The biggest problem was that he didn’t know where Long Yi ca from. Suddenly, there’s a guy popping up and saying he’d support him in becoming the Group Leader? Although he himself was very strong, the Black Sea Demon had twenty thousand people and over a dozen warships! What could one person do?

Looking at Mahal’s hesitant gaze, Long Yi laughed, "Were you shocked by my idea to the point that you don’t know how to respond?"

Mahal nodded, neither affirming nor denying.

"No worries, co on, give so useful information. I’ll show you my sincerity first, then we can talk more leisurely later, how about that?"

The useful information Long Yi needed naturally referred to the hiding places of the Black Sea Demon, the locations of various mines, and the deploynt of their forces. Now Mahal had two options. The first option was to give Long Yi false information, luring him into a trap, and then reporting the matter to Group Leader Yahola to eliminate Long Yi. However, there would be a huge problem—how to explain his relationship with Long Yi? He had been talking and laughing with Long Yi in front of everyone, even admitting they were friends in front of others. Suddenly, he’d report that Long Yi wanted to help him beco Group Leader? Mahal estimated that if he were the Group Leader, his first action would be to eliminate himself.

So, Mahal decided boldly to choose the second option.

Mahal told Long Yi all the real information he knew, including the regular hiding spots of the fleet, the peripheral small mines, and their favored ambush channels—he told Long Yi everything.

Although Long Yi didn’t possess any ntal magic, based on observing Mahal’s micro-expressions, he believed that Mahal hadn’t lied.

"Then, you can wait for my sincerity," Long Yi said.

Returning from the mine, Long Yi still had a smile on his face, while Mahal also managed a slight smile. His feelings were complex; he felt he might have been too impulsive. He suddenly thought of a terrifying possibility: what if Long Yi was sent by the Group Leader to test him? Although the Group Leader had never done such a thing, it was still possible he’d have a sudden whim! But he reassured himself by thinking that if Long Yi really were sent by the Group Leader, he would probably have died down in the mine, considering Long Yi’s punch that fractured the rock layer; back then, his completely aura-less self would have been pulverized by a single punch!

"How about it, Mr. Long Yi? Was it fun down there?"

Yati, the squad leader, was waiting outside the cave, feeling sowhat uneasy. He had inquired about the newly arrived spaceship; there was no one nad Long Yi on it, which made his sudden appearance suspicious. Could he be an enemy, coercing Mahal in so way? Looking at Mahal’s facial expression, it didn’t look voluntary. But when Long Yi and Mahal appeared, the two were talking and laughing; Yati was even more puzzled—maybe Long Yi wasn’t an enemy after all?

"I had a lot of fun today; thank you for the hospitality. I won’t disturb you anymore, goodbye," Long Yi said, waving his hand then turning and walking in a different direction. Yati was about to signal a few n to follow him but was stopped by Mahal.

"Don’t bother him. It’s dangerous," Mahal said.

"Hey, little brother, are you hiding sothing from ?" Yati asked sternly.

Mahal sighed, "Actually, this Long Yi is a bounty hunter. Previously, didn’t I go to the casino a few tis? I made a big bet, lost, and ran away, thinking I’d be safe back at the group. But who would have expected that the casino would hire a bounty hunter to capture !" Mahal said.

This was an excuse Mahal concocted on his way back, as the manner and timing of his departure with Long Yi were very problematic. If he didn’t offer a reasonable explanation, the situation would surely worsen.

"So that’s it!" Yati suddenly realized. If he was a bounty hunter, everything could be explained. Bounty hunters usually operate alone, traveling the cosmos in their small spaceships looking for their quarry, so all the inconsistencies now made sense.

"Little brother, why didn’t you tell if you were in trouble? Wouldn’t I have helped you if you had said sothing?" Yati said, patting Mahal’s shoulder.

"The bounty hunter is very strong. If I had spoken up, I was afraid we both might not have survived," Mahal said with a helpless expression.

I just ntioned it casually! Who the hell wants to help you! Yati thought to himself.

"How about I tell the Group Leader about this, and let him help you sort it out?" Yati suddenly suggested with a smile.

"No! Definitely not! I still haven’t recovered from my last injuries. If the Group Leader finds out about this huge trouble, I might be beaten to death by him. It’s better if only you know about this; please don’t tell anyone," Mahal pleaded earnestly.

At that mont, Yati felt extrely joyful; he had never seen Mahal beg so humbly before, instantly boosting his vanity to new heights.

"So, did you repay him or did he just leave?" Yati asked.

"Where do I have money? But you know, the Group Leader has always liked , rewarded with so trinkets which aren’t worth much, and I saved up a little. I gave him all that and even told him the location of my hiding place. Only then did he leave," Mahal said.

"No way, brother, did he torture you? You even told him your hiding spot?" Although Yati was surprised, there was more schadenfreude in his eyes.

"No, but, he gave this," Mahal said, handing over the Cosmic Stone fragnt he had been clutching tightly to Yati.

"What’s this supposed to be?" Yati asked, puzzled, looking at the Cosmic Stone fragnt—it was just an ordinary piece after all. What was so special about it?

"This was obtained from that abandoned workface. Long Yi, with his bare hands and fists, shattered the rock layer in front of and pried this Cosmic Stone from the rocks," Mahal said.

At first, Yati didn’t react. But almost imdiately, he realized how terrifying this was! Because the mine below isolated energy! No one could use energy there! And yet, Long Yi had smashed the rock layer with his fists!

Yati glanced at the miners nearby, who were laboriously smashing the rocks with big hamrs to extract Cosmic Stones from within.

"I understand," Yati nodded. Clearly, this kind of practical demonstration was more effective than any so-called torture.

Yati no longer pursued the matter, and Mahal felt sowhat relieved. The next step was to see how Long Yi would demonstrate his sincerity.

Human Realm, White Dragon Empire.

The chef had been berated by several quartermasters for nearly half an hour already.

"You say you eat food, that’s fine! We don’t even mind when you eat our ore! But how could your Giant Swallow Dragon eat even our weapons and equipnt? It’s one thing to eat a few swords, but you even ate our Battle Armor! Even if those are mass-produced, you must still pay for them!"

The chef kept a smile on his face, and the resting form of the Giant Swallow Dragon lay prostrate on the ground, looking guilty. Even so, the quartermasters berated him for a while longer before leaving.

At that mont, the chef helplessly raised his head and, stroking his chin lined with a grizzled beard, looked at the Giant Swallow Dragon next to him, "Brother, can we change things up? Why have you taken a liking to tal products lately?"

No matter how she entered the Eternal Battlefield, she was not dood to spend a lifeti there; she certainly had a way out! Most people here had given up hope of leaving, but what if they attached themselves to Elsa?

Then things were different!

Of course, so well-inford newcors pointed out the conflict between Elsa and the Emperor of the Celestial Clan. But given the long-standing knowledge of Elsa’s capabilities, she definitely wasn’t exiled here by the Celestial Clan’s Emperor.

Moreover, even if Elsa had really been exiled, given her incredible strength, wouldn’t she still command imnse power on the Eternal Battlefield?

So, even though so people initially sneered and mocked Little Ai, soon this derision turned into envy.
