He was worried for her like they said.
She wanted to see it more clearly to ascertain that she was not hallucinating. However, her eyelids grew heavier and heavier. Finally, everything went black and she could not feel anything anymore.
“Su Jianan!”
Lu Boyan hugged her, feeling extrely worried. He knew that she had just fainted but he felt as if the world in his hands was slipping away.
He was afraid. He was afraid he would lose this person just like how he had lost his father forever when he was 16.
The private lift reached the first floor. He carried Su Jianan and exited the lift with quick steps. The hotel manager had seen him a few tis and he had always been calm and elegant as if he had the entire world under his feet. But now, he cradled a person in his embrace carefully. The manager did not know what happened. He quickly got the driver to prepare the car and followed after them to open the car door for Lu Boyan.
Lu Boyan carried Su Jianan onto the car, “To the hospital. Get Shen Yuechuan to contact the hospital and make arrangents.”
“Yes!”
The driver did not dare to waste a second. He stepped on the accelerator and the car, which had good performance car shot forward like an arrow and into the traffic. It sped past cars after cars toward the biggest private hospital in the city.

Su Jianan’s eyes had regained its shine. Her dark eyes looked at Lu Boyan steadily as if he was a little foreign. Then, her gaze slowly returned to normal after a mont and she made a sound of ascent.
She would not deny it. Lu Boyan’s words had given her sothing to depend on.
Before she fainted, she tried hard to ascertain the worry in his eyes. Even though she could not find that hint of worry anymore when she stared at him, she could see that Lu Boyan really wanted to keep her company.
The nurse handed her a cup of warm water and a dicine sachet. She said, “It’s fast acting pain reliever.”
There were five or six pills. The biggest was about the size of a thumb and the smallest about the size of a grain of rice. They were all white. The sll of dicine wafted out the mont the package was opened. Su Jianan glared at them and curled into her blankets.
She was not afraid of heaven or earth, or gangsters. But she was afraid of bitterness. That was why the entire family would beco chaotic when she fell ill as a child.
