Two days passed in a blink the people seed to have lost the concept of ti. They were all tired and dirty. At this mont they were sitting at the edge of the clearing under the shades and watching a battle. A battle of You Xi Wang and Maya vs 5 demons.
You Xi Wang was not cocky but he wanted to push his limit. Maya stood beside him growling. She was wearing the armor she got from the Elven Dinsion, Elfhiem. Her innocent look was nowhere to be seen at this mont. In the last two days, she had taken part in practice and fought against the demons besides You Xi Wang. Her prowess was comparable to the humans.
The handso boy said in a soft warm voice, "Maya, be careful okay?"
Maya replied to him with a ntal transmission, "Yes, brother Xi Wang." You Xi Wang nodded and five demon summoning boxes were triggered. The instant black smoke appeared, Maya turned invisible. While You Xi Wang held the golden spear in his hand.
The demon beasts appeared and the boy moved. His figure flashed and he ca beside one of his targets. The spear stung out like a wasp. The demon roared in pain. You Xi Wang hurt him on the knee. The boy did not wait in the spot to let the demon counter attack. His figure flashed again, this ti he targetted the Demon on his left. The demons were standing in a pentagon formation following their instincts.
You Xi Wang entered the core of this formation when he injured the first demon. His action had no hesitation. This boy was fearless. The second target wasn't any better as well. You Xi Wang stabbed the spear head behind his ear. Ears were a very crucial organ for the demons, this was what they found out in the past two days. They will react to the sound better than the light. So objective number one, disrupt the hearing.
As soon as the spear ca into contact with the demon. A loud wail echoed. You Xi Wang jumped off to the Demon on behind him. He swung the shaft of his spear and it landed right on the tip of his buffalo snout.
Bang!
The buffalo headed demon had no other weak spot in it's body except the head. Until and unless you are using high temperature fire or lightning. The demons were irritated. Two of the injured ones prioritized killing the injured demon along with You Xi Wang. The chopped down their axes at him.
SPLASH!
It was as if a hot iron butter has pass through a butter brick. The injured demon was cut down by it's companion but You Xi Wang was missing. At this ti Maya appeared below the demon who had just attacked. She first cast an illusion on him. When the demon slowed down She attacked him with 5 Ice blades. All aid at his eyes, throat and nose. Again a fatal attempt on the weak spaces.
The poor fellow did not even had the ti to wail. The ice blades were quick and accurate. They logged inside the demons vitals and the thing fell down on the ground with a thud. From the side lines Issac spoke, "Two down three to go."
Chen Yuping chuckled, "Look again."
The three demons kept standing like statues. You Xi Wang was seen walking out of the formation and beckoning Maya to co at his side. The people had a weird face that suddenly turned pale. Mace pointed his finger at the demons and said, "Is it just or do you also see three slash wounds on their neck?"
The others nodded. You Xi Wang replied, "What I went invisible and killed them with assassination technique. Co let's go we have work tomorrow."

Inside Array Hall, You Zhichi who has been cultivating in seclusion opened her eyes. She was not in the watch tower where Animus was. She was taken away by Animo Albus to a room. The mont she opened her eyes she found herself in a simple room. The girl stood up and walked up to the door. When the door was pushed open from the inside. The visitor was Animo Albus. The lady revealed a smile as she found that her disciple has awakened. You Zhichi bowed in greeting.
Animo Albus asked, "Did you refine the fire and tyin thod?"
You Zhichi nodded and asked, "Master, how long has it been?"
Animo Albus replied as she caressed the girls hair, "3 to be precise. Also. I have news for you."
You Zhichi nodded and followed her master outside. Animo Albus led You Zhichi to the watch tower where Animus was. The two ladies greeted the old man who spoke with a smile, "So, thus far Xiao Wang killed 30 Demons, last 5 were done all at once. This boy is getting really good at it." he was able to know all this because of a grade 9 monitor array he had cast over the concealnt jade pendant You Xi Wang was wearing.
You Zhichi was surprised to hear the word Demons. She asked, "Grandmaster, what did you say Gougou killed? Demons? How can he stand against demons, it should be the survival round finals, right?" her emotions turned into a storm as soon as it was sothing about her brother.
Animus said gently, "Calm your self child. He is not in danger. We discovered the dark forces conspiracy thanks to him. Then he discovered sothing the council missed. The demon summoning boxes. This thing is known to the great elders, the nine elders and you now. The only exception are the kids on that Island. You brother just led them all, ford a team and trained in fighting against demons. The whole process is very smooth. All the children made oaths and the clever thing is that your brother told them I want it all to be a secret." he paused.
Then continued, "The reason I called you here is that we need a strong force. To be precise, a strong support force. Array Masters are just a handful but they can turn the tides of a battle. You are to practice in seculsion. When you can break through to grade 6 array master. It will be ti for the array hall to welco new talents. You will be the young miss of the hall. While your brother be the young master. Soon, a war between the dark side and the good side will erupt. This ti losing it won't end with a lost day or lost sector. We will lose the whole world. You Zhichi was shocked at these words then the girl nodded. She took in a deep breath and replied, "Grand master, the disciple will not let you down. Also I have so talents in mind. After I go ho I will plant the seed for the new forces."
Animus nodded with a smile. He knew that his grand disciple was a gentle person. The girl left the watch tower and ca to the library. Before stepping inside, she glanced at the sky and mumbled, "Mom, Dad, watch over Gougou. I don't have the strength to loss him again. Please make sure he cos back safely."
After a sigh the girl entered inside the library. She cared about only one thing in this whole universe. That thing, that person was her brother. The two people were now bound to start the real journey of their lives.
