Desella was sleeping soundly on her bed when she heard squeaking of a bird. Well, it was really a pathetic squeaking which was very irritable and made her instantly awake, however, she was just too lazy to wake up. She pulled up her pillows and put them on her head so that the nice could be reduced and she can sleep.
Have anything ever went how she wanted the things to go?
Never.
Soon the bird started squeaking more loudly that even her pillow failed to save her ears and her sleep. Lethargically she sat on her bed as she grumbled.
"Why there is a bird in my room? Ughh"
"Good morning Desella"
Desella who had her eyes closed the entire ti instantly jolted awake when she heard the voice. It was none other than Severus. Leisurely, he was sitting on the couch holding a cup of tea.
Desella squinted her eyes as she glared at Noworry who woke her up and Severus."You, what are you guys doing here in my room? Isn't it early in the morning then why are looking all so fresh huh?"
"No Miss Desella it isn't early. The sun is already high up in the sky and you missed the breakfast"
Desella cried internally.
"Og shizzz, I am too hungry and now I missed breakfast too. I missed delicacies and sweet desserts. Ah, let die, no let sleep", with this she ploped on the bed again.
"Severus chuckled when she saw her behaving like this.
"Get up you sleepy head. I haven't eaten breakfast too and I ordered maids to send breakfast in my room so you better get freshen up and co to my room for your breakfast."
Severus stood up and noworry perched on his shoulder as they both together left the room but before closing the door he smiled slyly as he turned his head and said, "If you sleep again and don't co in my room withing 30 min then I am going to eat all the delicacies. In that case Happy Fasting"
Swish.....
Severus turned back and left the room.
Desella quickly went inside the bathroom to freshen up. After all who want to miss delicious food. Within 15 min she ca outside fully dressed.
"The maids are surely capable. What a lovely red dress it is"
Desella was wearing a red chiffon gown which had full sleeves but a decent neckline. It wasn't too deep but appropriate. You could see her milky skin but can't see below it. Even the colour was cherry red, cheerful like her. Her brunette curly hairs complinted her dress, and all in all, she looked like a fresh cherry, ready to be plucked. Desella saw her reflection in the mirror and giggled happily.
Knock Knock.
"Enter"
Desella entered inside Severus room and the first thing that she noticed was a mini table full of dishes. She drooled over them and quickly sat in front of Severus.
"Severus I am too hungry. Let's dig in"
Without any courtesy, Desella started devouring the food. Severus chuckled when he saw her eating like a glutton. Well, it wasn't the first ti. Every ti they both had shared al, Desella always ate as if the food will be dissipated from the world in next day. Desella enjoyed her sweet ti and didn't notice that Severus who was sitting in front of her stood up and left his seat.
Severus quietly stood up and walked behind Desella's chair. He lifted his hand and unhooked his red cross and slowly pulled Desella's hair to one side as he graced her neck with his red cross.
Desella who was happily devouring her food stiffened when Severus' fingertips touched her skin. Unknowingly she blushed as her breath hitched. She was aware that Severus would never harm her so she, didn't put her guards up for him. Soon a cool sensation was felt to her in her neck region and when she looked down she saw a red cross on her neck. It was the sa pendent that Severus was wearing.
"Severus you... Why are you giving this pendant? It's yours"
Severus after hooking the pendant ca back and sat on his chair non chalantly.
"I see that you were looking pretty but your neck was looking empty. I guessed that you don't have any jewellery and wearing the jewellery given by them is not a good idea too, otherwise, they will think we are leechers. I happened to have this red cross which was matching with your dress so I gave it to you. Not a big deal. Accessories are appreciated on won's body, so just flaunt it "
Severus laughed happily when he told her to flaunt it.
Desella giggled too and cheerfully ate her food.
Noworry saw what was happening and he felt like dying from this cringe.
"Severus just a few days ago I told you that you aren't good with your words but my, my, such a terrific change. What happened to mu dumb Severus. Are you an imposter?"
Severus "..."
They both were again sharing their telepathic communication thus it was easy for them to talk with each other.
"No noworry. You think this is good?"
Noworry vigorously nodded his head.
"Damn you Noworry. This ans that you are a loner too, just like . Don't you dare now giving advice on love now"
Severus scread at him. This fickle bird who behaved as he knows everything about girls and love was nothing but a deceiver. A lone bird"
Noworry "...."
"...."
For a mont no one said anything.
Severus didn't bother himself with Noworry and focused on eating his breakfast. Noworry too ignored Severus and quickly finished his breakfast.
Desella who was almost done eating said," So what is the plan? Yesterday everything happened so suddenly that I didn't have a chance to co up with a proper plan. There are several loopholes and we need to fix them not to forget, we are constantly under Maverick vision. He is definitely suspicious of us. And there are several matters that we need to discuss too. I don't think discussing inside the palace is a good option. Even with your spell, we can't fully be free. Who knows what types of traps and spells they might have used. After suspecting us, I don't think they will treat us a guest."
Severus heard what Desella said and his expressions turned grave.
"Not to forget Severus that we still have things to clear between us" Noworry to chirped in.
"We need to tread carefully over this matter. One wrong step and we are done. We are practically in the lion's lair."
Severus activated his spell and for double security as he whispered his plan inside Desella's ear. He made it quick and very roundabout for triple safety. It really took Desella so ti to understand fully what was their plan. Her eyes shone with excitent as she heard the plan. Nowrry too comnded Severus for upcoming with such a plan.
"Severus are sure you want to reveal yourself like this? Won't they recognise you with your voice? I an you still have sa black midnight iris and the only thing that is differentiating you from your previous self is your head of silver hairs but then again its just a hair colour. Anyone can change it. I am sure they will find your real identity." Desella voiced her concerns.
"It doesn't matter whether they recognise or not Desella. The only thing that matters is I am not my old self. You are wrong about one thing. My hair colour is not the only thing that is separating the current and my previous self but there is more to it and that is my vision. My perspective, my personality, my way of thinking and moreover I know who they are in reality. There is no way I am going to fall for the sa tricks again. It's true that I am the sa Severus but everything about is new."
Each and every word that Severus said was laced with confidence. Desella and Noworry were stunned and beca genuinely happy for him. They both were the people who genuinely wish nothing but happiness for Severus, even if it ant sacrificing themself.
It was a ridiculous thing but Desella who was a cold-hearted will and Noworry who was an arrogant and cruel bird fell to this state. Indeed it was true that ti doesn't matter but emotions do. Severus was a kind guy who never left his friend sin ditch. Although he doesn't like to talk much but his genuine and compassionate nature bounded everyone to like him. It was a pity that such a good person faced such a cruel fate. Desella and Noworry cheered in his happiness and vowed in their hearts to protect Severus with their everything because they very well know that when the ti will co, Severus will do the sa for them. He will save them at any cost. His good nature and compassion was his only weakness which people tend to take advantage.
However, people forget that Karma exists and karma is a bitch that cos and bites you back in your ass.
