Chapter 19: Chapter 19 Her Mom
“The tail of the car hit a tree.”
“Ah?” Last ti she crashed into Qi Anran’s car, it cost her 2000 yuan, wouldn’t she have to spend a lot of money to fix it now if she hit this car?
Gu Wei got out and took a look, then ca back and said, “It’s nothing serious, just a small dent. Insurance can cover it.”

Qi Anran and Han Ningzhen parked their car in the garage and got out.
Soon after, a Land Rover also drove in.

There was no elevator in the staff parking lot, so Qi Anran and Han Ningzhen had to take the stairs to the first floor of the outpatient building to take the elevator.
Just as they reached the first floor, Qi Anran heard soone calling him.
“You… aren’t you Ah Xi’s boyfriend? I think I’ve seen you before.”
Qi Anran turned around to see a woman in her fifties standing beside him.
He soon recognized her; the woman was Su ixi’s mother. He had seen her once before when he bumped into her while shopping at the supermarket with Su ixi.
Han Ningzhen was displeased when she heard Fang Xin refer to Qi Anran in that manner, “Don’t you have any awareness? You don’t even know how long your daughter and my boyfriend have been broken up. He’s her ex now.”
“Broken up?” Fang Xin felt it was a terrible sha.
Back then, she had thought very highly of Qi Anran. After finding out he was a doctor, she was even happier. It’s great to have a doctor in the family, she thought; in the future, if anyone fell ill, they could rely on him.
“Auntie, I need to leave now, we still have work to do,” said Qi Anran, not wanting to deal with Fang Xin any longer.
For so reason, Fang Xin suddenly burst into tears. “Oh, I knew our Ah Xi wasn’t good enough for you. She’s so ungrateful, not even helping her own mother. How could she possibly value your relationship?”

“What are you planning to do?”

“I deleted them, as soon as I got back last night,” replied Qi Anran.
Fang Xin went to the pain managent departnt but didn’t rush to find Su ixi. Instead, she sat down on a bench outside.
Last year, she ca to see Su ixi once, hoping to borrow tens of thousands of yuan. But not only did Su ixi refuse to lend the money, but she also had security escort her out under the pretext that Fang Xin was affecting her work.
Because of that incident, the nurses here recognized Fang Xin.
As soon as she arrived, the nurses at the entrance watched her vigilantly.
