Light had told her what had happened in a very short ti, and even though Elise couldn’t believe her ears, she still felt that Jack should be punished.

Jack was ready to accept anything, he just wanted rcy as he had done to Elise and the others, that is, not to die and that those he had fought to protect should live.

Elise didn’t want to accept this offer at first, but there was nothing to be done, if Light would accept it, she would accept it.

"Well? What do you say?" Light suddenly asked, and with that, the answer ca from the other end of the phone:

"I can’t forgive the person called Jack, I’m grateful that he didn’t kill anyone from my group, but there was no reason for him to attack us. The Roan group hunts and protects people who have the thoughts and actions to harm others, if they had co to us everything would have been easier."

When Elise’s words were finished, Light smiled and then asked "But?". He knew Elise very well, yes, they hadn’t t much, but Light and Elise’s friendship had really grown, the two of them even trusted each other completely.

"But...I can convince my group this ti, but I still wish to see a face-to-face apology from Jack, if he agrees to convey this to and my family...we can agree. BUT! But he will be banned from entering Birmingham afterwards, Jack or anyone from your group cannot enter unless he is under your supervision." Elise added to her own words.

Hearing these words, Light smiled and then said, "If you say so, I will add them to my group, they are not bad people."

Jack didn’t know what to say to these words, the man he had tried to ambush in the forest just an hour ago suddenly appeared in front of his group like an angel, gave them food and drink, and now he had officially released a force that was likely to be their enemy.

How could they ever repay this favour?

As Light ca to the end of the short speech, he heard a knock on Elise’s door and one of the group mbers they had left there heard that a religious figure had paid a visit to the Roan Group.

It seed to happen at the sa ti that he heard this and said to Elise, "Don’t trust them and don’t do anything stupid and go near them, we’ll be right there."

Light looked directly at Jack and then said "I’m leaving the rest of my group to you, you’ll enter Birmingham together, Charles will stay with you, this is your test, Jack, get everyone safely behind ."

With that,t he placed six snowmobiles in front of campus and then pulled out four snowmobiles and said "Leonard, Kyle, Duke, you three are coming with . We need to get back to Birmingham imdiately."

With these words of Light, before Jack and the others could realise what was happening, Light and the pursuing trio left the area at full speed.

The fog was still thicker, but there was nothing to be done at the mont, they quickly passed Solihull College, managed to pass by Birmingham Hospital and soon arrived in front of the main building of the Roan group north of Digbeth.

It had taken the group an hour and a half at this high speed, it was getting dark, but eventually Light managed to get to Elise.

Elise was outside, in front of the main building, talking to a man in a red robe.

"Church!" Light suddenly thought, but he could not see any religious figures on the man, which ant that this man did not believe in at least one of the popular religions.

This made Light think, and with that, he walked over to Elise in a short ti.

After greeting Elise, he looked at the red-robed man in front of him, who had a very cheerful but tired expression, and then said, "My na is Arah."

Before the red-robed man could introduce himself, he had activated his Light inspection ability, and after what he saw in front of him, he suddenly pulled out the knife hanging on his waist and then cut the throat of the man in front of him in one move.

"KOUGH!!!’" The red-robed man grabbed his throat and pushed.

By the ti the bystanders realised what was happening, the red-robed man had already fallen to the ground.

"What are you doing?!" complained Elise, she knew that Light was not the kind of person who would just commit murder, but she did not know what to say other than her surprise.

Without saying a word, Light put his hand directly to the right side of his waist took out his pistol and fired seven shots at the man in the red robe who had fallen to the ground without even thinking twice.

When the sound of those seven shots rose into the air, the people around looked at Light in astonishnt. He spoke at that mont:

"You’re still determined not to die, you son of a bitch."

After Light’s words, the backward eyes of the red-robed man, who was bleeding from his body, suddenly recovered, and the man began to struggle on the ground.

"We will not stop until this sinful woman dies! It will all be ours, our loyalty to our God is eternal!" the red-robed man suddenly shouted.

As these words left the man’s mouth, Light reached into his inventory pulled out a lighter and lit it, instantly throwing it at the man on the ground and watching him burn.

"AUUUGHHHHHHHH!!! HELP!!!"

The red-robed man was screaming and begging for help as he burned half alive, yet Light had no intention of being nice to anyone. The sound of Light clenching his teeth was louder than the sound of the man shouting as if he were telling Elise to shut up.

After a short ti, the writhing of the red-robed man on the ground was over, and a burnt human body was left in its place.

Light, on the other hand, still wanted to make sure that the man was dead and put his inspection ability into use, he was incredibly pleased with what he saw.
