Draven walked off, exiting the mansion. As soon as he was gone, a deep exhale of relief fled from everyone.

"Mon dieu! Don can be really scary at tis!" Ava spoke, clutching her chest.

Olive did not fail to nod in agreent. He was the one who felt his pressuring gaze the most.

"Can we really do this in just three days?" Loui inquired.

Olive shrugged, shaking his head. "I really don’t know, but we have to. We must, or else we would miss the big event."

"It’s alright." Loui waved his hand. "If we do not finish the task on ti, we will return. That event is sothing we cannot and must not miss. There is a high chance Don wouldn’t chop our heads off if we returned empty-handed."

"You have a point." Olive chuckled awkwardly.

"I suggest we leave tonight, that will buy us quite so ti."

Loui left the living room with him to get ready for their movent.

——

Draven drove down the road with street lights on either side. He ca to a stop around a park filled with quite a large number of people.

He got out of the car, locked the door, and walked into the park, over to the empty bench, and proceeded to sit down. But afraid that the bench might contain germs, considering it was a public bench, he quickly flinched away.

A low breath escaped his nose, and he grabbed his gloves as well as his handkerchief from his pocket. Draven wore the gloves, spread the handkerchief on the bench, and finally sat down on the bench with a look of relief.

He lifted his eyes to glance at every passing individual, but certain strangers caught his attention. He stared at a little boy with great intent. The young boy sort of reminded him of his late son. If he were alive, he would have been just as tall as the little stranger boy.

He felt sad within him, but his expression could not display that emotion. He raised his crimson orbs to glance at the couple who were beside the little boy. They were definitely his parents—it was pretty obvious.

The mother was laughing, quite happy. And the father, on the other hand, was cackling as well. He had no idea what exactly was going on, but for reasons unknown, his interest was piqued. So he tilted his head and crossed his legs to watch this couple.

Could this be the thing "love" between two people? He has been around his brothers who are married, but he has never seen them be this way with their wives. There was sothing much more different.

The woman was smiling, the man was beaming with gleaming eyes, and the little boy was jovial. A deep breath fled Draven’s nose, and he glanced at the man, who suddenly took a step back with sothing in his hand. A cara!

What was he about to do with it?

Draven stared at the woman who abruptly pulled her son toward her and glimpsed the man who began to take pictures of them.

"They are...making mories, perhaps?" He spoke under his breath, curious, before suddenly getting up from the bench.

He put his gloved hands into the pocket of his coat and left the park to go sowhere else.

——-

Olive and Loui arrived downstairs, each carrying a slightly heavy bag that would make it easy for them to go by flight. Flying would make things faster for them compared to going by car, although a car would be much less stressful. However, they had little to no ti on their hands.

"You two, be safe," Pierre said to them, pretty concerned.

They nodded and left the mansion with their coats folded in their right arms. Outside the gate of their ho, they stood, gazing at the dark sky.

"We will get to the human world before sunrise and find a hotel, or else we will turn into ashes." Loui chuckled softly, amused.

Olive glared at him in annoyance before unfurling his wings. He flew up first, and Loui followed suit.

They traveled as fast as possible, considering they were set on making it to the human world before sunrise. Loui might have been unserious with his words, but indeed, they would be burned to ashes if they were stuck in midair while the sun rose. It would be a brutal direct hit!

Loui flew rapidly beside Olive, his hair flapping frantically against the heavy breeze. "Do you think we can possibly find a hotel to lodge in?"

"Yes." Olive glanced at him. "It is quite easy to find a hotel in Rennes—anywhere, I think. So that will not be a problem."

"Then do you think we can make it back in three days with so information?" Loui further queried.

Olive went silent, not very sure about this one. He let out a quick breath before shaking his head.

"I can’t really say, but I hope we do." He looked forward to the direction they were heading, only for his eyes to widen. "LOUI! BIRDS!"

"Huh?" Loui shifted his gaze to his front only for him to jam into a flock of birds, causing him to co to an imdiate stop. He began to fall.

Olive hurriedly flew after him and gripped his wrist, stopping him from falling any further. "You are so freaking heavy! Fly for goodness sake!" He frantically beat his wings to keep them in the air.

"I reek of birds!!" Loui’s eyes twitched in disgust. He lowered his head to vomit for twenty seconds straight.

Olive shut his eyes, taking a deep breath to calm himself down. "Hopefully, your vomit didn’t pour on an innocent human." He finally let go of Loui.

Loui wiped his mouth and continued flying in their direction.

"In case it does, my sincere apology to that human. I could not help it."

Olive shook his head, fed up.

"We are there!" He pointed to the town of Rennes. It was not bustling like it usually would considering it was still two a.m.

They stopped mid-flight, settled their feet down to the ground, and wore their coats.

"Let’s find a hotel first. I need to shower!" Loui grumbled, seeming to be in a hurry.
