Chapter 498: The Seed Market
With the new weapon in her hands, Adelaide began to be more active in fighting the mines, and compared to before, they are bringing more and more hauls of monster parts to ship, which helps in increasing the profit every day without Elaina heading to the mines.
Thanks to this matter, Mier has been begging her mother to join her friends on their battles, and although her mother, Alessa, didn’t want to at first, she was convinced in the end and is now among the supporters of the group. Around 3 days after she hired Octavia for the seed marketing plan, Rakkunzansa already contacted Elaina about the success of Octavia’s training and how she is ready to begin her new job as soon as possible. The speed was incredible, and Elaina was surprised by it since she expected it to last for at least a week at most. But three days were too fast. Perhaps Rakkunzansa was just a good teacher, or Octavia is a very fast learner.
Since Octavia is ready, Elaina decided to start the business the day after the training and scheduled Octavia to get ready for the grand opening day, and the dryad is excited to start.

Opening day.
The crates of seed packets and various seed samples are already loaded into the building, and the new space is ready to begin business. Elaina expects the business to be crowded in the first days as that will be the surge of custors after the termination of the original market sell. Elaina also made sure to tell Princess Tabatha about the opening of the seed market so that she can finally cut off the usual market for seeds and transfer all the selling process to Elaina.
Elaina also made sure to remind Octavia that there is no need to worry rejecting custors who are rude or soone who does not like that she was a dryad and can just leave them be as there are other people who would rather receive those seeds and also to keep calm and ask for help if she is feeling overwheld.
Only a two hours left until opening, Elaina readies for the inevitable surge of custors.

"What do you an we will stop our seed supply to the market? I thought the market needed more seeds?" a middle age man frowned as he saw the notice the he received.
On the letter is the termination notice of his services of delivering seeds to the Market. He was confused on the sudden termination of contract all of a sudden and the last batch that was delivered was the last batch that he have delivered after the arrival of the letter.
Realizing this matter, he called his worker who has been working with his seed processing business and asked for an explanation on why the Market decided to stop with the seeds.
"Didn’t I already told you lot that the seeds we will be delivering for the ti being are those that are good quality for the ti being? With how the Market got an eye for the products, we can’t just be complacent about it and sell them the ones with bad seeds. We just needed to cool off for them for a bit before doing it again, right? Then why is this letter here and we lost our main source of inco?!"
"Sir! We already did as you have told and made sure the supply of seeds that has no defects are the ones being delivered not too long ago. We didn’t receive complaints at that ti so I thought things were fine!"
"Then everything is clearly not fine! They already cut us off without even eting with us! This only ans they don’t have any good reason to negotiate about this decision and they wanted us off of the business already!"
Grabbing his coat and his hat, he left his office and headed to the Market and talk with the owner of the place and have them explain the situation. He can’t afford to just lose their cashcow after all these years.

Rumors quickly spread about the new source of seeds to the farrs and how the first ti buyers started to promote the place to other farrs especially if they have no capital for buying seeds. Due to the one ti subscription of entry capital, those who have no ans to pay for the seeds can get a sample of seeds for the first ti they buy and ramp up the start of their business once again.
For farrs who have been struggling to recover from the plague that ravaged their fields, they really needed the first capital to jump start their business once more and ignite their dying business back to life. Which is why, the subscription of getting seeds first, before paying next month is sothing many picked. It might be similar to how they are like loaning money to the farrs, the only difference is that they aren’t charging extra money for the paynt, just so sort of "Get capital, pay later" kind of treatnt.
There are also other people who are a bit skeptical after hearing this considering it is too good to be true, and think this might be a scam. However, upon realizing that the one who did the first advertisent about this new place selling seeds is the Market itself after it terminated its sales of seeds and transferred the rights to the new owner of the seed market, the doubts starts to fade. Of course, those who are still not convinced began to research on who would be so generous to do this and soon realized that there was no scam or ill will to any of the struggling farrs, just pure sympathy and a way to recover the business they have almost thought to be sothing they will never be able to recover after their recent loss.
There are also others who are skeptical not because of the prices, but because the one who is currently handling the sales is a dryad. However, many of the farrs who have so knowledge about dryads or are quite familiar with their kind quickly stop any bad rumors about them from spreading. Not only that, but they also like that she has genuine knowledge on seeds that she gives recomndations here and there to every custors who are asking for any new seeds that are being sold there. She is patient and understanding to everyone that no one dares to disrespect her in front of the others. And considering how kind Octavia has been to the farrs buying seeds from her, there are so farrs who have secretly started making groups that would start to admire Octavia and how she captivated their hearts for so unknown reason. But that’s another tale for another day.
Rakkunzansa looked at the profit pouring a few hours after the opening hours of the new seed shop and nodded as he reported the initial profit.
"Although there are many people who have decided to qualify and use the free seed subscription promo, there are plenty of people who decided to just use the paid subscription instead, saying that the free one is good, but the paid one is sothing that is quite racking business for so reason."
