Chapter 1273: Autumn Leaf Like Rain
This was a theatrical show on stage.
It included dance, dialogues, performance, and various skills that suited the composite quality of the trainees.
This kind of performance had to wait until the year-end to be perford in the theater. It was different from movies and dramas as it wasn’t recorded nor edited beforehand. It completely tested the trainees’ ability to perform on the spot and not make the least bit of error.
All the performing trainees practiced very seriously.
The male lead partnering with Xia Yingluo was two grades higher than her and was rumored to be debuting soon. He was born with delicate features, had refined manners and looked to have a comfortable temperant. His acting skills were decent, but he was nervous when partnering with her and kept making mistakes. In the afternoon, he dragged Xia Yingluo down to go through the sa scene several tis.
The male lead Zhou Hansheng felt sorry and said carefully, “Yingluo, I’ve dragged you down. It’s my fault.”
Xia Yingluo smiled and casually took a bottle of water another trainee gave him. “It’s okay.” Although she did have a big missy temper, was whiny and didn’t like to suffer, she knew how to cooperate. The director smiled at Xia Yingluo. “Ms. Xia, why don’t you go and rest first, I’ll let Xiao Yun practice with Zhou Hansheng. Once he’s in a better mode, you can continue practicing with him.”
Xia Yingluo thought about it and thought it was a good idea. Since they were just practicing lines and positioning, Xiao Yun could just be Zhou Hansheng’s practicing partner.
She thanked the director and went to rest at a corner.
Imdiately, several people ca to strike up a conversation with her, complinting her acting and her clothes. So even enthusiastically served her fruit tea and little desserts.
Xia Yingluo simply wanted to cry into the air. Ling’er it’s all your fault, you exposed my identity. Now look at what you did, there’s no peace anywhere. She finally managed to send everyone away and called for Jiang Bilian. “Bilian, find a few people to ward off this area and don’t let anyone disturb . And take these little desserts and fruit tea to share amongst you.”
Jiang Bilian saw that Xia Yingluo did indeed have use for her and imdiately smiled. She quickly got the work done.
Xia Yingluo was also very happy. She didn’t want to trouble Jin Ling’er in handling these trivial things and furthermore, Ling’er’s temper was usually straight and didn’t have many friends, so she wouldn’t be able to handle these matters that required commanding people anyways. But Jiang Bilian was extrely familiar with controlling people, so she was the most suitable for such work.
Xia Yingluo drank water quietly and thought, If Jiang Bilian performs well, maybe I will allow her to have a good future.
Zhou Hansheng and the practice partner were still practicing at the side.
When Xia Yingluo looked over from an angle, she saw a man wearing a white shirt with his long and slender body against the light. His slender body was almost identical to Wei Lingnan’s in her mory. The director couldn’t help but yell cut.
“Ms. Xia, are you tired? I’m sorry for making you wait for so long.” The director was extrely polite. His attitude towards Zhou Hansheng and her for making mistakes was completely different. “Why don’t we just end our practice for today? You can go back and rest and we’ll continue tomorrow?”
Xia Yingluo also felt like she wasn’t in the mood and said, “Okay. I’m sorry, director and Senior Zhou.”
The two imdiately told her it was nothing.
Xia Yingluo exited the theater and walked alone in the school garden where the autumn leaves fell like rain, her heart full of heavy thoughts.
She didn’t know why Wei Lingnan had such a deep impact on her. When she had seen him and Gu Jinxiu so close together during the banquet, she had felt as if her heart had been pricked by a needle. When he had halted her car halfway, although she was angry, she was still happy to receive the costics from him. She had been continuously reminding herself not to care about him, but no matter what, she would think of him...
His impact on her was much greater than she imagined.
This wasn’t a good sign.
She frowned slightly and walked deeper into the forest with the falling autumn leaves.
The leaves fell and landed on her with the breeze.
She stood in the forest in a daze and suddenly felt the leaves disappear from her shoulder. Her surroundings suddenly beca quiet and the chirping of the birds stopped.
She seed to have so response. She turned around and saw Wei Lingnan.
He was wearing a white shirt, standing behind her like a painting. His hand was holding onto an umbrella, shielding her from the falling leaves. The autumn sunlight shone on his body warmly. Xia Yingluo had seen many n wearing white shirts, but none of them wore it as well as he did. He was the only one. She looked at him in so form of enchantnt, when suddenly she seed to respond to sothing. She lowered her eyes quickly and sunk her face.
