Chapter 6: A True Pill
Having heard about several Novels regarding Wuxia and Xianxia from his late grandfather and even reading a few himself due to his own curiosity.
Lin Mu was currently ecstatic with such a discovery. The ergence of this pill ant that his life long dreams could finally co to life.
After so long of living in damnation, He would finally have the chance to soar to greater heights like everyone else.
" With this pill i, Lin Mu, Shall make you proud grandpa, I hope your watching grandpa, Little Lin’s finally about to begin his true journey of conquest!" Lin Mu said with unbridled joy before throwing the pill into his mouth.
He regretted it the next mont because the instant the pill entered his mouth his tongue cringed as if it was touching sothing extrely bitter.
’ So this is how a pill actually tastes‽, Those cultivators in Wuxia novels made it look so easy ’ Lin Mu struggled to hold back the urge to spit out the pill, His eyes were on the verge of tears but he decided to perceiver through.
He was able to stop himself from regurgitating the pill and forced it to slide down his throat and down into his abdon. The mont that happened, Lin Mu felt his stomach begin to heat up as if a raging fire was brewing within.
" Arrrghh!!!" Lin Mu was caught of guard by the burning pain that was several tis higher than the scorching air in the blood red dinsion he exited from earlier.
His face instantly showed signs of Perspiration, Several veins throbbed underneath his skin. The burning pain in his abdon quickly moved from there and went through his whole circulatory system and organs.
Lin Mu was plagued with anguish, completely unaware of the fact that his body was quickly undergoing a miraculous change. The Tier 1 low grade pill went ahead and began refining Lin Mu’s body from the inside out, Making his flesh and organs more sturdier and tougher with each minute.
As ti flowed by, His skin began to turn a shade of red, This continued for several minutes till his whole body was as red as a burning pot.
" Arrrrrghh!!!!" The mont the red hue reached it’s peak, Lin Mu let out a heart wrenching howl and several streams of gunky black ooze began flowing out his pores, drenching his clothes and bringing forth a disgusting odour that wafted through the entire parlour.
The stench was so thick that any observer would recomnd washing it for months with several perfus and detergents which had a suffocating aroma.

Lin Mu began panting for breath when the pain started subsidizing but the mont he breathed in.
" Blurrghhh! " Lin Mu couldn’t hold back anymore and regurgitated, The mont the grotesque sll from the gunky black ooze wafted his nostrils.
’ Nope don’t you dare co out, Get back in there ’Just when he was about to regurgitate again he clenched his mouth and forced the puke back down his throat with reddened teary eyes before gulping down the second wave of vomit in one gulp with the last of his strength, Yet his body which was already pushed past it’s limits began failing him and before he knew it.
His eyes grew heavy, His limbs beca weak before he fell in his vomit unconscious.
Several Hours later, Lin Mu’s body was still laying motionless on the floor, Covered in the foul-slling black ooze mixed with his vomit.
His clothes were completely drenched in the putrid liquid and judging by their appearance, one would rather choose to burn them than use them ever again.
The parlour was filled with the overwhelming stench, making it hard to breathe. But amidst the odour, a miraculous change was moving towards the final stages of transformation within Lin Mu’s body.
The Tier 1 low-grade pill continued to refine his body, strengthening his flesh and organs. Like most parts of his body, Lin Mu’s circulatory system was undergoing a radical transformation, His once non existent ridians were slowly opening up, Allowing his body to adapt to the demands of cultivation.
As the minutes ticked by, Lin Mu’s body suddenly began to glow with a faint, golden light. The light intensified, enveloping his entire being, and slowly, The red hue on his skin began to fade. The black ooze and vomit mixture on his body started to dry up, Revealing a radiant, healthy complexion that was far more better looking than earlier underneath.
The golden light persisted, nourishing Lin Mu’s body and spirit. His breathing slowed, and his heartbeat stabilized. The parlour which was once filled with the stench of the black ooze, was now filled with a sweet, floral aroma, as if the very air was being purified.
Suddenly, Lin Mu’s eyes flickered open. He was t with a vision of his grandfather standing before him in the parlour, His face smiled while displaying a proud look as he stood before him.
"Well done Mu my boy" he said. "You’ve finally taken the first step towards greatness. Your body has been refined, and your spirit has been awakened. I know the path ahead will be challenging and filled with many bends and turns but I have complete faith in you "
" Ascend through the ranks of a mortal and reach the realm of immortals, I know you’ll be able to accomplish this, so don’t you dare let down you bratty boy " Old man Lin chuckled before his image began to blur.
" Wait grandpa!" Lin Mu tried reaching out to him but his figure vanished like a wisp of smoke in the blink of an eye.
’ Was it all a dream?...’ Lin Mu’s asked as his vision cleared, He felt a sense of loss when he discovered that what he had seen might have been just a vision since his beloved grandfather was no we’re to be found.
Lin took a few deep breaths to calm down his emotions before moving onto the matter at hand.
