The Southern Barbarian Mountain Range is not strictly a na for a map, but a generic term for that vast unexplored area to the south of Mystic Hollow Palace, an area not only vast in size but filled with poisonous miasmas, treacherous swamps, venomous snakes, and fierce beasts. Few players have ventured there, and even NPCs have little information about it.
But today, Xiao Buli was determined to explore this region.
Using Cloud Thunder Leap, Xiao Buli teleported towards the south, appearing and disappearing repeatedly. Each ti he landed, he observed his surroundings and marked a coordinate on his map. Whenever he discovered a safe place to land, he would sit and ditate to recover his True Origin Points.
After more than a dozen leaps, the environnt around him gradually changed.
Initially, the scenery didn't differ much from the Misty Mountains, perhaps only with denser trees and more wild beasts. But as he delved deeper, the surroundings beca completely different.
The shapes of the trees altered, with many broad-leafed plants typical of rainforests appearing. The ground also beca muddy and wet, and occasionally he would find swampy pools in the low-lying areas of the mountain range.
On his forty-seventh landing, he happened to land in a swamp.
With a thunderous roar accompanying his descent, mud splattered everywhere, and the ground of the swamp exploded into a huge pit.
Xiao Buli found himself sinking rapidly and hastily perford Leaping from Dry Land to jump up, making several leaps to get out of the swamp before he could breathe a sigh of relief. At that mont, a massive crocodile, the size of a young calf, erged from the muddy swamp and crawled lazily toward him.
The Swamp Crocodile is a species unique to the Barbarian Wilderness, large and with tough skin that regular swords and blades find difficult to harm. Its massive jaws allow it to easily swallow smaller creatures whole, making it the swamp's apex predator. For the creatures living in this area, their first thought upon seeing it is of escape, and this crocodile was well accustod to this reaction.
However, the weird-looking weak creature before it did not run away, a strange phenonon that was completely beyond its limited intellect. Yet, driven by hunger, it opened its enormous mouth and pounced toward him.
Five minutes later, the crocodile began to regret its impetuousness.
Xiao Buli exhaled in relief—the big brute really did have thick skin, but fortunately, it was slow. By kiting it for a full five minutes, he finally brought it to the verge of death.
Xiao Buli looked down at the dying behemoth and cast Mind's Eye on it.

Combat Skills
Claw Strike: LV1. A standard attack skill that scratches the enemy with claws, causing base attack damage.
Pounce: LV1. A fierce lunge at the target, dealing double the damage of Claw Strike and causing the target to lose balance. It consus 10 Physical Strength, has a cooldown of 15 seconds, and must be used within a 3-8 ter range.
Wildness: LV8. This untad beast longs for a free and wild lifestyle, full of aggression and hard to live peacefully with humans. Prolonged taming will lower the level of this skill.
Rip and Bite: LV7. Inflicts a powerful damage on the target causing bleeding, which deals 35 damage over 10 seconds. It consus 5 Stamina Points and has a cooldown of 5 seconds.
Rip and Bite - Limb Sever: Triggered after a successful Rip and Bite, inflicts secondary damage to the target being ripped and has a certain chance to cause a limb-severing effect. It consus 10 Stamina Points and has a cooldown of 60 seconds.
Thick Skin LV5: The Swamp Crocodile possesses tough skin that absorbs ten points of physical attack damage.
Tail Strike: LV5, Uses its tail to strike enemies behind, causing 20 points of damage and has a certain chance to make them fall over.
Devour LV3: Devours a smaller creature, causing slow damage during the digestion process, while simultaneously restoring Stamina Points.
Lesser Dragon Blood: As distant relatives of the Dragon Clan, crocodiles have exceptional resistance to disease and poison, allowing them to survive in harsh environnts.
Amphibious: As an amphibian, the crocodile can move in water.
After reviewing the skills, Xiao Buli nodded with satisfaction. Though the creature was only a common monster with a white na, it was quite powerful, and capturing one was worthwhile.
Void Summoning Art - Seal! The crocodile was enveloped and restrained by the white light released by Xiao Buli. Driven by its wild instincts, it struggled fiercely, but its weakened state made it difficult to resist the power of the light. After a standoff, it was finally consud by the light.
It was already the third fierce beast Xiao Buli had sealed. The first was a leopard with only a Wildness level of LV6, which was rely for practice. The second was a wild ox with Wildness LV5, whose combat ability was not as good as the leopard's, but it could be used as a mount and ca with its own LV5 charge skill, so Xiao Buli took it as well.
This third creature he had caught finally seed more impressive.
He surveyed the surrounding area. The swamp lay in the depression of a circular mountain range, surrounded by lush, green mountains covered in vegetation. Only the eastern side revealed a bald patch of listone, looking jagged and full of cracks and holes due to long-term erosion by moisture.
