“Who are you?” demanded Anxia without lowering her guard while watching the man’s every move.
“Our team leader sent to escort you to our base.”
“Who is your leader?”
“Cerberus.”
Anxia blinked a few tis, then put the knife back in the sheath of her leg garter. “Where is he now? Why didn’t he co here himself?”
“He wants to step in himself to get his father-in-law out.”
Anxia looked surprised to hear that, then the next second, she smiled gently, rembering her husband.
“Mama? Did papa ask that man to co here?”
“How do you know that Cerberus is papa?”

“You guys talked about papa being a Cerberus in my room. Did you forget?”
Ah, right. At that ti, Anxia was angry because Richard did not tell her he was Cerberus. Anxia didn’t know whether she should be proud or beco worried knowing her son’s super sharp mory.
Not only could he rember all the events, but this child could also morize these seven secret paths.
“Can you keep it secret? No one should ever know that your father is Cerberus.”
Elliot imdiately covered his mouth with both hands as if he was telling his mother that he promised not to tell a secret.
Anxia chuckled and then followed her husband’s n into a cave Elliot had never explored.
On the other hand, Loraine was engrossed in chatting with the guests and utterly unaware that Elliot and Anxia were leaving the estate. Loraine had told the nanny to bring Elliot here so she wouldn’t suspect or worry that her ‘grandson’ might disappear.
That’s why she didn’t suspect anything when she didn’t see Elliot and was busy gossiping with the wives of her illegal business partners.
At the sa ti, Richard and the other team mbers had managed to silence the n guarding Zhou Yu Hue’s dical room. Now, the dical staff had transferred his father-in-law to a new bed and provided a more sophisticated life-support device than here.
“Take him out first; I want to find Song Lei.”
The mbers nodded and imdiately fled Zhou Yu Hue, who was still in a coma through their chosen secret path.
Richard used his X-sharp eye to locate Song Lei and tracked the GPS embedded in the Tiffany II. Strangely, he couldn’t find Song Lei on this island, but he could find Tiffany II’s signal in one of the rooms of this mansion.
With the light steps of a master thief, Richard infiltrated the room to search the drawers and cupboards for Tiffany II. He didn’t have to rummage through everything because he imdiately found the black orb on the table.
Song Lei deliberately left his coveted program here without activating it? Could the person already know that the program was just a trap?
Then where is the man?
Richard walked closer to the table to take the black program ball without noticing that a particular floor was a trap-triggering device in front of him.
As soon as his foot stepped on the floor, four gunshots from four directions rang out and shot toward Richard without being able to avoid it.
The four bullets appeared from the front, back, and right and left sides so that the target that fell into the trap could not run away.
“Ugh!” Richard fell as soon as the four bullets hit his body. All four were right on target; one hit him in the chest, then his back and upper arms.
Damn it! Richard cursed, not expecting that the ‘monster’ had renovated this room and added a trap.
Luckily, the hidden rifle target wasn’t aiming for his head. Otherwise, he would die.
Richard was still alive and not bleeding even though the four bullets hit him… that was because he was wearing a bulletproof suit.
The type of black clothing that Richard and his team mbers on duty wore was a long-sleeved turtle neck made of bulletproof material.
Hence, none of the bullets injured his body. Even so, he could still feel hurt for a few seconds.
Not long after, his X-sharp eyeglasses gave him an image showing Song Lei having sailed on his boat and now crossing the sea border of the country.
Did the man run away?
Tsk! It seed that the man knew this place would be conquered by outsiders, so the man left this place first.
Richard decided to go ahead with his other plans because he had no more business here. After all, he couldn’t catch up with soone who had sailed sowhere, and the only ones who could catch up to that person were…

The alarm on his glasses went off slowly, indicating it would be eight o’clock soon.

anwhile, Anxia, ??Elliot, and the Cerberus team mbers had exited the secret passage and were now on a hill on the island’s highest plateau.
Anxia realized from where she stood she could see the entire long mansion that belonged to the fake Loraine. Why did Richard’s team mbers bring her here?
“What are we doing here?”
“Our team leader is sending your son’s birthday present here.”
Anxia and Elliot looked at each other in confusion. Birthday gifts?
In the end, Anxia and Elliot decided to sit on the grass and wait. Because no bugs or eyes watched their movents, they could talk freely. However, Anxia had the urge to get involved in the field. Her forr job was as an assassin, and she was required to go into the field every ti she received a mission from Master Yu.
She tried her best to restrain herself as she didn’t want to leave Elliot alone or take the boy to the battlefield. That’s why she didn’t mind being ‘knocked out’ by her husband to not interfere with sneaking in and saving her father.

Just as i Yin finished speaking, a group of gunn appeared and pointed their guns at Anxia and her husband’s mbers. Anxia hid Elliot behind her back to protect her son from the targets of these people.
