"I wonder what this poetry ans," Severus asked while feigning ignorance and confusion.
After listening to this, the old lady's anger subsided a little bit but the next sentence which Severus said, made her nearly pass out from the shock.
" Bloody moon shone high in the sky, I think this line refers to the blood of slaughtered people and a full moon which was on that day. So, was it the night of the full moon that the massacre took place? Am I right grandma?", Severus asked smugly.
However, the old lady refused to answer any of his questions.
" Reflecting the bloody thirst of them. Isn't it just a normal blood spell?" Severus spoke without caring, whether the old lady was going to answer it or not.
"Floating dandelions of Daffodils which took the souls away. Aren't the Daffodils being those flowers which are brought to the grave for offering and paying respect? Daffodil flowers are supposed to take the souls of the dead away. Don't they? I guess this line symbolizes the deaths which took place on that day and the Daffodils dandelions symbolize the souls of those peoples. Am I right again?"
Severus asked while grinning.
The old lady who was quiet and rarely spoke a word through the entire conversation and stealthily brought a dagger out from her pocket and swiftly aid at Severus' neck
It was a near-death mont for Severus. Today his fast reflexes really saved him.
" Wow, you literally fooled everyone your whole life. I wonder why you didn't marry. Choosing to live your life as a widow. Care to tell grandma? " Severus asked her sweetly.
However, the old lady which was gripped by Severus sweated profusely. She knew that she was of no match to him the mont she missed the aim.
At this mont she deeply regretted inviting him inside.
"Who are you? How do you know about this? No one except knows about the aning of that verse. How co you got to know about it? It's impossible." The old lady said with disbelief.
"I can tell you the whole story grandma if you want to know, but for that, you have to reward and promise that you won't sneak an attack again on . Promise", Severus asked sweetly again. His voice was laced with honey but underneath that honey, a fine spear was there which can kill anyone in an instant.
The old lady knew that she needed to surrender but she didn't feel bad for surrendering because she didn't feel any bad intent from him.
"Okay, I promise.", the old lady agreed
"Good"
"Before you tell anything, I have a question for you," the old lady said while fidgeting.
"Ask"
"How did you get to know that I am not blind?"
'Isn't this a stupid question?" Severus sighed.
'huhhh..."
"I am just too smart grandma. I can see through the lies" Severus said proudly.
Old lady"...."
Noworry"...."
Noworry was speechless and confused at the sa ti. He never knew that his baby Severus was so intelligent.
"Hey lad how co you solved the verse riddle", noworry asked through his telepathic communication.
"I am just too smart", Severus replied again smugly.
Noworry"...."
[SMART YOU AS*. JUST SPILL THE BEANS YOU SCOUNDREL] Noworry shouted but Severus ignored him.
The old lady was speechless too. Never in her life, she t soone who was so full of themselves.
"Okay, I agree that you are intelligent. But about that song and verse. Everyone in this town knows that I sing that on a regular basis. There wasn't a single soul except who knew about this secret, so how co you know about this? The old lady asked curiously.
"Well, I just read so books. Everything was there in it", Severus replied languidly.
"Damn. Don't fool . I know that there is no such book. If you didn't want to tell then don't but please don't lie", the old said sadly.
"I am not lying"

"Fine if you want to know more about or the things related to , you need to tell about yourself, "Severus said while exhaling a sigh.
"Fine. I am Severus, the ex-general of Rivera kingdom". He introduced himself.
