Perhaps Lin Fan’s actions were too domineering.

He had truly managed to intimidate everyone present.

"Fellow cultivator, they’ve already revealed themselves; do you still insist on being stubborn?" the middle-aged man said. Throughout his years of slaying demons, he had encountered countless individuals bewitched by their tricks, but never soone like Lin Fan.

Knowing full well they were demons and yet acting so indifferent.

It was truly infuriating.

Chun i and Qiu Dong exchanged glances and kept their distance from Lin Fan. Though slightly intoxicated, now that things had escalated, there was no longer any need to hide.

"My lord, I quite fancy you, but you’re of the Human Clan, and we’re demons. The two cannot coexist, so I regret we must offend you," Chun i said coquettishly, her sharp nails glinting with a faint light.

Now, their opponent was the yellow-robed cultivator.

Though he seed formidable, there were three of them and only one of him.

The Old Woman spoke sinisterly, "You cultivator... truly despicable. But to face just us three alone, don’t you think you’re being overly arrogant? We’ve poisoned the wine; even if you’re a Golden Core Master, you’d still beco powerless and unable to showcase your strength."

She turned to Lin Fan, "Boy, your arrogance just now—this old hag has tolerated you for long enough. Now that you’ve seen our true faces, do you still have the courage you had earlier?"

"You don’t understand what I’m saying? All of you, sit down!" Lin Fan lightly slapped the table.

At that mont,

The surroundings changed.

The Great Divine Power of the Yellow Springs Hell erupted instantly.

The Yellow Wind Demon had only managed to grasp the entryway to the Yellow Springs Hell—rely manifesting the Naihe Bridge—but its power was still astonishing. When cultivators of a similar realm encountered the Yellow Wind Demon utilizing the Yellow Springs Hell, they wouldn’t necessarily be able to withstand it.

Now,

A chilling and eerie aura enveloped everyone.

The Yellow Springs’ waters, Naihe Bridge, Gate of Hell—all appeared, as the Hell Origin coiled around Lin Fan.

With the release of the Great Divine Power of the Yellow Springs Hell, Lin Fan had already ascended to its highest level.

He was the ruler of Hell.

He could communicate directly with the true Hell Origin.

Everyone present—he only needed one thought to end them all.

Any divine skill, if one wished to cultivate it to its peak, required exceptional enlightennt, the assistance of rare materials, and even millennia—otherwise, it was simply impossible.

For most cultivators, their lifespans were limited.

Spending it on cultivating great divine powers was utterly beyond their reach.

"What is this place?"

The Old Woman and others, staring at the horrifying scene around them, were already stunned with terror. These were simply ordinary demons—where had they ever witnessed such a hellish spectacle? With each breath, the air seed freezing and bone-chilling, as if they’d fallen into an ice cave.

"This is Hell," Lin Fan replied.

The yellow-robed cultivator stared at Lin Fan in shock. He had thought Lin Fan was just so foolish companion, but to his amazent, Lin Fan possessed such overwhelming power. He felt his face flush—perhaps Lin Fan never even took these demons seriously.

And here he was, denouncing them.

It all seed so embarrassing.

"Hell..."

The Old Woman couldn’t believe it, yet the terrifying aura entwined around her was all too real. She feared that perhaps one casual thought from Lin Fan could end her life entirely.

It was often the seemingly harmless person who turned out the most dangerous.

Lin Fan withdrew the divine skill, and hell vanished, returning everyone to the inside of the room. The horrifying scene from re monts ago had completely dissipated.

"Sit down, all of you," Lin Fan ordered.

The yellow-robed cultivator sealed his magic realm, sheathed his sword, and sat down silently with his head lowered.

The Old Woman and the two girls also withdrew their demon forms, shrinking back and trembling, not daring to breathe—afraid even a single breath might invite their death.

"Whatever you were doing previously, keep doing it as you were," Lin Fan said.

He was decidedly not pleased with the current situation.

Chun i and Qiu Dong trembled as they approached Lin Fan, their hands quivering as they rested them on his shoulders. They could never have imagined that the man they had attempted to lure was the most dangerous among them.

"Don’t be nervous; I’m not a bad person. Don’t be scared," Lin Fan consoled the two female demons’ frightened little hearts. Such lovely girls—why had they been scared this much?

Then, Lin Fan turned to the yellow-robed cultivator. "What’s your deal, really? Coming here in the dead of night, only to ruin the fun when I finally et so demons who enjoy setting up elaborate scenarios. I was just savoring the atmosphere, and you went ahead and barged in, ruining my mood and affecting my appetite—did you realize?"

"... Fellow cultivator, you’re right," the yellow-robed cultivator replied, lowering his head, then weakly added, "but they’re demons."

"What’s wrong with demons? They stayed up all night cooking and drinking, letting take liberties with them. Even if they haven’t earned rit, they’ve certainly worked hard. I knew they were demons from the start. Did I say anything?

"No, I said nothing. Because all I saw were three demons treating exceptionally well."

Lin Fan then turned back to Chun i, stroking her delicate hands. "Chun i, don’t you agree with what I said?"

Chun i was terrified, stamring, "Yes... yes... my lord, you’re absolutely right."

The two girls were utterly frightened.

They felt like, in this man’s eyes, they were nothing more than insignificant imps—he could crush them with ease.

"Why are you stamring? Hurry up and drink so wine to ease your throat," Lin Fan said, handing her a cup to comfort her.

He had been wanting the yellow-robed cultivator to leave; why insist on staying behind? Was it truly so amusing to ruin soone else’s fun?

Everyone knew life wasn’t easy.

Walking through desolate mountains and wilderness, when you encounter a few demons with a bit of flair, shouldn’t you cherish it? Instead, crashing their event—wasn’t that excessively rude?

The Old Woman felt terrible. Fully aware of the truth now, she felt like she had embarrassed all demons.

Lin Fan had known they were demons all along, yet instead of exposing them, he willingly indulged in their company. If this were told to other demons, they wouldn’t even believe it.

The yellow-robed cultivator hung his head even lower, unable to retort.

Lin Fan’s reasoning made sense, yet he still felt sothing was off.

Being attended to by demons.

Was this sothing humans would actually do?

Seeing the three demons unwilling to relax as before, Lin Fan reassured them, "Don’t worry. Just be yourselves as you were earlier—I won’t do anything to harm you."

"Do you know how the Human Clan and Demon Clan ca to be?"

Perhaps bored with drinking, he started talking mythology to these clueless loners.

The three demons froze, never having considered such questions.

The yellow-robed cultivator felt the topic was sowhat profound. He had never contemplated it before, but now hearing the question struck a chord deep within him. How did it all originate?

Lin Fan raised his cup, drank alone, then spoke wistfully, "Legend has it that before the heavens and earth ford, when chaos was first birthed, a massive egg existed at the heart of it all. The egg’s size was unimaginable; one day, a giant erged from the egg. Seeing the emptiness and desolation of chaos, he felt lonely and wielded a giant axe to split the chaos in two, creating heaven and earth."

"Fearful that heaven and earth might rge again, he stood between them, pressing his feet on the ground and holding up the sky. Over ti, the sky grew higher, and the ground thicker, until after eighteen thousand years, heaven and earth no longer threatened to close."

"But this giant exhausted himself and died. His lighter essence beca humans; his heavier essence transford into demons."

"Thus, regardless of whether one is of the Human Clan or Demon Clan, both originate from a singular being. When you trace bloodlines back far enough, they are the sa."

The three demons were stupefied. They had never heard such tales before, finding the idea remarkable. That humans and demons might have shared the sa origins—it was difficult to believe.

The yellow-robed cultivator was deeply shaken by Lin Fan’s statents. "May I ask, fellow cultivator, how do you know this?"

He doubted Lin Fan’s claims.

Complete nonsense.

Utterly baseless.

Lin Fan smiled without answering, pointing skyward and then downward. "I did not derive it from anywhere. This sky, this earth revealed it to . I know you don’t believe , but let ask you this: cultivators of the Human Clan have been known to marry demon-kind, and so even bear hybrid children. Can you tell why it’s possible for a Demon and Human to conceive offspring?"

The yellow-robed cultivator was dumbfounded.

Left speechless, he could offer no answer. He had heard of such occurrences before, of Human and Demon unions—and their tragic offspring who were invariably slaughtered. Humanity would never tolerate such intermingling.

"Because we originally ca from the sa source. Humans embody both good and evil. Demons are no different; there are benevolent ones and malevolent ones. These two demon girls are undoubtedly good. If they’ve strayed, it must be due to coercion from that Old Demon woman!" Lin Fan declared.

The Old Woman, hearing this, lost her balance and imdiately dropped to her knees, pleading, "Please, my lord, have rcy on ! I’m a good demon, truly!"

She cried inwardly.

Why was it that her aged and unappealing appearance made people heap bla upon her?

This level of injustice was unbearable.

The yellow-robed cultivator was profoundly shaken by Lin Fan’s argunt but remained skeptical.

"Old woman, stand up quickly. I was rely joking; don’t take it to heart. You’re all quite wonderful—your hospitality was impeccable. Based on that alone, I won’t harm you," Lin Fan assured.

The Old Woman was scared out of her wits.

"Fellow cultivator, your words struck deeply. I’m struggling to process it all," said the yellow-robed cultivator.

Lin Fan chuckled lightly, "I understand. With your level of comprehension, it’s undoubtedly difficult to grasp. Just treat it like an old myth; that’s good enough."

Even Lin Fan himself wasn’t sure of what he was babbling about.

It was nothing more than so idle talk while drinking wine.

Whether they believed or not—that was entirely up to them.

The yellow-robed cultivator felt a bit embarrassed. This fellow’s manner of speaking was too straightforward, even hurtful, but it didn’t matter. After all, this man was adept. What could he say?

"Alright, it’s late. Ti to retire. Fellow cultivator, you’ll stay here tonight, and tomorrow we’ll set out together," Lin Fan announced. He had been wandering without direction and now needed a new guide. While the yellow-robed cultivator had his quirks, he seed reliable—unlikely to lead him astray.

Chun i and Qiu Dong said, "My lord, let us serve you tonight."

The two girls seed convinced by Lin Fan’s earlier rhetoric.

A shared origin.

If he was willing to leave them with offspring, wouldn’t that be ideal?

Lin Fan waved a hand, "Thank you, ladies, for your kindness."

"But I’m not quite ready to father Sun Cranes or prepare for offspring that are part Crane-man."

"Your kindness is appreciated."

Sun Crane children? Hard pass.

Letting them touch—sure, that’s acceptable.
