Although Xuanxu Zi spoke calmly and evenly, there was a notable impatience in his tone. Xiao Buli couldn't help but wonder whether the freshly delivered heads had exacerbated his master's unease.

Xiao Buli's heart skipped a beat, thinking, "Oh no, if you go now, everything will be exposed."

"Master, don't rush . I need to choose carefully. Just the other day, my eldest senior brother said I was progressing too slowly. This ti, I must select a powerful spell." While placating him verbally, his mind raced, trying to think of a way to delay things for a day or two. Suddenly, his eyes fell upon a service option offered by the sect.

Travel with Master to the Immortal Realm: Spend a day traveling to the Immortal Realm with your master. Costs 1000 Contribution Value.

The words 'travel with Master' imdiately filled Xiao Buli with ecstatic joy, and he thought to himself, "That's the one. But who knows what kind of changes will happen when we return? Before that, I should use up the remaining 500 Contribution Value."

Without further hesitation, he selected a defensive spell, the Five Elents Spirit Armor Technique.

Five Elents Spirit Armor Technique: Enhances your resistance against Five Elents Attribute Spells. The specific effect depends on your Magic Level and spiritual power.

The spell cost 450 points. With little regard for the remaining 50 or so points, he hurriedly selected the Travel with Master to the Immortal Realm option.

"Master, your disciple wishes to broaden his horizons by visiting the Immortal Realm. Please grant this opportunity," Xiao Buli said with a look of anticipation.

Xuanxu Zi's expression darkened at once, and his deanor was clearly no longer pleasant. His face clouded over and his tone, no longer gentle as before, said, "I have matters to attend to these days. We'll go another ti."

"But, Master, I've longed to visit the Immortal Realm. It was just that I never had enough Contribution Value before. Today, finally, I have enough. I've dread about this day for so long, and I've just selected this option," Xiao Buli replied with an innocent face, as if defying, "I've already chosen it, I don't believe you can go against Heaven itself."

This passive resistance hit Xuanxu Zi right where it hurt. Indeed, no matter how unwilling he was or how powerful he might be, the Heavenly Dao was the Heavenly Dao. With resignation, Xuanxu Zi sighed, "Alright, I'll take you there."

As he spoke, Xuanxu Zi stood up and walked towards the rear of the hall. Xiao Buli quickly followed him into the inner sanctum—a room he had never entered before—where an array was prominently drawn on the floor. Xiao Buli looked closely and, despite their superficial resemblance, he could tell that this was indeed a teleportation array.

Shouldn't we be using a Teleportation Portal instead? Xiao Buli wondered. Normally, to travel between different worlds, you'd need a Teleportation Portal, like the one the Demon Clan built in the basent or the one the Ancestral Dragon went to great lengths to create. A teleportation array seed rather unsophisticated. Could it be that Penglai Fairyland actually exists within this world, just residing on a different continent?

"Step on the array," Xuanxu Zi commanded, interrupting Xiao Buli's thoughts with an undertone of displeasure.

Xiao Buli didn't dare to provoke Xuanxu Zi at this ti and quickly positioned himself in the array. Xuanxu Zi also stepped over with an air of immortal grace. He ford hand signs and chanted under his breath, and a white light began to emanate from the lines of the array, growing stronger until, with a flash, Xiao Buli's vision was engulfed in a white expanse, and he quickly closed his eyes.

"We've arrived now," Xuanxu Zi said, his voice no longer irritable as though the Immortal Realm had eased his mood.

Xiao Buli slowly opened his eyes. Wow—the view before him brought him imnse joy, with the faint sound of celestial music, the fragrance of flowers and grass in the air, and the plants and trees around him brimming with life, radiant with joyful light. A gentle breeze stirred, causing the foliage to twist as if animated. Verdant mountains and hills stretched into the distance—a picturesque scene of Immortal Realm beauty.

Xiao Buli stood agape, marveling at the beauty before him. Xuanxu Zi seed pleased with his reaction; after all, being able to casually visit such places was indeed enviable.

After allowing him to take in the sights for a while, Xuanxu Zi finally took the lead. Xiao Buli quickly followed. It seed they were on an island, as the sound of ocean waves could be faintly heard. Looking around, Xiao Buli could just make out the coastline to his right, shrouded in mist as if hiding the island.

Xiao Buli summoned the map and saw the translucent image floating before his eyes marked with the words "Immortal Beast Island." Wasn't it supposed to be Penglai Fairy Island? He was secretly baffled. The nonclature of Penglai Fairyland seed perated with oddities, with incorrect nas and a location that wasn't as magical as he had imagined—it left him slightly disappointed.

"Co with , disciple," Xuanxu Zi called out to the distracted Xiao Buli, striding towards a gently rising hill covered in erald grass.

Xiao Buli hurried to catch up, looking around as he walked. He began to notice the peculiarities of the island, spying Runes set into the ground, similar yet unique, appearing to be part of an Array. The distribution suggested the entire island was covered by it. Although Xiao Buli knew very little about Arrays and couldn't determine which kind it was, it was reasonably supposed to be so defensive chanism or a secret technique for maintaining the natural beauty of the place.

As the two continued, they crested the small hill, and towering trees appeared, along with a greater abundance of birds and animals, which not only weren't afraid of humans but also seed rather friendly. Xiao Buli was captivated by a small white rabbit glowing with a pearly light when he suddenly heard a whooshing sound.
