"No!" Mattie scread as she furiously threw things around the room, and continuously scread at the top of her lungs.

"Astrid will pay for this!" she yelled. "She’s ruined my brand deals! She took my man! She embarrassed ! She’s going to regret the day she ever crossed ! I will make her go through hell!" tears rushed down her eyes in pain.

Stephan tried to grab her, but she pushed him away. "What’s wrong with you? Please, you can’t continue this way!" Stephan let out trying to calm her down.

Mattie didn’t answer. She just kept screaming and throwing things. "You don’t understand! You bastard, I was tricked into getting married to you!" she shouted.

"Astrid has ruined ! She’s taken everything from ! My reputation, my business, everything!"

Stephan tried to grab her again, but she fought him off. "Mattie, stop! You are going to hurt yourself or the baby," Stephan said, trying to reason with her.

At the ntion of the baby, she stopped and this made Stephan breathe in relief.

"A baby?" she asked and he nodded his head, "You dare to talk about a stupid baby!" Stephan’s gist clenched, he is pained at how she is treating herself because she is pregnant with his child.

"Your company is draining Stephan! You can’t even save yourself, let alone ! You’re just a useless husband who can’t even protect his wife now! You are at Julian’s rcy!"

With a fierce cry, Mattie grabbed a vase and hurled it across the room. It shattered against the wall, sending shards of glass flying everywhere. Stephan dodged the flying glass, his eyes fixed on Mattie’s furious face.

"Mattie, stop!" Stephan yelled, trying to grab her again.

"Never! You want a baby right?" she yelled as she ran to the bar and grabbed a bottle of wine. "What are you doing?" Stephan rushed after her and quickly took it away from her.

"Why are you acting like this Mattie?" Stephan asked.

Mattie’s face was red with anger. "That is because I hate the stupid baby! Since it can’t be of use to ." she spat. "I hate you. I hate everything we had together."

Stephan looked pained. "I hate that I cheated on Julian with you! I hate that I let you touch . You’re disgusting, and I can never love you!"

Stephan’s face darkened. "Mattie, that’s not fair," he said, his voice rising.

But Mattie wouldn’t stop. "I only love Julian," she said, her voice cold. "I’ll never love you. You’re just a replacent for him when it cos to sending nothing else, and I’ll never accept you!"

Stephan’s face twisted in anger, he could no longer hold it in. He raised his hand and slapped Mattie across the face. Mattie’s head snapped back, and she stumbled away, shocked and silent.

As Mattie stumbled away, Stephan’s anger seed to grow. He grabbed her arm and spun her around, his eyes now laced with fury.

"You’ll never love ?" Stephan repeated, his voice hurt and disappointed. "You can never accept ?

Mattie was too stunned to speak, her eyes widened in shock as she touched her face, her fingers tracing the sting of Stephan’s slap. She stared at him, her voice trembling.

"You just slapped ?" Mattie asked, her eyes welling up with tears. "Yes, I did, why are you shocked? You made

this way rember?"

She pushed him away In anger, "You monster! That is why you can never get any girl to be with you! Julian is far better than you!" she cried out.

Mattie’s face crumpled, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I want Julian!" Mattie scread, her voice echoing off the walls. "I don’t want you!"

Stephan’s face darkened. "Mattie, stop this, don’t push

past my limit," Stephan said, trying to reason with her.

"I will kill the baby! I don’t want the stupid baby!!" Mattie spat, spat again.

"Shut the fuck up!" Stephan yelled again at her, as his gist connected with her face once more.

The second slap landed with a loud crack, sending Mattie stumbling backward.

Before she could regain her balance, Stephan’s hands closed around her neck, his fingers tightening like a vice. He slamd her against the wall, his face inches from hers.

"What did you an by ’kill the baby’?" Stephan growled, his voice low and nacing. "What did you an you wanted to hurt my child?"

Mattie struggled to free herself, but Stephan’s grip only tightened. "Let......go," Mattie gasped, her eyes bulging.

Stephan’s face was a mask of fury. "You wanted to give my child to soone else, still I didn’t lose it, now you want to kill the child!" Stephan yelled, his voice echoing off the walls.

Mattie’s hands scrabbled at his wrists, trying to loosen his grip. "You’re...choking...," Mattie whispered, her voice barely audible.

But Stephan chuckled, "You think I care?" Stephan snarled. "You think I care about your feelings anymore?"

"We are fucking married now! How could you think of another man?" Stephan demanded.

Tears trickled down Mattie’s face. "Because Julian is the one I love. No one would change my heart." Mattie spat. "I will always love Julian."

Stephan’s face twisted in a cruel smile. "You will give birth to my child," Stephan growled. "And you’ll do exactly as I say." he let out. "Or you’ll suffer the consequences."

Mattie’s face crumpled, tears streaming down her cheeks. "You can’t control , I will go to my parents," Mattie spat.

Stephen broke into a cruel laughter, "You can’t," Stephan said. "You have been disowned by your father, rember? You’re no longer an Adam."

Mattie’s eyes widened in shock. "No," Mattie whispered. "My mother loves . My father is just mad at , he can’t afford to disown ."

Stephan’s smile grew wider. "You are not an Adam anymore, Mattie. Not like you were before" Stephan repeated. "You are my wife now."

As he spoke, Stephan’s expression changed, his anger giving way to a twisted passion. He reached out and gently stroked Mattie’s face, his fingers tracing the curve of her cheekbone.

"Don’t ss with , Mattie," Stephan whispered, his voice low and husky.

"I’m not a man to be trifled with. Julian is gone, and he’s never coming back. He’s with Astrid now, and he will do anything to keep her happy."

Mattie’s eyes flashed with denial. "No," Mattie whispered.

Stephan’s fingers tightened in her hair, pulling her head back, and making her groan in pain.

"You can’t say no to , Mattie," Stephan growled. "You’re mine now, Mattie," Stephan whispered, his voice low and husky. "And you will never be free again."

She shook her head, "No... I am not yours, I can’t live with a monster! I can..." A push from Stephan sent her back to the ground making her whimper.
