Before Ralph could finish his words, Matthew, who had initially been looking down, suddenly stood up, grabbed his collar, and pressed half of Ralph’s body onto the desk.
He leaned forward, his expression cold, eyes sharp as ice, "Do you think I’m unaware of what you’ve done?"
Ralph was shocked.
How could he possibly know!
Matthew pressed him further, "If it weren’t for the fact that I owe your father, I’d have dismbered you by now! You better rember, you can ss with anyone in this world, except Chloe. If I find out you’re up to sothing again, Ralph... I won’t let you return to Y country!"
He released him with a fierce and arrogant deanor.
Ralph lay on the desk, staring at him blankly, unable to process the situation...
"Mr. Morgan, Chloe is here."
The intercom on the desk buzzed with Jas Heady’s voice.
Matthew frowned, "Tell her I’m on a business trip."
Clearly, he did not want to et.
"I’ve already said so. But she..." Jas emphasized helplessly, "She insists on coming up to your office, I...can’t stop her."
"I understand," Matthew replied simply, and cut off the intercom.
Moving away from the desk, he picked up his suit jacket in one hand, and with the other, he grabbed Ralph and headed straight for the office’s lounge.

Chloe hurriedly walked in, looking at the empty office, her initial expectation instantly plumted.

Jas followed in, looking at the room void of Matthew’s presence, sowhat surprised, but still said, "See, I told you, Mr. Morgan is on a business trip."
"Did he say when he’d be back?" Chloe’s voice was noticeably dejected.
