"I will never cheat on any partner that gets tied to . I might lack in many ways, but for this, I am not that loose!" Calista firmly shook her head, disgust written all over her face.

Rather than cheat, it was better to separate and move on. Why waste each other’s ti when no longer interested in one another?

"At the sa ti, while he is the father of my child, this man might not co back into my life again!" suddenly Calista started saying sothing like this, starting the Dickens family who wasn’t sure of what Calista was doing.

On the other hand, Mammy Lena’s fists were clenched as she had an idea of what Calista was about to say and honestly, she didn’t like it at all.

But what could she do?

She was just a slave and her job at the mont was to serve well and refuting one’s masters wasn’t what servants should do.

So, she could only helplessly watch as Calista care freely, without any stress visible on her face, aired her family’s laundry. Sothing that most won would never do. They would rather die with the secret than expose themselves to such shaming in the future.

"Calista, what do you want to say?" suddenly Susan, seeing that Calista was about to open her mouth and continue from where she stopped, cut her off with the question.

Ba Susan and Ma Susan seed to know their daughter’s intention, so they also said in unison.

"Calista, don’t say things that you will regret!"

"Think deeply before you say anything."

But her response was a reassuring smile, which made their hearts sink. It seed that she was determined to reveal whatever news she was carrying and there was no way to stop it.

Surely, Calista wasn’t willing to let this issue rest here. She wanted to let this news out and get over with it.

Being asked about Orson all the ti was driving her crazy, and she wanted these people to stop linking that traitor with her.

"Like I ntioned earlier, he might not be returning. I have tried to keep this news to myself for these few months, but this is sothing that I can’t continue to hide from myself as ti goes on in the future!" with a dejected smile on her face, she said.

"This .... Madam Solace, master Orson ... did he....?"

Calista chuckled faintly, cutting the curious cat which wanted to steal her thunder, shutting him up before she continued, "he is gone. Where he went, I have no idea. So, it’s just and my baby now. So please don’t ask about him again. He is gone!" revealing the whole truth, or at least, the main points of the story, to the villagers.

Surely upon hearing that, surprise gasps could be heard from the villagers. Honestly, although so of them had speculations about this matter, they didn’t think that it was truly like this at all.

After all, why should a man leave Madam Calista?

Although she can be a shrew sotis, it only happens when she is offended.

She was very kind and loved children a lot. She had done so much for them in these years, although they refused to admit it before.

So why leave her?

She was also rich and close friends with the village chief’s family. Wasn’t this enough for a man to stay?

So, hearing her admitting it openly like this, they were all filled with complicated feelings.

Unfortunately, Calista didn’t give them ti to ponder further as she opened her mouth again to continue from where she left off.

"With that said, I will move on to the next announcent!" a smile returning to her face.

Why feel sad about things that can’t be salvaged and can’t bring her food to the table?

"As you saw a few days ago, I brought along so friends from afar!" she said excitedly as she looked in the direction where Diana and her acquaintances were currently seated. "These friends had promised that they would help with sothing that this village desperately needs. Aren’t you excited?" she asked as she clapped her hands, sparkles in her eyes.

"What does our village need again?"

"There are so many projects going on at the mont. Which one requires additional help?"

The villagers, unfortunately, were confused and didn’t know what Calista was talking about.

So, Calista could only sigh helplessly before elaborating further to stop wasting more ti.

"I promised everyone that before opening the factory, you would undergo training and attend workshops regardless of whether in the future you would be hired or not!" she said as she interlaced her fingers once again. "These dear friends of mine would be helping everyone. At least those who are interested in learning how to read and write. Only when you know this, can it be easier for you to learn more about what I want.

So of you might even argue that learning requires listening and performing what you have learnt but in my line of work, it doesn’t work like that, at all if you can’t even know the quantity, asurents or weight of what you are going to make. Do you expect to trust you with so much money and resources?

I don’t ask you to know much but know at least sothing. This will not be helpful to only, but to everyone as well. These are free lessons, so take this chance to make a better life for yourself.

When these dear friends continue with their journey, I will continue with the lessons and review you myself. Those with good attitudes will have a chance to be recruited in the factory once it opens, as well as other projects in the future.

If you are lazy to improve yourself, there is no way that I will trust you with my business. I would rather have it closed than waste my money by doing so. So, if you aren’t serious, then don’t bother to co to the lessons.

Only those who wish the best for their lives can co. And talking about this, won and n are all welco. In my eyes, there is no such gender which is superior. I am a woman as well, so don’t let hear such whispers about how these hard-working won who had gotten older and wrinkly while taking care of the household don’t qualify to be part of the temporary school.

So, I will be expecting to see everyone. At least those who can manage and when you are free. Kids who are five years and above can co and attend as well since we will be starting from the basics!"
