Chapter 71: Chapter 71 Encountered Again
Gu Wei opened his eyes and looked out the window again.
The driver, Jiang Bin, had already gotten out of the car and was asking Su ixi about the situation.
“Miss, why is it you again? Your car broke down yesterday, so how co it’s broken again today?”
Su ixi replied with a wry smile, “I don’t know, perhaps I’m simply fated to et you guys. Every ti my car breaks down, I run into you.”

Su ixi stepped aside.
Inside the car, Xiao Ding asked Gu Wei, “Boss, is she the girl in your photo?”

But Xiao Ding was confused, “If it’s not her, then why are you still staring at her, boss?”
Gu Wei was indeed looking at Su ixi.
He had seen the bloodstains on her.
“Get out of the car and ask why she has bloodstains on her.”

Xiao Ding understood and got out to inquire with Su ixi. After a while, he ca back and reported, “The lady said she’s a doctor. She perford a cesarean section for a villager today, and the bloodstains might have been accidentally transferred.”
She was performing cesarean sections?
Gu Wei said, “Go ask her where she’s from and why she’s here.”
Xiao Ding was puzzled, “Boss, you seem really concerned about her.”
“Just go ask. What if she’s hiding sothing? We still need to be cautious.”
Xiao Ding reluctantly went back down.
In a while, he ca back up and said, “She ntioned that she ca here to assist, and it hasn’t been a week yet. She isn’t well-acquainted with many things around here. Boss, anything else you want to ask?”
Gu Wei replied, “No.”
Then, he leaned back and dozed off.
In a while, Jiang Bin also ca back.
Jiang Bin said, “The van has been fixed. It was just that the lady isn’t used to driving such a dilapidated vehicle. She kept stalling it and forgetting to change gears, but the health clinic doesn’t have a better car for her. I just gave her another lesson.”

Su ixi got into the van, and as she started the vehicle, a military truck passed by her. She looked up and vaguely saw a tall figure sitting in the back.

Dr. Ma responded, “The more you drive, the more accustod you’ll beco. That car has been running for nearly 20 years. If sothing’s wrong, it’s the car’s fault, not yours.”
Sarah asked, “Dr. Ma, didn’t you request a new car from the higher-ups?”
“They haven’t approved it yet, saying this one can last a few more months, might be next year.”
Sarah stuck out her tongue.
Su ixi said, “I’m going to change my clothes, then I’ll go out to grab sothing to eat.”
She had expended a lot of energy today and hadn’t eaten much at the patient’s house. Now that she’d relaxed a bit, she suddenly felt very hungry.
Dr. Ma quickly told her to go and asked her to rest after eating.
Then, Dr. Ma started discussing with Dr. Sarah about the cesarean procedure Su ixi had perford today, leaving Dr. Sarah quite astonished.

The lady boss and the waitress were cleaning up the leftovers on one of the large tables.

Su ixi was surprised, “They haven’t left yet?”

The lady boss then asked her, “What would you like to eat today?”

The lady boss also laughed, “Between mutton and beef, pick one.”

She rembered Gu Wei telling her, if you ever feel like soone is staring at you, don’t doubt it—it’s surely happening!
At that mont, she had to be cautious and shake off any tail.
She looked up, instinctively in the direction she felt the gaze coming from.
The mont she saw that tall figure, her cellphone suddenly slipped from her hand.

But at that mont, Gu Wei’s gaze retracted, and he found a table to sit at, back facing her, as if he didn’t know her.
His companions Xiao Ding, Da Liu, and the driver Jiang Bin all greeted her.
Jiang Bin said, “Miss, looks like we’re really fated to et, bumping into each other here again!”
Su ixi’s gaze still on Gu Wei, she only recovered upon hearing Jiang Bin, “Yes, what a coincidence.”
Noticing Su ixi looking at Gu Wei, Xiao Ding felt sothing was amiss. There seed to be so recognition between the two.
But being tall and handso like Gu Wei attracts looks wherever he goes. It was normal for a girl to watch him.
Da Liu went to order—they picked everything, mutton, beef, and bread.
The lady boss was extrely warm towards them, obviously recognizing them as regulars.
After ordering, seeing Su ixi alone, Da Liu invited her over, “Doctor Miss, since we’re so fated to et, why not co over and join us for the al?”
