray.

"Fortunately, the small Plane where The Forgotten Ones have taken refuge, while likewise isolated from the influence of the Hive, did not block our kind’s ability to sense each other. When we realized all our kind had vanished in an instant, we imdiately fused our consciousness with that of the hosts, narrowly escaping disaster," said the new Prophet, but now he is no different from the old Prophet, both rely down-and-out refugees.

"Now we are no longer Worms, the Hive has lost its control over us, and our mission has also changed," the imposter deity Simu spoke.

"Yes, the dream of becoming a true god by devouring our kind has now beco an extravagant hope. So, what is your plan?" the old Prophet asked cautiously.

Here, among the once Worms, the strongest was now the imposter deity Simu, and whether it was the new or old Prophets or the refugees they brought with them, they had entirely lost the abilities of a Worm. Now they were at best a group of ordinary Forgotten Ones with the consciousness of Worms. Thus, they must and could only rely on the imposter deity Simu.

"Actually, I’ve been considering this scenario for a long ti," the imposter deity said gravely, as a group of The Forgotten Ones listened obediently.

"I wondered, what would happen if I can’t beco a god? What would happen if I no longer care about my so-called mission? Then I thought, with my current abilities, I’m fully capable of creating an invincible army to contend with Long Yi. Now, I’m no longer a Worm, and I don’t have to worry about the threats from the Hive. Yet, I have fully beco a god! I once nearly killed a powerful life form from Hell using Divine Power, and now, naturally, I can use Divine Power to arm up an army that is absolutely terrifying!"
