[Donald’s Perspective]
Seeing complaining about that bunch of old farts in the Council of Elders, Benjamin didn’t dare to say much; he just lowered his head, not knowing what he was thinking.
I lifted my hand to close the papers, let out a sigh, and said, "Is there anything else? Any news from Elliot’s side?"
Benjamin looked up at and replied, "Half an hour ago, Elliot said they were already on their way back, and if all goes well, they should be able to return in two hours. Moreover, Miss Elizabeth and Anthony will arrive at the Lilo Sea with Dean Andrew. I haven’t told the second young miss about the Lycan Queen’s kidnapping yet, Your Majesty..."
"I know, you are to take care of bringing her and Anthony here; leave the rest to ," I said, taking the troubleso matter off his hands.
Benjamin breathed a sigh of relief and was about to leave but was stopped by calling out.
"Gino needs so Recovery Potion; when you go down, prepare five doses for him imdiately. The battle environnt for this expedition is special; your dical team must also be well-prepared. I will have Dean Andrew fully support you from the rear."
"Yes, Your Majesty! We’ve given the Recovery Potion a new na, ’New Birth’."
Benjamin continued with a smile, "This was inspired by Her Highness. She said before, MASTER has ’Rebirth’ and ’Eternal Life’, those are like things of demons, and our ’New Birth’ can suppress them both in practical and spiritual sense! Sounds good, doesn’t it?"
"That’s a good na, really nice," I chuckled, already picturing the scene when Margaret said these words to Benjamin.
Her eyes must have been sparkling, her pretty face full of conviction and tenacity, her whole being as if imbued with a boundless vitality.
"She always brings new strength and courage, like sunflowers in the sumr."
Benjamin wholly agreed with my words, nodding deeply as he inhaled sharply, "Her Highness is the most wonderful, warst woman in the world. You will certainly lead us to successfully bring her back from there! And anyone trying to harm her deserves to die under our sharp claws."
As Benjamin spoke, the light in his eyes was resolute and clear.
Indeed, soone as adorable and gentle as Margaret was almost impossible not to like.
Of course, that excludes so who are inherently abnormal, those who are born hating the world, who, upon seeing beautiful and gentle people and things, can only think of destroying and erasing them!
[Margaret’s Perspective]
I was awoken by the ice-cold seawater, the stench of the fishy water incredibly unpleasant. I involuntarily furrowed my brow, and even this movent pulled at the wound on my forehead!
Agonizing pain stimulated my nerves, and I couldn’t help but groan out loud, becoming fully alert in an instant, with the surroundings slowly coming into view.
The waves crashed against the beach less than ten ters away from , the sea breeze was cool on my skin, and my soaked clothes clung coldly to my skin. I heard a sowhat familiar voice!
"I told you we would et again soon, and look, here we are," Levi’s voice was smug and frivolous as he sat ungracefully on a rock on the surface of the beach, seeming in quite a good mood.
I tried to lift my neck to say sothing, but before I could speak, I began to cough violently, bending over in a sorry state.
"I know what you want to say; no outsider can enter this deserted island! And even if Donald wants to save you, he has no other ans. This ti he is destined to lose, hahaha!" Levi laughed loudly, as if he could already foresee their imminent victory.
Listening to him, I slowly curled up the corners of my mouth, my voice hoarse as I spoke, "Only those whose hearts are not firm enough keep on stressing their strength. In my eyes, you are such a person right now."
"Cough, cough, cough! Despicable and vile thods might give you a montary victory, but the ultimate win will belong to Donald in the end. You won’t be able to be arrogant for long," I said, coughing violently, as if my lungs were on fire.
Levi first watched silently, then after a while motioned with his finger for a subordinate to step forward and check on .
I bore the discomfort in my body, and with a cold gaze, I deterred the subordinate, shouting, "Keep away from ! Get lost!"
"You want to play the part of defiant unto death, then at least make it look convincing! Right now you seem like a pitiful fish out of water, gasping for breath, completely unthreatening," Levi said, standing up and walking over to .
With his chin tilted upward, his gaze mocking, he finally added, "Lock her up with that boy, give them so water and food later. Just don’t let them die!"
